@@fjorinomusaku7088 I'm sorry for your loss, I know how bad it hurts. As time passes you'll feel better and remember all the great memories he/she made with you. After we lost our first dog I thought, well I'm done with being a dog owner....shortly thereafter we had golden number 2 who was incredibly wonderful so keep your chin up.
Our Golden’s release word is ‘Okay’. We try to trick him with ‘Oklahoma’, ‘Okra’, ‘okey dokey’, but no, he’ll only respond to ‘okay’. Yes, you are right, Goldens make the best and most awesome family members.
I disagree on a small point. Actually advice I give to anyone getting a Golden; forget the words 'pet' and 'owner'. That is not what this is. You are adopting a friend and family member. It all goes easier once you wrap your brain around that.
Shedding is a problem every golden retriever owner goes through and we have just a perfect video for you - th-cam.com/video/wODzPT0HA7c/w-d-xo.html . I hope I was of any help :)
11 is right on the money. Our golden calmed down with age, but that wasn't him not being playful, that was just learning patience between playtimes. 12 is also very true. A golden retriever named Angel wrestled with a mountain lion that was making a move on her family's child. Animal control shot the mountain lion, and even though she was hurt (she made a full recovery don't you worry), the first thing she did was make sure the kid was okay.
2:30 the person needs to know that they own my two dogs twins they literally look the same. I have the same two breeds and my Shih Tzu has the same three colours only his hair is cut
Haha that's a crazy coincidence! Both the dogs belong to our neighbors😄 and They are best friends with our Chubby Simba! I hope we were of any help! Thank you so much for the Comment :)
get an f1b goldendoodle. although they're only 25% golden retriever, they still share the same friendly personalities. they're 100% hypoallergenic as well. you will have to get them groomed every 6-8 weeks though.
@@dylang2003 So you pay double for mix breed dog than a pure breed dog? Do you know about all the health issues with all mix goldendoodles? People don't do their research about those two breeds mix together.
@@diosprotege9328 the golden retriever alone has plenty of health issues, just like any other purebred dog. in fact, a goldendoodle is more likely to have no health issues considering it's parents aren't related. and paying more for a mix breed than a purebred makes perfect sense when that mix breed is healthier and brings the best traits from both breeds into a singular dog. you most certainly would not pay double the price of a golden retriever, and it's easy to research what breeders are reputable or not to ensure you're getting a good puppy. goldendoodles are great dogs and they do not deserve the hate they get.
You could search for a Groodle or Golden Retriever/poodle mix. They are not meant to shed. However, shedding can be forgiven just to have a gorgeous Golden in the family.
Some people still seem to forget that golden retrievers do have a powerful bite force that’s estimated to be 190 PSI. Bite-force however does not always equal danger
Why do golden have a short lifespan my girl Bella passed awww last year she was 11 and I just got a new one right away I had to I was to depressed a boy this time Hudson 1 already 😊
Yes that's the reason we said most of the goldens are not that vocally expressive but each golden is unique in its own way so some goldens definitely tend to bark a lot. Also if your dog doesn't get along with any other dogs then try to socialize it as much as possible no matter what. I'm glad I was of any help! Thank you :)
Its rarely a case that a golden retriever is a scared of water since they are born swimmers! If you are referring to baths than its normal but if you are saying water in general then I would recommend to train your dog to swim, eventually he will overcome it.
She is fine in baths but she does not like to swim. We have tried to see if she will swim because my other golden retriever (I have two) will do anything to be near water
It clearly shows you never had a dog…dogs usually dont like to bathe it doesn’t mean they are scared of water and it’s completely normal…get your facts correct
Golden retrievers are model dogs.. they are number 1 in pet advertisings, photos of GRs in pet food.. so happy to see GRs post on advertising
Golden retrievers are simply beyond wonderful! We've had several of them and the worst thing about them is they don't live long enough...
Yes that is so true! We all hope our doggos live forever but its simply not possible😢 We hope we were of any help! Thank you so much :)
Yesterday, I lost my Golden retriever of 13 years , i am heartbroken

Mine is walk😊😊

Agree! GOldens are super friendly... They always waggle their tails and smiley faces. They wanted to be petted all the time
Beautiful dogs
They surely are :)
can anxiety from being separated from owner be a problem ( 7 hours) even if someone comes and checks on them often?
Golden retrievers are awesome
how do i stop or lower the amount of hair my dog sheds? he is 5 months old and sheds a lot.
Suggestion: vacuum each day. Their love is worth the extra cleaning up.
@@AnneMB955 not that. what i meant is even after brushing him twice daily, he still sheds. is there any health issue?

Best dogs there is...

I am gonna get one
That's so great! You will definitely not regret this :)
ugh i cant wait to get a goldie
Goldens dont bark often but when they do it is not quiet, world record holder for the loudest bark is a golden
Haha couldn't agree more😄 We hope we were of any help! Thanks for the Comment!

i wish i could get one but they shed wayyyyy too much. If only they are available as hypoallergenic

Someone needs to tell my Golden they are suppose to be quiet and not have loud barks haha
I will only have golden the rest of my life 😊😊❤😊😊
Maybe my dog is quieter comparing to a beagle, but she surely barks.
Same my girl is a loud mouth. I didn't think a bark that loud and low tone would come out our girl .
Yes our simba is clearly more quite then our groot since beagles are more vocally expressive dogs :)
my Goldie is very refined than my beagle 😂 they are extremely opposites. my beagle is just like a tornado.
Part two!
(If you want part two like this coment!)😀

except for number 9, my boy is the number 1 enemy of cats😒😒 also he can bring eggs but he'd prefer to eat them rather than deliver
Goldens can easily be trained away from these behaviours. Their nature is to please. 🐕
Hmm
My Pit Bull has spots on his tongue
I beg to differ....mine is a female and she barks constantly and she doesn't get along with all dogs.
I guess females aren't so different in the animal kingdom too huh ?
You can teach your Golden not to bark so much. They are easily trained.

Please save these wonderful dogs from the Chinese meat market
Adopt Dont buy !! this video is BS
Each to their own. Adoption is not for everyone. Anyway, Goldens are snapped up quickly.
There are very few Golden’s up for adoption
