I’ve just shown my wife this clip , she’d never seen it , I thought everyone of an age had. I also remember going to see a play with Jimmy Logan & Una McLean at the Kings in Glasgow that took on the same subject around the same time, I don’t remember it’s name but Jimmy starred as a Rangers fan who got arrested for throwing an orange at a referee only to come home and find that same referee renting the spare room at home, he also had to suffer the indignity of jumping for joy at the news his son had signed a professional football contract only to discover that he wouldn’t be wearing the shirt he had dreamed about 😳 oops.
