I bought a countertop dishwasher when I got my first stimulus check. That has pretty much saved my relationship as we live in a tiny studio & my disabilities have been getting worse.
Speaking of disabilities, the umbrella hat would be helpful for people that are using walkers. I ended up getting a big rain poncho for me, but I still shy away from going out on rainy days.

I bought the countertop dishwasher because of your review, and I love mine! We have an old apartment without a built in dishwasher. It is really handy as we accumulate dishes throughout the whole day, run it while we sleep, and we wake up to clean dishes. I highly recommend it! We especially love the built in water tank as our faucet would be incompatible with all other countertop dishwashers.

I bought the magnetic phone charging cables because of your video on them, and I still use them every day! They have been such a game changer, letting me charge all of my various devices with just one cable, and easily being able to connect/disconnect over and over again without fear of wearing down the charge port, which has been the death sentence of most of my phones

I'm not so sure about that tbh.... My countertop dishwasher is great in my apartment but doesn't fit on my countertop so I have it on a wheeled stand thing so I can use it easily in my galley kitchen. With space being limited in an RV I don't know if the space needed for it would be a worth it price to pay for the convenience....

@@KB3TLR Good info, thank you! Yes countertop space is limited. And it would be a pain to carry it in and out to set it on an outside table. We have the outside hookups and all, but that would be more work than simply handwashing them lol

@@debbierhode6291 yeah. If I was living in rv 24/7 I would find a way to make it work, sacrifice some cabinet or something but if it's just for vacations it is just easier to do by hand. But who knows I'd check into rv countertop dishwasher maybe they've made one that fits idk... If I had shopped around I may have found one that fit on my counter under my cabinet and that would've worked out perfect but what I have now works ok I guess for an apartment

I bought the bluetooth sleep headband after i watched this episode. I have been looking for a comfortable one for years! Once i got it in the mail, i used it. Funny thing is, it seems like the speakers don't hit the ears and others would hear what you are listening to, but no one hears what you do...at all. I tested it with my husband and you hear nothing on the outside, only the person wearing it hears the sound. It is super, SUPER comfortable, and i have actually slept with it all night without discomfort. I love it! Thank you so much for adding this into your one year update reviews.

The main thing I noticed with the Ambervision type glasses (not original ones, but some fake type) was that it was very hard to see stoplights with them, so did not dare wear them driving, or at least had to lift them up to see the light. went back to a darker pair of normal ones shortly after for that.

One of the products here is one we use very often, even at work, and that's the soup mug. That product is amazing! It works really great for instant noodles too, hot water from the cooler at work, or out of the electric kettle here at home and about 4 minutes to sit and cook and you're ready to enjoy. It's so convenient to add the noodles, pour the water and just set it at my desk at work and keep right on working for a few minutes. Cleaning them is super easy too, just a quick rinse or even top rack of the dishwasher and they're like new again.

Idk if anyone cares, but I found a video about how to cook corn and I'll never cook it any other way again. You throw the whole ear in the microwave. Husk and all. 4 mins per ear. (2 ears you go 8 mins. I usually do 2 for 8 but I have done 3 at 12 and it was ok too) then you take them out (with a pot holder cause they HOT) and cut through about an half inch- inch above the bottom of the stem side. Grab the top part and shake and wiggle the ear out and boom. Fully cooked ear of corn no shucking. I'll never shuck corn again. (Look up microwave ear of corn video for visual demo. No gadgets needed)

I got the magnetic charging cables, as I use an android phone and a Kindle, which have different adapter ports. While the magnetic chargers do charge slower, I find not having to mess with 2 different types of charging cables much easier. The light-up feature is both a blessing and a bane, as they are BRIGHT at night and I usually have to hide the end in a dresser drawer as they light up and stay lit up when plugged in. The adapter pieces that go into your phone port do come out easily so if I need a faster charge for my phone, I can switch over to a C type cable. They've held up well over a year and I'm hoping for more advances in that field! Thank you for the reviews!

