Now I would notice that the amazing ending of the scene came in the aftermath of Rab praising God for His "interior design" skills, and being disappointed at having his divine moment of reverie disturbed by some English got-rich-quick yobbo types. There's real pathos here. But also something uplifting as Rab cries out about "Hands across the Sea".

Then he says "I see", and we hear the reference to "bandi" and then he shouts out about Rab being his friend, and ends with Adios, which is said in the south of Spain without us hearing the "s" at the end. Pretty much all there is...
