A robotic dishwasher might be okay for someone who live by themselves and had mobility issues. They wouldn't have many dishes and wouldn't need many fancy dishes and it could potentially help them
its more work to clean out the device than just straight up washing the dishes yourself by hand. its like pushing your car around to travel so you save gas, just easier to walk without the car or just drive. get a normal dishwasher instead.
The part that got me, was having to have the water running the whole time. Seems like a big waste. For the small amount of dishes you would probably use this on, it would be easier to fill a medium sized bowl and wash them in it.
That would be me, then! But no, this really does look to be more trouble than its worth, far trickier even than doing dishes by hand, which is something I struggle with on the daily as one of my hands grips but little else, and both are weak, ditto both arms - but there is a silver lining, in that this otherwise useless bit of tat could definitely come in handy for encouraging hand puns! ;) Could anyone here help...?
It's just too much effort for the experience because this is an extra thing to clean and those brushes are going to break down with use and not be usable. Not to mention possible mold. A tabletop dishwasher is just better for the use case and will last forever in comparison.
Yeah for toast I don't see why not. Things were built better back then anyway. A pristine looking 40 year old one that has been taken care of is much nicer
My friend made the bread graphics on the menu of the Revolution toaster! She had some trouble getting the english muffin right at the time and she would vent to me about it.
That's so cool! She probably never thought she'd be stressing so much over an English muffin. Lol The graphics looked great, it was amazing how close they looked to real life!
I play World of Warcraft with my hubby and have a terrible time with motion sickness when it comes to flying; be it by Flight Master (aut0) or being on a mount (self or party ride). He bought me those glasses after looking on a WoW forum and reading a testimonial from another player on how much his wife loves them. They absolutely DO help! I use them every time we play! 10/10
I like the Toaster. I would never spend that much money for a Toaster but, since you bought it for the channel and already have it I think it is amazing. And we all get to see how long it lasts. Waiting for the 5 year review.
If you want a long-lasting air seat cushion that are refillable, I recommend Roho Mosaic Cushion. I bought one for my dad's wheel chair and he likes it more than the cheapo foam one. I tried it and like it so much that I also bought one for myself. It is on an expensive side but for what you're getting, it's worth it.
One of the other channels I watch had a really expensive toaster, the Mitsubishi T0-ST1-T, for close to $400 (with a power converter) that only did one slice at a time. I guess it makes an excellent piece of toast..but for that price, it should butter it and feed it to me too.
I really wonder if those anti motion sickness glasses would also work while reading in a car. As soon as I try that in a car I instantly get motion sickness.
Have always enjoyed your reviews. Appreciate a) you try to be fair and objective, b) bring common sense to the equation (how would most people react features and ergonomics of the product, and c) seat-of-pants cost/benefit analysis. Keep up the good work.
I became obsessed with Temu after your review. One thing I ordered to try was an $0.88 phone stand... It's the first of many that actually works. It works so good, ordered 3 more. Who needs a $30 cellphone holder?! 😂
@@pandarush. I've ordered a few clothing items, and it's a mixed bag. I ordered a dress, and it's gorgeous and decent quality. Then I ordered a slip to go under it, and it was absolutely terrible quality. Like one of the worst things I've ever put on my body. Then ordered a couple of skirts, and they are very well made. A little short but I'm 5'9" so that's not surprising. Oh also got a bunch of scarves and been happy with all of those but they only halfway count as clothes. Edit: Oh the shipping times. About 10 days -2 weeks for me. So not bad. I've heard most people seem to get their stuff a little faster.
@Crystal Sands I appreciate your input! That's a shame that it's not consistently good quality. Well...I'm going to take the plunge now and buy a top. They sure look pretty online!
Love my gel cushion, just keep the cover on it, mine has been holding up for years $ 25.00 at Walmart in the vehicle accessory isle ... My opinion ( anything memory foam ) you will eventually hate ... Thank's James and huge hug's from New York 💛
Forget the motion sickness glasses. Pressure point wristbands are good for all sorts of nausea, they are the way to go. Get the soft bands, not the velcro. My mother used them with amazing results when she was having chemo.
I get a tinge of motion sickness that leads into a headache, but would love to get a VR set one day. Wonder if those glasses would help with both regular gameplay on a console and with VR.
