I found this video extremely helpful as a new owner of the same vehicle, it helped me greatly move from a 2019 Highlander XLE to this new 2023 Highlander Limited. Well presented, well explained, great job. Thank you.
This is very helpful. Very clear and comprehensive. I got all the needed info I am looking for. Plus other cool stuffs that will be very useful. Thanks bro.
Thanks for this video-you put a lot of time and effort into it and were quite comprehensive. Maybe I missed it but I need to add my wife to the settings so when she uses the vehicle, it automatically recognizes her phone. Is there a simple way to do this? Thank you.
Good video. Very helpful. Apparently, this system does not allow multiple views on a single screen such as displaying a clock, media playing, navigation, and/or other information at the same time. I own a 2023 Highlander Platinum and was hoping for a single interface. Thanks for teaching me on other issues.
Fantastic info! I’ve had my 2023 for a year and a half and I thought I knew most everything. I learned even more! Great job! I’m hoping to connect a cd player through the USB port and I think it will work. It uses WAV files.
I want to try the jump drive with my 2023 Limited. Currently, I am in a promotion plan w/ mobile phone and it will end shortly. I am trying to think of ways to lower the data usage. I was thinking music from my MacBook to a flash drive. If I am successful with this I plan to use that moving forward. I assume the flash drive input would allow for mp3, wav, and Since have had the 2023 Limited for a while What toyota app is the correct one to use via the phone? I found the red one that says Toyota App and the Black one I came from an American car background and my jalopy was not this sophisticated. I am a hands on learner so, I am learning everyday! I just figured out how to set the AC to blow cool air in my face. If I had time to sit down a read the book I would. I can see I wasted too much time with American made vehicles. I had heard so many great things about Toyota I would have been a fool to have purchased anything else.
Question: I had a 2020 Toyoata Highlander Platinum and was able to see a live weather radar map under the Info option. I just upgraded to a 2024 Toyota Platinum highlander but cannot find that option
I just got home with a 2024 toyota highlander hybrid Platinum, I see on the screen you have that the back screen is black . My screen is white how do you change it? Video is very good.
Is there a graphic display of your favorites so you don’t have to scroll up and down the left side of the screen for your AM/FM or satellite radio selections. I have a 2024 Venza limited 12.3 screen. I like the older system better but I’ll have to get used to it. Scrolling while driving is not safe
Is there a Driver Speak Easy option in the 2023 Platinum? We used the option in a 2022 and was expecting it in the 2023. There is a microphone above the driver and passenger seats next to the sun visors. I have gone through all the settings and could not find anything.
Bought my car used and the previous owner didn't clear her info. I can't seem to do anything without entering a PIN that I don't have, any suggestions?
Is there a way to find out the power output for the head unit? What I'm trying to ask is. If you have that 12.3 display but don't have the JBL package, will the head unit be powerful enough to add your own JBL speakers (or aftermarket).
8:36 in TX. We bought a new 2023 Toyota hybrid Highlander and had everything working and now have new iPhones. I can’t find how to remove the old phones as well as trying to put the new ones on. Most that I have looked at on TH-cam address the issue up to 2022 but nothing about removal on 2023.
@@vadimilchuk5029 I bought cd player from Anazon for $99 but going to send back. Music sounds great but the song name and who is singing doesn't show on the screen so I am giving up. Going to use Spotify. At 70 I have a large collection of CD's the same as I had Albums and 8 track tapes before that. Such a large waste of money keeping current with technology. Now I can just give them all away like the Disney VHS tapes. Guess helps me keep my brain active but sure gives me a headache and stress to learn vs. sitting back and chilling. I like the 23 highlander's ride but google search said Highlander in 23 has CD player. I think they are wrong.
Too bad the factory system is soooooo lacking in terms of content, no split screen showing audio and map at the same time, it’s just so lacking in cool features like Hyundai and other manufacturers
Radio functions... as you travel you don't show how to find new radio stations as you travel, which for us means when we go to the grocery store which is 45 minutes away. The radio does not keep up and we are constantly trying to get some kind of reception, so frustrating!! Toyota really drops the ball on this feature, they assume you want to pay for ANOTHER subscription service.
Good info. But the one reason I will not buy a Highlander, is that Awful Pointing Right Center console and trim. Seriously, what a weird, lopsided ,unbalanced design. It's just to distracting having the infotainment system in that Square on the Left, and pointing Right arrow looking thing.
So, here's the problem - I'm not going to spend hours at a time in my new Highlander trying to work through this vast and complicated system. When they can migrate this entire system to a laptop I'll work on it. Until then, this entire system is nothing more than an accident waiting to happen. I can either drive safely or get distracted by this massive system. Can we just have a dial for the darned radio? Pathetic, Toyota folks, Pathetic.
These settings are pretty much common in all newer vehicle systems. And, you’re supposed to make all these selections/customizations while parked, during your vehicle setup at home, not while driving.

Getting my New Highlander on Monday, will have to watch several times but you will answer all the questions with this video. Thanks.
Bro, Great presentation on the 2023 highlander. This really helps. I really appreciate you.

thank you. Very thorough instructions. Are you able to walk me through on how to play video files on this system?

Is there a protection on the screen?

Nice job. Does '23 XLE h'lander have an AUX female plug? I'm trying to figure out how I can play my iPod in the media system. Please reply. Thx much.

wats the market price of this?
The app isn't available in my country what should I do

Can I replace the screen to 2021?
Can I change the background screen if so how??
I wish someone would do a video explaining what you don't get if you don't log into the Toyota app. Is it really necessary?
Bought my car used and the previous owner didn't clear her info. I can't seem to do anything without entering a PIN that I don't have, any suggestions?
When you answer my question, how will I know you sent an answer and where can I view it? Thanks very much.
Where do you plug in the thumb drive? I'm waiting for that?
I’m assuming the USB-A slot next to the 2 USB-c slots.
I wanted to make sure while driving to hear directions if the music is on. Also to repeat the last dirction.

I see you have a black background. Have a new highlander hybrid Platinum which has white background how do I change to black?
Great video, thank you!
I heard somewhere that it has Alexa integration, but don't see where?

Map detail does not show up when you click on the Show Speed Limit. No speed limit is shown. My wife’s Rav4 does show it.
My highlander has no CD player how do i play my cds?
With an old school CD player and AUX cable.

I have the 2023 Venza with this same screen. Is it possible to do a split screen I.e. half with the Waze map and half with Sirius XM info.?
I have a 2023 venza limited too, I hate the native screen no split screen and no cool content at the same time
How do I put it in dark mode?
I believe your phone has to be in dark mode.

wouldve liked to see android auto, Apple car play is really bad

Quit crying
Just click the speak on the steering wheel, and tell it what station you want.
It isn't hard to use at all.
