i think they should make one that also reduces the weight of a console or pcvr headset, all the weight would rest on the ceiling or something

Probably wouldn’t be great as it would pull you back and not feel free

@@ItsSamuelJones well i guess not all the weight, but a 20% weight reduction would be neat.
Something to keep weight off the front part unless that does it already, which is something to consider; like extra trackers

How do you store your headset if it’s connected to the cable management system

You can just unhook it pretty easily.

what extension cable are you using? all the ones I've tried either aren't compatible or after a while they stop working

Nice! I loath being tethered. It's that barrier, aka immersion breaker that nearly destroys stand up VR, and it even manages to bother me for sit down as well.
Now what about the small finicky sweet spot thanks to those awful fresnel lenses, and High motion persistence OLED display? lol Nothing you can do about either. Sony shot themselves in the foot with this thing, for multiple reasons >
Tethered, Bulky front visor, No pancake lenses for wide sweet spot, chunky cumbersome ring'd controllers, it's also a little front-heavy around the nose and uncomfortable(Never had this issue with PSVR1) and it's display produces too much head movement blur at reasonable brightness levels.
To get the best motion clarity(2ms persistence) you have to drop the VR brightness slider down to zero, but then you're only left with a miserable dim and bleak 60nits of brightness. 4th point gets you 110nits(comparable to Quest 2) but at a noticeably higher persistence.
You're essentially trading motion for brightness with each click forward...
Quest 2 has zero head movement blur(1ms persistence like a CRT) @100 nits. I would of gladly taken that over the mess that is Sony's VR2 oled display. Such a conflicting headset. But my god is Resident Evil: Village incredible. It's THE reason why i'm holding on to it, including RE4: VR mode, possible Astro bot port or sequel and whatever else.

The cable is the main reason I went with the meta quest 3 instead. PlayStation dropped the ball by not making it a stand alone system
