Our First African Safari | Royal Malewane Luxury Lodge | INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE

- After a couple weeks in Cape Town, we flew to Kruger National Park to go on our first African safari. We stayed at Royal Malewane, a luxury lodge where people like Bill Gates, Justin Bieber, Elton John, Oprah and many more have spent their holidays in the last few years and it was an incredible experience!
The lodge is located in the private Thornybush reserve, just next to the Kruger National Park. Royal Malewane is part of the Royal Portfolio, a South African hotel group, owned by Phil and Liz Biden who also own the Silo in Cape Town and La Residence in Franschhoek amongst other properties.
During our stay we also got the chance to have a site visit of The Farmstead, another luxury lodge by The Royal Portfolio with only 3 suites and 1 villa.

That's a lot nicer than the hunting safari i went on in south Africa 25 years ago. Staying in a brick ranch outside of grahamstown and a cabin near port elizabeth

This place was amazing my South African Supplement Distro Mr. Shane Bond, a helicopter engineer, flew us private to Botswana Showed us Atlantis that apparently closed down from a major fire. We stayed for 5 days once in a lifetime experience for us. The animals were extremely malnourished
Sounds like quite an adventure! Hope to make it to Botswana later this year!

Did you have to take anti malaria meds?
We did for a few days, but Laura got some nasty side effects and basically every person who lives there year round will tell you not to take them so we stopped taking them. In the end it’s your own choice and you should do what feels right for you 🥰❤️