Not even speaking about the Elite Gourmet, but the Revolution Toaster shutting off once every 20 uses is horrendous. I’ll stick with my 14 dollar Toastmaster that just sort of works every time. Thank you James for testing all these devices for our knowledge and entertainment 😊
I just purchased a Westbend Toast and Egg Breakfast Station and it is the best thing I have ever purchased. It payed for itself in a week, and I have awesome breakfasts every day. You can do a classic ham, egg, and cheese English muffin, or try frozen pancakes with maple sausage patties with egg and cheese for a McGriddle-like sandwich. It does bagels perfectly!
I own the snug pad, the first one I got wasn't as hard as the 2nd. I'm sitting on it now and it's taking its time to soften up. I may have to order another one. Bc of two spinal surgeries I need a really good one. Thanks for the fun, James. Enjoy all your videos. 🤗😚
Robotic dishwasher is a great idea for people who have problems with their hands, neuropathy, arthritis or otherwise impaired. For a normal healthy person who could do that themselves it is just a gimmick but for the target audience it could be a life changer.
I wish I'd watched your reviews before buying the "everlasting comfort".. I paused this video the minute that thing appeared, to write this, as if you report you like it - i'm gonna be amazed. After a few months, mine went flatter than a pancake run over by a steam roller.
I'm glad your apple peeler worked. Try it with a no so perfectly shaped apple. I tried it 3 times, and now it's taking up real estate in the spare bedroom. It is good for collecting dust.
Thank you thank You thank you for doing an appraisal after the items have been used for months! I find “unboxing” and evaluation videos to be worthless! Who gives a damn what kinda packaging something comes in. An ancient artifact wrapped in newspaper is just as valuable as if it came in a box with hand 🔨 nails and black velvet.
Quick note on toasters: On cheaper ones, the timer is NOT a minute timer. Each number is a heat setting to heat up a piece of metal. Once it's heated to a certain point, it disengages. So test the darkness on every new toaster, as most are slightly different on the actual times. (ie. level 1 will not last a full minute) However, high-end toasters (like the gourmet one, or most toaster that have 4 slots(Think of toasters at hotels or bed & breakfasts. Those kind)) are more or less accurate minute timers. So make sure you know what one you buy, as most people just buy any replacement without knowing.
The Rollie looks useful. i do like breakfast options where my electric stove top doesn't scare the poo particles out of me or my wanting to take it to bits to see how it works. Or bagels every morning, toast, hitting a fast food joint, or my workplace's coffee shop. I am curious as to reviews on coffee makers. I've got a Keurig coffee maker that makes a half pot, or full pot, or a single cup. She's got this clock on it that doesn't even allow me to set it up to brew a pot of coffee. Yet I don't set it after a power outage it won't let me brew brain go juice. And still there's the five buttons I've got to push just to put the kettle on.
It's so weird being fascinated by egg gadgets, while also being aware that most of them are utterly useless or just a gimmick with an extremely niche use-case scenario.
The dishwasher claw would work great for people with limited hand strength or mobility P.S. the BEST bacon ever is still lightly coated in either corn starch or flour and baked in the oven....you'll never convince me otherwise
So I learned a long time ago when I see a gadget and my mind says its easier to just do it this other way that its likely the product wasnt made with me in mind. So the robotic dishwasher. I do not have nor want a dishwasher. I personally think using that myself would be more work and fuss than just doing the dishes the way I do them. BUT I have full dexterity of my hands and wrists. So maybe it would be super helpful for someone with limited motion or a issue with touching water or soap. Or even someone with a grip issue or sensitive skin that doesnt do well if wet often. Many people have these issues and I am glad something may be out there for them
I have a Starfrit branded one just like it, and it works a charm! Only issue it's not easy to wash without water getting into the base. I just drain it well, and let it air dry really well before popping it back into its box. Also, the peeling blade is sharp as hell, so be careful. I only really get it out when I'm peeling lots of apples to make pies or applesauce
In regards to the Elite toaster, maybe that's purpose built to be used on its edges hence why it can accommodate 4 slices. THOUGH that would also imply uneven heating if it's centralizing it like it appears to be.
The only product I have out of this group is the Rollie. I have only used it a couple of times and now it's just taking up space in the cupboard. It's destined for the donation box to Salvation Army! 😂
