  • This build’s theme is extremely simple. Rush virtuality as fast as humanly possible and pre-build jobs. Once you complete virtuality your two hundred empty jobs will suddenly be filled. Enjoy your uncontested economy and roll over anyone who is not playing virtuality.
    Y0: At month zero you need to destroy the science district, un-employ the enforce, switch to social welfare, go to militarized economy, turn on forge capital, buy 5 cgs monthly, sell 100 cgs and buy 100 minerals to build a death temple, go to isolationist, and kill the crew quarters. In the second month, turn on the priest edict and sacrifice. Also look at the factions and hire an appropriate official for re-election.
    The build order for your capital is the initial death temple, an industrial district, then spam minor orbitals and commercial zones until your last building slot, which will be your 4th and final death temple.
    Y1: For traditions, take the statecraft leader xp from agendas, then take mercantile’s +1 trader from commercial zones and the unity policy. Afterwards you are finishing enmity and then finishing the rest of your traditions. Also, after you finish your starting agenda switch to expand the council, then departmental efficiency, then evolving society.
    Y3: Start building your first habitat. You will build a second habitat around ~Y9. Your secondary habitats will be very empty, except for the ruler and replicator all pops should be resettled to your capital for sacrifice.
    Y5: The death cult sacrifice has a 5 year duration, so sacrifice right now and as soon as possible in the future.
    Y12: Depending on how much resources you need to sink into defense (defensive platforms), you can start pre-building major orbitals, districts, and minor orbitals on all three of your habitats. Among your three habitats, you need one habitat fully dedicated to research, about 6 mining districts, and the rest of the districts built as industrial districts. All free building slots should be filled with commercial zones.
    Y18: You should have begun your transformation situation, and finished evolving society. Like the ToS build, start running the machine agendas in between every large agenda. Run open arms, open markets, and a higher purpose. For the event options, always select the maximal investment since the reduction so research is irrelevant.
    Y28: You should have finished virtuality by now. Continue building as much as possible and enjoy having triple the economy of anyone else.
    Some stats on virtuality:
    The transformation situation takes 81 months (6.75yrs) on full overclock. (On 1x tradition cost, under 100 empire size) Finishing virtuality takes 62k unity and taking the last 3 (so you don't tank the policy's -40% unity income) costs 43k unity.
    Finishing all 4 tradition trees takes 128k unity, but if you don't finish the 2nd and 3rd tree immediately it takes 115k.

    I tried rushing virtuality as gestalt machines with resource consolidation and ended up finishing the situation in 2232.10 (chose error correction) while I had ~35K unity, not enough but I would've probably finished virtuality around year 36.

    I'm surprised virtuality isn't just perma banned everywhere. Do the PvP folks not agree that it is outrageously imbalanced?

    • @potatoshaga
      @potatoshaga  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      yeah its perma banned in every pvp game. the only reason it was allowed in MMM is cus Montu prioritizes views > balance (which is valid)

    Hey mate, could you show a meta build for 3.12? I really like your videos, especially the summary in the description is very helpful for having it on the second screen while playing.

    I tried this with a relic world origin with memorialists and High Priests. Got the Unity portion done in 2029, but think I could have gone faster if i had remembered to supply my priests with minor artifacts sooner and had waited to build a sanctum of quitus until after i had taken 1 or 2 ascension perks.
    I also had 2 wars back to back, so I wasn't focusing as much as I should have.
    Ring world and Machine World might be the fastest still.

    how well does it scale into lategame since youre limited by 3-5 habitats

    • @potatoshaga
      @potatoshaga  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Your early snowball (tributes, fast ecu) means you will be uncontested for like 100 years, but I suppose you hit a soft ceiling after that. But for MP games, "lategame" is like y60 as most don't go past y100 anyways.

    @potatoshaga shouldn't we demolish the reactor district in the capital too? I don't ever have any technicians employed anyway and it takes 2e/0.2a upkeep. I only noticed in 2210, by that time it cost me 240 energy and 24 alloys to maintain a useless district.

      Yeah you could if you don't need the jobs, in which case it is free money!

    Wonderful walkthrough! What i didnt quite get yet is what makes death cult so good. + ~25% unity is negligable and you do loose quite a few pops. Ofc the deathpriest is worth it with its high output but you only get 1 and 1 initiate and the output of the 2 is the same as with 2 priests. Without loosing pops, what am i missing?

    • @potatoshaga
      @potatoshaga  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      its much higher than 25%, when you sacrifice 4 pops at y10, y15, y20, and y25 the low roll is ~40% and the high roll ~70%, the average is 55% unity. and the main downside (losing pops) is completely irrelevant once u finish virtuality. and theres not many good unity civics, what other civic would you put inplace of deathcult?

    i feel like prosperity is better for single player as i almost never meet someone prior t year 20 it seems

    • @potatoshaga
      @potatoshaga  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      if you scout with corvettes you are gaurenteed to find a few people, so enmity is still worth it. but you could definitely replace statecraft with prosperity, in the MMM a few players did just that!

      Probably to increase leader lvl faster, and the leader lvls give increased trade or unity
