2:25 i feel this so deep in my soul.....
I wish there was a way to get it without a dealer license. Would save me the trouble of spending hours making a list of what I am going to pay for vehicles at the auction
That sticker cost you at least 5k horrible placement 😂
Flipping $400 into a massive headache... 😂
You could only wish to have “headaches” like that. 🤣 your only headache is sneaking out and taking your moms car without her knowing
@@niagarajoe4402hell yeah dude id love to buy a 90k car to get a 61k at an auction 💀😂😭
@@johnnydrummer7739 lmao is that what he did? That type of auction isn’t the place to sell a Ferrari, thats wholesale not retail. he only ran it through for the video lmao come in Johnny, use your head
@@niagarajoe4402 i mean yeah that is what he did he took it to auction and got a 61k offer? Did we not watch the same video? 😭💀😂
@@johnnydrummer7739 O-F-F-E-R…lmao you said “I’d love to buy a 90k car to GET 61k at an auction…..
The flying wheels decals gotta go! It does look super clean and them wheels pop good on it!
Craig, if you weren’t standing there it would sell for more. People see the hack job you do on cars and would not pay for one you’ve owned. I’m surprised that thing made it’s way in and out of the auction
Should have taken the stupid sticker off the windshield!
Love the magic 1984 Corvette that switches instantly from Right hand drive to left and back again.
He's using selfie mode which is why we see a mirror image
That decal on the window Flying Wheels makes the car look kinda cheap just in my opinion. But I like your videos.Keep up the good work.
Craig, The Car that James Bond drove across the ice, was an Aston Martin, not a BMW Z3..
He did drive a BMW Z8, in The World Is Not Enough. Z8s are selling for $200,000 and higher today. Z3s go for about $9,000.. and a little higher..
It's kind of wild, but Craig owning this car brough the value down. The previous owner kept perfect records or everything. It had some wear and tear for it's age but nothing crazy. Craig comes in with a spray can, razor blade, sticker half the size of the window and about a gallon of water on the seats and carpet while it's at a car wash. Some people are meant to own exotics and used car deals from NH aren't. Loved the serios though!
My thoughts exactly. The worst part is it’s all on TH-cam for life as evidence 😂
😂
@@Flsjr07yess 2:00
I don't understand how the water all got into the car at the carwash. Does this happen with handwashing as well, and the ragtops back then just don't provide a watertight seal?
I love the series but in all honesty when you sell cars at auctions try to be more anonymous. Nothing sticks out more then saying negative things about the way some people may perceive you and then sticking your flying wheels logo on a windshield.
If you don't sell it now you will probably be married to it by the time next summer rolls around. Take a small hit and let it go. The series was successful. You had some fun. An exotic car isn't fun to own when interest rates are super high and we are sliding into a recession.
💯agree! It’s not a 6 speed.
We aren’t sliding into a recession. We are in one lol
Similarly, I think Craig will be lucky to make any money on his "toys" right now - our economy is heading in the wrong direction and disposable income is drying up.
why would you leave those decals on the windshield, it looks cheap
I can totally relate to Papa Al's struggle to get himself extricated from the Ferrari! It is tough gettin' old!
Let’s face it Craig, No Way you were going to get 95k USD at that auction for a 02 360?🤷♂️
He paid to much to begin with I like Craig but sometimes like most dealers he is full of crap!

After seeing the video of the Ferrari getting stuck etc. I’d pay 50k for it. I think his video about the car hurt the price
The fender flares are not factory on that denali, probably hiding rust
I predict a slaughter on this “investment”
Wow wow wow! Well you don’t have to be Johnny Carson Carnac to see that one coming!🤔
18:58 Cadillac XLR, with the Northstar engine. It rolls on a Corvette chassis (rear wheel drive) with a retractable hard top that is cool, but beware. The top uses ONE OFF parts (in fact much of the car is ONE OFF parts) and when they break, you will NOT find replacements. Also, the Northstar engine will start pulling the head bolts out of the block at about 80K-90K miles (due to heat cycling) and require an expensive rebuild with helicoils in the block to secure the bolts. This will become evident when you start getting coolant in the oil. GM also made a supercharged version of the car.
Great series on the Ferrari. Unfortunately, 47k miles is a lot of miles for a Ferrari.
You did everything to make that car look fantastic. Why didn't you take the words Flying Wheels off the windshield? Car would look a lot better
Part of it is psychological. He gets lots of attention from his TH-cam stuff and thinks it carries over to the auction. Those ole boys couldn’t care less about his TH-cam stuff and yeah…they have no clue what that fucking sticker is and it’s a negative.
Watching all that water pour into the Ferrari interior.😮 love the car but that was tough.
This series was good for me. If I EVER had an interest in a Ferrari, it's gone now. Yes, it sounds good, but otherwise, what a POS.
