In case it is still not working for some ppl...the file is actually in txt file. So if you have the windows option enabled to show all extension, make sure there's .txt append at the back. Eg., SLUS_013.68.txt, not SLUS_013.68

Ok I understand everything your saying but I ran into a problem, I did everything but when I hit save after I add a new code it changes when I go back into the edit cheat codes and try to download it help?

Also Note if you're playing a game like FF9 that has multiple discs the SLUS changes for each dis so cheats that once worked won't work from disc 1 - 2
I noticed this issue today while I was trying to add in some cheats I used the SLUS from my older FF9 ss from disc 1 and nothing came up so I loaded into the game did a new save state and noticed the SLUS changed
Yes, the code changes from one disk to another, even if it is the same game, Resident Evil 2, Gran Turismo 2 etc ... The game has specific codes for each disk ...
i did it all but it doest apear in the "edit cheat codes"

I have a possible solution for those who do not code listed.
do the procedure, but sometimes the name of the saved file can also appear "SCUS_941.63HLE" if that is the case, place it as cheat file name and delete "HLE", the cheat file name should be "SCUS_941.63", and try, hope it will help them,

How about if I want to activate multiple cheats in one game? How would I use the same save state?
Put a space between each cheat code. Example:

I have tried to use gameshark and it never works for me I get to the booting please wait screen and it gets stuck loading there and never continues help?

how do you change from the game window to the emulator window and you are able to swap discs?!
Just pressing the ESC key on the keyboard, then you can change the game window to the emulator window. After that select the file menu > Change disk

Austin Carman You do not forget to enter cheat starting with a "#" ??
If not starting with the sign, then the cheat will not appear on the the cheat menu.
And do not forget the file that contains cheat are named in accordance with the format SLUS games, such as "SLUS_014.11.txt".
Then put it on the folder cheats ePSXe Emulator.

Edit cheat can be on notepad, then the notepad is given the title with psx product code
cheats don't show up and the file is saving as a text file.. not changing like it is supposed to. how do I fix that?
+SDSKhaeos Do not forget to rename the text file with product code PSX, ex: Slus. And Always write the '#' to add a new cheat.

But when I open the emulator the game Start but the "Main Page" who can make Save States etc. while be Closed how can I do that they remain Open?

Or it can directly press F1 when the game progresses. :)

For Crash Bandicoot 1, my file is cheats/SCUS_949.00 and it isn't showing the list of cheats in ePSXe.

Sorry buddy, what you said does not make the slightest sense, the CUE file is nothing more than the shortcut of BIN, start with bin or cue, will give the same, in all those years of emulation had never heard a person speak a Such thing...
omg ill say it again BIN FILES DO NOT ALLOW YOU TO USE CHEATS. but CUE FILES WILL LET YOU USE CHEATS. So i was using BIN type files when i figured out it doesnt work at all. So i switched to playing on the CUE and cheats now work ive been doing emulators for around 10 years i just never did cheats till recently
Friend, the game has its own programming language and specific, the code does nothing more than "changing the memory addresses" of the game, if it is a game of ps1, the code varies from region to region depending on the game, without counting That some codes have the "joker command" needing to do something in the game to work, in summary, no matter what the game's image format; Bin, cue, iso, mds, mdf, ccd, nrg etc ... That does not change anything, the code will work! I've already figured out several codes from gameshark to ps1 using cheat engine, I've never had that kind of problem, regardless of the game, either on gameshark with on ePSXe. The code does not work is one thing, now does not work because of the unknown bin format, if you tell me which game happened this, I can see ...
again it will NOT work on bin EVER even the developers of ePSX said it WILL NOT WORK on their site didnt see it till yesterday it was answered all cause the bin files are not the full game file its a simplified game file making less graphics, more simple plain gaming, and smoother play for people who dont have decent graphics cards, ram, and processors
and its happened on ALL 267 games i have for ePSX so i know what im talking about didnt work for Tomb Raider games, Yu-gi-oh games, final fantasy games, spyro games, digimon games. james bond games, tekken games, mortal kombat games, you name it it didnt work cause bin will never work for the games cause as i said its the dummy version of the game that is simplified down to just be smooth playing for less graphics and thus not compatible with cheats or anything

Try not to use too much cheat. My experience is too much cheat code causes the game to stop.

i wanted to show a friend how cheats worked on epsxe and i loaded up the 255 vit cheat code on my ff8 file, but now even after using the menu to disable the code, and even removing the text file in the cheat folder all together, its still applied to my ff8 files. any idea how to fix it?!
