@@thesodathief I am currently seeing one, but thanks for the suggestion! Their help has been life-changing, I would highly recommend people go to one as well.
I purchased a click and carry shortly after you reviewed it. I use it all the time since I moved from a house to a condo. One of the most useful purchases I've made.
I know this sounds so overblown to someone who isnt me haha but the pillow stand has made such an impact to my quality of life and im so truly grateful that you decided to review it Id been looking for a phone stand i could use without knocking it over or it falling for about 2 years. This has made such a difference for me as someone disabled who was struggling to even hold my phone to use it because i was having to position myself so awkwardly to use it. Truly thank you so much. Amazon in the UK doesnt seem to have the company selling it anymore, just third party sellers, which are so much more expensive. Hope it comes back in stock soon so i can buy some spares as its made such a difference i dont want to risk being without it in all honesty. Thank you again
I would have bought the Tovala oven if I wasn't worried about the company going under or no longer supporting the oven. The focus on the meal subscription in a market that's already so saturated is too concerning for me to make the investment.
I have two bread buddies...the crush protection and dispenser are not the only benefits, they help greatly in preventing freezer burn if you freeze your bread in them. Just make sure you have enough room in the freezer, I find the door is a good fit. Great product.
I have two of those bread buddies and they are a lifesaver! The being able to be stored vertically and unsquished is amazing. Helps it stay fresher longer too!!
I bought the Tovala oven based on your review and ads that I have seen on TV and I love it. The meal plans are nice to sign up for every once in a while, tasty but expensive. It cooks everything almost perfectly with the barcode scanner and I would recommend it.
I bought the click and carry thing and phone pillow per your review. Don't use the click thing much as we lose track of it. Use the pillow a lot. Use small tablet to read books and it works great to read in bed and not hold the tablet. I ended up getting another one. Didn't love the price but have used it for hours and hours.
Ok, that’s because of you that I bought the Click & Carry handle. I didn’t remember. A handy gadget that I use every week. I do not carry more bags, but it makes it a lot easier to carry them and climb my 31 stairs with the grocery. Thanks James!
The moment I saw the Pillow Case episode, I knew I had to buy it. I am happy I did. Still using mine regularly, and its in great shape. Glad to see the one year mark video regarding this.
Those cheese choppers were around 50 years ago when I was a kid but no one liked them because they were more trouble to clean than just chopping the cheese.
I use a presto plug to move the outlet from behind my bookcases. I’ve plugged in a smartplug to control a lamp. The outlet now is on the wall at a good height for me and is positioned in the small width of wall between the bookcases and the window. I don’t use it for anything else. I could have used drywall anchors to install a power strip to the wall but the Presto was just simpler.
I love your one-year updates! I’ve bought a few things after your reviews including my husband’s Allet wallet. I got it for him as Christmas gift the year you reviewed it and he’s still carrying. Not only that, it still looks great!
there's one problem with the Bartesian when it comes to mixing is that it use's the same pipes internally for multiple types of alc with no wash or cleaning between uses, meaning there will always be a little bit of leek though and if you leave it for too long things get kinda rank
For the presto plug, it's not all about "how it looks", it's about functionality. Imagine those times when you "hide" a plug by putting something large in front of it. Especially for plugs that are not flat. It looks like it'd work for making that particular outlet more accessible.
I've had my gen 1 and then gen 2 Tovala since they came out ... still use em, still get meals but also get to scan in some of my groceries I like for treats.
I carry the click n carry everywhere. Great for groceries. I also use it so I can carry lighter bags and my water bottle hands-free. Just clip one side to my crossbag and the other side to the handle. Very useful to a car-less city girl
So, the presto plug, I love it but for a reason I didn’t hear mentioned. I had a plug I was using behind a dresser. I could not put the dresser up against the wall because of the plugs. Presto! Problem solved. BTW, love your videos!
You know Mr. J some would probably have something to say about all the "free" stuff. But I see this as a smart business decision. If I had a product, I'd want you to review it. Cause if you review their product(s)they know that they're getting the truth. And your fans trust you so it's possible sales also. Much respect and hope the kids are good!
The Click & Carry is amazing, but I got it when I was unemployed and eligible for SNAP. Now that I'm working and don't have as much money for food (yes, you read that right), I don't really use mine that much. But I still got a pair of them for my mom. I doubt she uses them, though. Them, and the Tile trackers I got her so she stops losing her keys and everything 😅
I always found it funny that the cheese snob was touting her wire cutter as an easier motion to cut. As if swinging a wire two feet is easier than just pushing down on a plunger.
Always enjoy your look back videos, and all the comments. I was always forgetting to get the bread buddy. Glad I didn't buy it. Thanks, James for a great video. 👍👍⭐⭐🤗🤗
The presto plug comes in handy for disabled/handicap people like myself that fine it difficult to bend to plug and unplug lower placed outlets. Thank you for your review.
I was going to buy the click & carry for my daughter, I'm disabled so she has to bring all the groceries in herself, but my town, & most of the ones nearby, have switched from plastic bags to paper. The town(s) made them.
I have the Tovala oven and love it more than I should! I did the six weeks of meals which was good, but for me it was expensive. I my oven ever stops working I’m not sure what I will do. 😂 I still want the bread buddy, kinda forgot about it. Maybe after we get moved I will order it.
In order to keep bread fresh I freeze it. Just make sure when you put the bread in the freezer that it's flat and level with no kinks. If you can't get two pieces of bread apart take a butter knife and they will pop right apart. If you absolutely need your bread thawed out Pop it in the microwave for about 15 seconds. The only cost is freezer space.
The shopping bag carrier would be great IF we didn't live in NJ as NJ has banned plastic shopping bags. I have several canvas bags with great handles so even if I have to carry each canvas bag in one hand, I can carry 2 bags at once (we usually need 3 shopping bags when shopping for additional items, like laundry soap and water bottles).
Ha I'm drinking Bartesian cocktail tonight that I got because of your review and I still love it. Not had any leaking but the reservoir gets gross if you don't clean it and I bought too many pods in beginning and they do expire. Buy its a hot at parties and I have found my 5-7 drinks I make for myself that I rotate.
with that trivala oven, you said it's cheaper than the other one you tested, that's probably why they push the meal plans so much. those plans are where they're making most of their money. the oven's probably a break even item and they make the money selling the plans