They don't know what a ferarri is worth at that auction? I'm pretty sure they do, and the number is not 95k😆😅🤣
They are other dealers with the same apps and information Craig has - they know.
I thought the same thing. There is a very limited clientele for a Ferrari. About the only way I would buy one is if I had a deposit from a buyer. @@GroundedFlyboy737
Of course he knows... he also has that nifty app he was advertising that would have clearly told him and everyone else. He was hoping to find a sucker.
In the video just BEFORE this auction, I commented that at the Dallas Mecum auction a week or so ago, a similar Ferrari sold for $67000. It only had 20K miles. I didn't see Craig's going for more.
he overpaid way too much
2,40,000 miles interesting comma placement 😂😂
Ferrari 360 was selling for $60k last year. It's crazy how high the value jumped in a year.
Yeah but I think he’s still high at 95k, that’s like an 80-85k car all day long.
@@shawnhicks619 ya I am very surprised he paid that much as a 360 with those "mods" and that condition will never go for 90, more like a high 70's- 80's car.
@@shawnhicks619you’re correct. Autotrader/car gurus confirmed that.

why would u destroy the denali? just resell it you can def make a decent profit.
Those are worth around $7K and up in my region with the high mileage.
TH-cam Views. Cutting it up will probably bring in more ad revenue on youtube than flipping the car...
Loved watching this series over the last couple years criag!
Appreciate you getting this video out, Been waiting on it !
Love seeing Papa Al! Need to get your dad and your brother back in the videos soon!
I'm guessing it go to $70K.
“Way better then a Miata” 😂🤣😂 if you want to pay half its value every few years for maintenance.
Craig’s definition of “perfect” 😂
Why buy the 360 privately for too much money and try to flip it at auction, think your ADD is once again driving bad decision making. You will have to sell it privately to another Ferrari nut to get anywhere close to what you paid for it.
Just enjoy it for a bit, but keep it on a battery tender!!!!!!!!
Very shady that you did not include the top issues with the water leaking into the cabin on your checklist for the next unsuspecting buyer.
It’s a Dealer Auction what did you expect? It’s Snake selling to Snake! 😂
@@johnnyallison2275 true 😂
He took it through a car wash. Most soft top convertibles will leak. Lol
Andy is right.
It doesn’t matte, nobody drives a Ferrari anyways, it will sit in a garage with a dead battery for its life.
Glad to find your channel. Seem like a good, honest, straight up dude. Papa Al too! 👍
Great episode as always. Keep up the great work
the 135i has the n54. the supra has the b58, which comes in the newer 40i models. that blue bmw is a m240i.
Need to take that sticker off the windshield. Anyone that watches these videos definitely not paying that much or just staying away from that one. Put the shit box Ferrari videos out after the car sells 😂
You have a good plan, and I can see you actually execute. Thank you!
Love your persistence Craig!
I have liquidated all my toys and extra stuff that I don't need. Do this while there are still some people with money because soon most everyone will be broke.
Thinking about doing the same.
Ditto
The BMW 135i doesn't have the Supra B58 engine but has either the N54 or N55 and neither one of those inline 6 engines are very reliable. Speaking from experience here, by the way.
Raise your hand if you are tired of Ferrari and boat content🤚
“ not a bad way to spend 10k dollars”.
Name the movie
Hey Craig the motor that is in the new supras is the B58 which comes on the 2016ish and newer bmws ending in “40” (240,340,440 etc.)
The 135i is either n54 or n55 depending on year. Go for the b58 for a little more $ that engine is fantastic
Great info , keep it up!
Craig, depending on the year, the 128i, 328i, 528i etc have a 2 liter turbo motor, not a 2.8 liter. The 'N20' version of that motor is known to have issues with the timing chain, timing chain guides, turbo wastegate...fun to drive when they are working, but can be a real money pit.
The 128i in the USA has a 3.0 6 cyl. The N20s were in the 228i, then 230i after the 235i became the 240i with the introduction of the B58.
He is trying to sell at FULL RETAIL, to Dealers at $95k. Dealers want a $15-20k spread, so its $75-80k at a Dealer Auction.
YUP, dealers need to make 15%-20% on used cars, otherwise (as they say at Mecum) the sale goes on !!!!!!!!!!!
I can’t believe you didn’t put on the list only driven on Sundays.
Now I’m excited about the Yukon swap. 👊👍
Wow a right hand drive corvette!! What an amazing unicorn 😂😂😅😅🎉
8:12
5:53 "you have to tuck it a certain way" something you'd normally hear backstage at a drag queen show....what? WHAT? lol
Hold on a dang minute. In the last video you were rushing to get all that paint work done before the auction...
