I made 465whp on stage 2+ e30 (91 & e85) bm3 as well I think your mix was off, try using a e85 calculator to get more accurate mixing. On stage 2+ e50 (91 & e85) it’s more closer to 480-500whp depending on where you live and how the weather is. I get spot on mixes with my calculator best bet is to test it before, my gas station near me is 83% e85 so I go based off that. Thinking about doing a same video this week as well but it’s way too hot rn for that✌️ good video tho

This makes me want a b58. I have a mk7 GTI on full bolt ons, turbo upgrade & full e85 and I dynoed 460whp on the dot. Yes I’m lighter but that fact you made just 10-15whp less on only 2 mods + it’s just an Ots tune blows my mind. I’m looking for 340is in the SoFL area now haha great job man
How much boost you running? I was thinking about going 2.5 and add some E but I’m reading if you run that a lot you’ll need a new turbo soon since I guess it’s not meant to run over 20psi
Is this before the BM3 v2.2 update? E50 stage 2+ is supposed to be making around 510whp. I just went stage 2+ last week, only running 93 octane right now but coming from stage 1 the difference is insane. Multimap feature is really nice as well to switch to the MPPK tune on the fly for daily driving. Only problem is the traction control issues with the v2.2 update. Hopefully they get that fixed soon, luckily I’m AWD so I’m not as worried about it.

@@Metoy3r your mix was comletely off bro.. you had way too much e in the tank. You forgot to account for the 10% ethanol thats already in the shitty CA 91. For e50 you gotta put 6.5 gallons of E85, 5.5 for e40, and 4.5 for e30.
any recommendations looking to get into a 340i only ones i’m seeing on market are 2016-2017 with 70-80k thoughts on a higher mileage 340i would appreciate a response

@@lamakicker69 tu pump gets the job done especially with stock turbo, there are some people running tu with bigger turbo but they're doing some type of other fueling like pi or meth, most people wont run over e60 with tu anyways so tu is a great option for 500 bucks but yeah dorch st2 would be good for future proofing

That weak ots tune is a tune for everyone to be able to buy and go put on any car with that engine , which means it will be somewhat conservative so they don’t get a bad rep of potentially damaging peoples shit quicker then they would expect.

I don’t know man it could be lots of things. The numbers advertised is always the ideal setup. Maybe with the ideal supporting mods, Dorch HPFP, along with true E-85 510 would be attainable. There could be lots of factors but overall still very happy with the numbers

It’s not the best to pass more then e30 on a stock hpfp it won’t handle the e50 for long you should get the gen 2 b58 TU pump it can handle e50 on stock turbo all day long!

Not every dyno is the same and numbers will vary. Best way to check power is to do a pull 60-130mph with a draggy
Even that can vary tbh bc of humidity and density altitude

This was after the update. I believe my e-50 mixture was a little off so realistily I was probably at an E-30 or E-40 mixture.

Dorch stage 2 isn’t really needed unless you plan on upgrading your turbo. TU pump is plenty.

It’s a stock 2nd generation b58 fuel pump from a supra. It’s called a TU pump. You’ll have to get one off is someone used

Pointless doing a custom tune with bolt ons. E50 map is pretty strong for being OTS, you really only need a custom tune when you upgrade turbo.

E50 does not mean 50% e85. It means 50% ethanol. You need to test both fuels and do the math or get an ethanol content analyzer.
