Oh my goodness. Well done Matt and Phoebe. This one is so special. I really teared up watching such majestic beasts in their natural state. The lion brothers had me in a puddle. You just don’t see that everyday. Wow. Wow. Wow.

A safari is one thing I would absolutely LOVE to experience, on the top of my bucketlist! A dream! But, at 62 and not able to financially, I know all it is and ever will be is a dream...but as long as I can see videos of that beautiful land and glimpses of the country's magnificent wild animals, I am ok with those! Closest thing to being there and better than magazine pictures, ya know! Lol! Thanks for the Journey.. I was in Africa for the migration a few years back and it was one of the most magical things I have ever experienced. I completely understand the emotion that you feel seeing and experiencing seeing these amazing animals up close in person. The smells, sounds and people of Africa make my heart swell. Everyone should have this privilege once in a lifetime.

It really is emotional, huh! Those brother lions just reduced me to tears - it was so special. I remember feeling the same way the first time I saw a lion that close but I thought maybe it was just a thing you feel as a first-timer.... but I think it's just so special it's something you can't help but feel every time! Would love to see you both get out there on safari, I think you'd LOVE it. haha noooo, as a non-meat-eater I couldn't be quite as daring as Matt!

Great video you have great presentation skills. Had three trips to Africa but they have all been roughing it type of trips. Would love to do a luxury safari like this. I envy that leopard sighting. In 8 weeks I only saw two leopards and they were both about 100 yards from the road. I heard them and even found paw prints outside my tent one morning but they're so elusive.
The five rhinos were in fact White Rhinos. You can tell by the 'wide' muzzle which is more suitable for grazing of grass. White is actually a distortion of the Afrikaan word for wide: Weiss. Black rhino have a narrower muzzle and prehensile lips that they use for browsing of shrubs etc. They are also more inclined to lead a solitary existence.

haha I hear you! I was scared at first too but the guides do an amazing job of giving you plenty of information as to why you're safe and keeping a very close eye on things at all times. After the first game drive, all our nerves disappeared! By the end of it, you're totally relaxed :) It's awesome!

Absolutely incredible video! Looks like an epic and surreal experience. We're headed to South Africa for a Safari in September and I wanted to know a bit more about your camera gear. What camera/lens combo did you use? What zoom length would you recommend? I'm debating between a huge 60-600mm and a 50-400mm that's half the weight. Just not sure how close you were able to get to the wildlife. Thanks in advance!

Amazing video! 😍 me and my wife have booked our Safari Trip for end of April after watching 🥰. One question though, on the website of Kapama it says it's a low risk malaria zone, did you do anything about that to protect yourself? I really don't want to take the pills