I’m always confused about how real the tech situation is in Japan. Because there’s def been a lot of videos to suggest that they’ve been living in the future with all these tech items but then the more you find out about average Japanese people they don’t seem to use them that often. Even heard about plenty of instances they’re technologically behind per se, like the graphic design of websites is fairly retro to an American

I love mine, have the same brand and model. I use it every day...I use an old graniteware Canning funnel that has a very high neck and place it on the top to fill the water. No mess and no splash. I also clean all water out of the unit daily. especially the puddled water when you remove the filter. Other wise the water can go stagnant. I have only used the Normal wash twice as the Speed setting does just a good of a job. I grow grapes and make tons of Concord grape jam so I use the Fruit Wash cycle a lot in the fall. I did find that using pods is Over Kill for this washer as they are made for a full size washer and can actually clog the counter top size. ... I switched to Gel instead and love it. Liquid just doesn't clean as well.

Didn't know countertop dishwashers existed before seeing a couple reviews on TH-cam. Yours and TechMoan's. Not sure who was first, but I got my own different brand countertop dishwasher and love it. The thing is life-changing. Also watched your review of toasters and it directly influenced my buying a toaster. The neat thing is I found one on sale at Ollie's for $10 and that thing blows away everything I saw in your video. Fast, consistent, and cheap. Just ignore how the plastic panels are not the same shade, how it feels like it is made from recycled Coke cans, and that $10 price that somehow still made a profit. Scary. But it makes great toast and your videos defined what I should want and expect and were a huge help. Sometimes a big part of product review is just that: defining what the product should do and how to tell if it does that, and you go to great effort to do that every single time. Thank you!

Lol James’s favorite product in this video (which also made his top 10 list last year) is one that I HATE! I ordered one (expensive for a piece of plastic) and it sucks! It can never hold my phone correctly with or without a case and it constantly tips over and no angle is ever stable long enough to watch anything on my phone, that’s for sure. I feel I’d get more out of those dip clips lol.

I also found it funny James keeps it in his pocket when he uses it on airplanes...that's why I have an airplane/trip checklist lol... earplugs, phone holders, usb battery, comfy headphones, sim card tool, bubble gum to pop ears, eye shades, wipes, pens, dental floss/toothpick, socks, tshirt bags (collect garbage before/after "official collection", separate items especially wet or dirty, etc), gloves (for #2, mine or the kids), and probably a dozen more things I can't recall off the top of my head...

I know why you were dismissive of the burrito pop, but it looks like something I'd love! I hate when takeout burritos get soggy and drip through the wrappings -- this looks like a very practical product for someone like me if they clean easily.
Also: Warner Robins is such a small community and is so far away from where you live: do you know someone from there or is that just a graphic tee using their name, mascot, and logo?

I have a dishwasher but I'm tempted to get the counter top one simply so I can avoid having the sink fill up because we forgot to empty the dish washer. It would also be very nice for cleaning the pots and pans right after using them without having to clog up the dishwasher. More room for dishes right?

    • @lmaree200886

Pots and pans are too large for bench top dishwashers, even large dinner plates (I own one). It’s better for smaller things like cups, mugs, bowls small plates, kids plates and cutlery and basic cutlery.

@jdssurf They could be elderly, have a family of ten, have a hectic work life with long hours and little down time, and most importantly: they *want* one.

    • @jdssurf
      @jdssurf 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@Israfel36 I care because it's absurd, and people are wasting money when they can use their hands and a sing in less time it takes for this thing to work. I'm responding to your first post, you lived in a place, and your friends still do without a dishwasher and it's a pain............yes if your crippled, or like I said medical issues, which would be included.........you said it's a pain............it's five freaking minutes to wash the dishes for several people, it's not a pain, it's just laziness. Also, you just called it yourself, a luxury, yeah, and now the extra cost of electric bill too, because in this economy we should be looking for luxury's.
I hope some broke 20 year olds don't buy these because they are cute, because in reality they are lazy, and not money smart.
You said it yourself, they want one, and a luxury..........befor you said it's a pain without.
