My house is furnished with LG refrigerator, tv, and washing machine. We have a 3500 refrigerator. We took an extended warranty paying 430 $ . When you need service they are impolite and rude on the phone. My fridge stopped cooling freezer was leaking . It has been several days. No response yet.. extended warranty is not worth getting withL G
When your LG refrigerator quits working after three years and it will good luck getting support for it ours has been out for a month and a half now

Every time the power goes out, the Custom Chiller resets to 42° ruining my food. I shouldn't have to reset the drawer and often don't get any notification till I discover all my meats and cheeses defrosted.

They forgot to talk about the feature where, if you have a model with the glass window, you can knock on the glass to light it up to see inside
And the compressor fails after 2 years. Yeah life is good. If you like buying refrigerators every two years.

There is a 10 year warranty on the compressor. but they are not available until next month.You can buy an extended warranty which may be a good idea at least a three year because thats how long they usually last. You will still have to pay labor which can run to $300 to $500.
Get used to it. These refrigerators are complete junk and their support is even worse.

is there a vacation mode
there is not a "vacation mode" it has what they call the "smart cooling" system and 8 temperature control sensors. It will start to remember in the first few months of use, how often the refrigerator is opened, how it is used and compensate with the right temperature as needed.
