I remember seeing Iron Man in theaters on my birthday when I turned 10. Had no idea what the MCU would become by the time I saw Endgame when I turned 21.

Meanwhile the Netflix shows tried their hardest to be grounded and serious at all costs, because comics are too goofy I guess. They even did that overused joke where the main character sees their costume from the comics and says “this is lame”.

It was quite sad in Civil War when tony covered his face right before Cap’s final blow because he thought Cap was gonna kill him.

@Tshifhiwa Filbert Dzhaudzhau Cap would have been able to read tony’s movements. He’s got super soldier instincts and reflexes to use the shield to block the blast or worse redirect it to Tony’s face (it’s Cap, he wouldn’t have done the latter)

That last moment of Sam looking up towards the sun is a dope way to end the video and symbolic of more Marvel moments to be adapted to MCU moments...I love this universe
Gotta give respect to the real heroes of the MCU.....the casting /costume staff....one of my great joys of watching the MCU was how each new character was cast/dressed in such a way that the audience *immediately* recognizes who its supposed to be. Everything from the costume, facial features, general built an hairstyles
Don’t forget about Sarah, the casting director, the one who also found the actors that immediately connect with the characters

Antman was the movie for me that made me realize that any Marvel comic character\story\moment is on the table to see in the movies and it made me so happy

As someone who is a huge fan of Marvel since I was a kid from the 20th century, I definitely look forward to make my own fan made marvel universe series taking inspiration from all marvel media and replicating it in my own version.

If I would have read all those comics before watching films, I would have enjoyed it 3000 times! But I still love films and now I am looking at those comics👍🏼

Both fall in Universal and Sony's distributing capacity, that is, they cannot do it without the prior consent
Yeah this was made for Disney+ so it only has the films the on there
Film rights. The comic that resembles the scene is Amazing Spider-Man #33 in February 1966.
Clint Barton as Ronin is low-key one of my favourite stories from the comics and I was so surprised and happy to see that some form of it made its way into the movies.

I love seeing the comic counterparts to these scenes but can we just appreciate that Marvel excepts the movies that were received poorly instead of just pretending like they don’t exist like “Yeah we hated that movie too” because they understand it all matters

Captain America wielding mjolnir has GOT to be the most surprising moment in the entire MCU movies timeline.

Although I have never read a single comic book in my entire life (not for the lack of enthusiasm, but lack of printed comics), I do enjoy watching the MCU movies and have seen clear inspiration of characters and storylines from the source. I didn't even realize there was an entire shared universe until I rewatched Iron Man (Still #1!) and The Avengers, then it all started coming together

Captain America did try to kill him in the end, knocking Thanos down is the issue.

yeah it absorbs vibration but i think not totally all the vibration it comes into contact. In the movies you can hear the metal sound it produces when it gets hit