The Bluetooth attachment for the car works really well my mother has had it in her car for like 3 years and it’s really helpful. I’ve never tried calling someone while connected or if I have I haven’t noticed and no one has said it’s horrible lol so I’m not sure about that part. The 1 issue I’ve had over having it for so long is the screen on the device has faded so it’s extremely hard to see especially during the day time with the sunlight, you’re most likely already gonna be connected after having it for so long so it’s not a crazy issue because all you gotta do is keep it on the same radio channel and connect like normal and it’ll work fine ( Changing the radio channel is the only problem when the screen fades)
The presto plug is nice and all but if you really wanna do it right, you gotta do it the hard way. That upside-down example is more applicable to upside-down mounted outlets to indicate they are switched, which is necessary _by code_ in some parts of the world using NEMA plugs.
I hate the bartesian, it leaks, everything goes through the same 1 tube so it gets dirty fast and mixes things you didnt want mixed, the pods are expensive and single use, drinks are horribly balanced, and if you want a cold drink, you either have to remove the bottles every time so you can chill them, or pour the drink into a shaker anyways, I find it better just to do it by hand, more fun that way too
I don't remember seeing the FM transmitter review, but I have the exact same one! Never used the SD card or the mic. I don't remember if I knew they uhh existed. I just use it to play bluetooth on my phone because sadly my car doesn't have that feature. Not as good as having it built-in but better than nothing - and I've had issues with aux cords wearing out, and it's harder to skip songs with just an aux cord.
My own 1-year update because I didn't realize I'd seen this video already ahaha - unfortunately it's having the same issues as my previous bluetooth FM transmitter eventually did, and it's hard to tell if it's due to my phone, the car, or the transmitter. I briefly had success when making my car "forget" the device and then reconnect, but lately it's instead telling my phone that it's requesting to pair, then never going through with it. I recently bought an aux cord, that's how bad it's gotten, but it feels a shame to get a new transmitter if the problem turns out to be my phone.
They must have listened to your review on the pillow phone stand. They make one for tablets now & they make a mini for travel, 2 of your mentioned cons. I wish they made one in a darker color.

The bread buddy wouldn't work here in the UK as our bread are bigger slices. Why have a gadget, when it could probably done quicker by hand. You should visit the UK and see what you can find here
My family all drive older vehicles and I have something that looks almost identical to that transmitter and I've used it almost daily for the past probably 8 or 9 years now
That Bartesian Bartender is expensive. Amazon $359.00 The Cocktail Capsules "k-cups" are sold separate at $2.39 each in a 18 ct. box for $42.99. Total?? $401.99 plus tax and 4 liquor bottles. Your looking at over $500 before you make your 1st cocktail. Too expensive!
I think the lasers scissors would be better if right before you started to cut you could aim for a straight line and then “lock” the laser in place and then just follow that line so it wouldn’t move around
When you made toast in the toaster oven, you commented that it only browned in the last 30 seconds. That's the way all toasters work. Bread has a lot of water in it, so for the first several minutes, the toaster/toaster oven is just evaporating the water out of the bread. Once the water is gone, the bread browns quickly.
hey Freakin Reviews id like to point out that the bartesian might have some very serious internal issues as i watched someone called How2Drink review it and he found some serious flaws. just bringing it to ur attention (if u see this) or others out of safty concerns.

whoever designed the laser scissors were obviously baked out of their minds when coming up with the idea. I'll let you guys decide how that convo went
