- Hey guys! This is a video I've wanted to do since freshman year and i'm so excited that my time has finally come. I am also SO GLAD that this crazy stressful process has come to an end and such exciting things are ahead!

just focus on being a teenager and then worry about something that is coming up in 3 years

Don’t worry about what will happen in the future! I’m currently a sophomore and will be entering my junior year soon. Therefore, it is still too early to be stressing about college for students who are going into high school. What I would do on my free time sometimes is do some research of colleges and majors/minors. At the mean time, just focus on being you and enjoy your time in high school. Also, work hard and good luck! 💕

love your channel! I'm currently a sophomore at UCLA and I love it so much! The campus is beautiful and though it sounds cliche, the best thing about UCLA is the people. The student body is so diverse and I've already made so many incredible friendships that I'm confident will last a lifetime. Congrats on all of your acceptances and wherever you decide to go, you're going to do great things!
Aaaahhh congrats on so many acceptances!!! I am currently a first year at UW Seattle and I personally love the environment and the work ethic; it can just get really competitive but what college isn’t? But just go with your gut and choose a school you can see yourself at and absolutely killing it!

congrats on everything melanie!! i was literally so happy for you seeing your reaction to ucla haha. i'm a recent college graduate and i think a big tip is to visit the universities (hopefully once corona is over) to get a feel of the vibe because i think that's super important and once you're there you'll know in your gut whether or not you can envision yourself there for the next four years. whatever you choose i know you'll make the most of it :)

i’ve heard good things ab all of those universities so it’s really up to you to decide and see which school would best fit your needs like location, major, programs, scholarships, etc.
good luck and don’t put too much pressure on deciding bc anywhere you go will be great!!

I'm from California and this is my first year at UW Seattle and I absolutely love it :) BIG congrats on getting into Foster bc I know it's super difficult! UW is a great university with lots to offer and I strongly recommend it!

I love that so many people apply to Cal Poly SLO! I’m from near SLO so it makes me happy people know it exists☺️
Tips for choosing- talk to actual students that go to the school or have recently gone there, not just abt academics but also abt real student life. What you see on tours and what the school tells you is very different than what the actual experience is! Chances are, your experience will be very different. Also, CLASS SIZE MATTERS.

You were always posting how you were studying for the SATS and doing your college essays on your Instagram story so I was kind of really excited to see a video like this 😅 I got accepted into Chapman and USC (which were the only to schools I applied to in the US) - I decided to commit to Chapman since it was my top choice and they offered me a scholarship... I am so excitedddddd!!!! And congrats on getting into all these schools, it’s very impressive that you manage both your studies and TH-cam so well 💗

Best of luck! Best way for me was college tours but ofc with the latest events that may look a little different (see if there is a virtual tour if you have not visited yet). Also check out what the admissions office is doing to guide you to picking their school-- are they reaching out? Investigate the program you are interested in and see what that course/pathway looks (also student life and resources) also if you are interested in minoring or can minor -- what minors do they offer?? Ofc it is your decision and what ever way you choose it will be a memorable 4 years (: (sorry this is lengthy I am a graduating senior this semester!)

I’m going to ASU in the fall! I’m originally from Iowa, so I’m super excited! I visited the school during the summer and got a tour. The campus is AMAZING! The staff and students were super helpful and welcoming. I just had my orientation (online) last week and the advisors were super helpful and gave lots of info! Tempe (where asu is located) is super cute and has many things to do! I know multiple people that went to ASU and loved it!

Girl I am in the SAME BOAT!!! I'm from Utah and will be going to school in Utah, but how I decided which college to go to is I looked at what I wanted to major in, then I looked at all the schools I applied to and looked at how their program is in that field. Finally, I just narrowed things down that way. It is such a STRESSFUL process, but ooooooh I am so excited for you!!!

hey girl! i'm a sophomore at Belmont and since you asked for tips on how to choose, here are some: 1) Pro Con List! literally so helpful 2) whichever you feel the most peace about. lol not many tips but those are what helped me most when deciding!

Hey! Lil tip from my own experience! If you want to get into those waitlist schools: keep in touch with the admissions office! Email them with questions and keep expressing your interest in the school! That will bump you to the top of their list!! GREAT job!! Very happy for you!!

I went to cal poly and loved it! SLO is an awesome college town and employers really like cal poly grads. I’m sure you’ll have a great experience wherever you decide to go!

hi melanie! i'm only a junior but i have a lot of older cousins and siblings and personally i think that UCLA would be a really good fit for you. i am not sure what you are majoring in but through the persona you portray in ur vids i think you would fit in really well and especially as an asian american there. i live in the LA area and i feel like you could adapt really well here :) im proud of u btw!

If you are looking at UW, because it is in seattle, the rent will be high, but it is an amazing school, people are super nice, and its a great way to start whatever you want to do!