Should have kept saving for a Ferrari that's a 4xx not a 3xx. That's like buying a countach and expecting to work as well as a huracan.
That C4 had the Auto Zone spec. 😂 seriously tho, that was clean. Affordable rwd v8 sports car. A lot of fun for the price.
Its always good to see Papa Al !!
Craig. Take that car to Barrett-Jackson auction, or to California or Florida and try to sale it. Maybe New York, but winter coming in New York. Take it to where the very rich live, and you stand a better chance of making a profit. But, in my opinion, people with money want a deal, cause they want to make money off an investment. I think the car is worth about $85k so anything over that you may want to consider. Considering you have $400 in it. Lol. Hard to sale toys like that, because people with big money will buy new and not used. That's my 2¢
Barrett jackson is filled with a bunch of rich a holes
Those profit margins are terrible paying $12,000 to make around 2500 profit that alone shows why I really don’t care to go back into the car business I used to own a car dealership I’ve since turned it into strictly an RV dealership and honestly the best decision I ever made in my life The profit margins are so much larger
Lol...good move. Sell the rv for massive markups, they fall apart bc of shoddy manufacturing and dealers dont honor warranties. Use covud for parts delays and bogus price increases. You dont lose a thing. Nice.
You obviously didn’t sell enough
@@beebop4333and yes….Rv dealer “warranties” are horrendous…..they should be illegal….
Interesting…if I moved 12.5G’s to a stock this morning and made 2.5G’s profit by end of day…I’d be pretty happy. Guess it’s all relative.
@@niagarajoe4402 sold enough to keep it running for years and made good money but you can’t compare buying pickup trucks for 15 grand and selling them for maybe 20k opposed to someone trading in their water damaged motorhome and I’m giving them Pennies on the dollar because it really ain’t worth nothing in that state and a few days worth of work there’s 10 grand of profit to be made not to mention they sell way faster there’s a billion car dealerships where I’m at there’s only a handful of rv dealerships
Most of us have never even seen a Ferrari on the road let alone owning one. Thanks for taking the pain for all of us while we watch.
That clip of Lil boozie was perfect. Nice one
I am curious on the ceramic coating product you used on the Ferrari? What was the cure time before it could get wet? Thank You
sure the blue bmw wasn't a 135i with m sport package?
Bringing it to the auction and watching the water come through the top was to funny!! Come on Craig you know this car sucks and no one wants it lol. Bringing it to a New England car auction ( I am from Maine) I can tell you these cars are not wanted so he wasted his time even attempting to sell it there. Also word of advise that flying wheels seems like a kid slapped it on there and had to sell his car cause daddy said do lol
Internet expert. Lol
@@andydhillon1977and you sound like a burger king employee that takes a electric scooter to work and your 35 years old 😆😆😆
Took it there clearly for the TH-cam content. No way he thought that thing would sell for 95K. Imagine if you DID buy this thing and then found these videos. Holy hell, I'd be pissed.
If you know, you know, that sounds just like a Traxxas nitro RC car when it started up.
new editing is great!!
That blue C5 is a rare spec. If it was a FRC it'd be a definite buy.
I know 360 values have gone up (kicking myself hard for not snagged at gorgeous yellow one a few years back at 66k when I had the chance)......buuuuut based on the condition and milage of this car, you still overpaid, and will be hard pressed to get 95k for it. At that point your on f430 territory.
You are right. I think I saw one of those for 89k smh
Dude, you are not going to retail that thing at that price. I am legit looking at a 2003 with 25k miles that is going for $106k.
A 03 with 47k miles is going for $87k.
Why are you here.? All you do is complain….every comment you make it b!thing about something……I’m sure you are looking at these cars…..that’s it…..”looking”
Why would a dealer want to buy a car with a big advertisement for another dealer on the windshield? Pretty sure he had no intention of selling it at auction he just wanted to generate interest in his dealership. Odd though that he's published any videos bad mouthing the car before selling it seems this video and others would only diminish value of the car.
great stuff thanks
Why filmed regular and sometimes flipped / reversed? Is this a thing now?
Your Cadillac Allante was designed by Pininfarina, who has designed some of the best looking Ferrari's like the Testarossa
Your comments at the beginning were spot on, in my opinion.
128i is a 3.0L N52 engine.
135i isn't the same engine as a new Supra. New Supra has B58.
2008-2009 135i has N54 turbo. 2010-2013 135i has N55 "bi-turbo."
135s till 2011 we’re the n54 which isn’t in the mk5 supremacy or mk4 it’s the 240i and any 40i in the f chassis that shares the same engine (b58)
not tryna be a weirdo just wanted to say)
The top needs the elastic bands replaced to fold correctly. Not a major issue.
I've had my 08 135i M sport convertible for 5 years and absolutely love it and couldn't imagine parting with it. It is insanely fun to drive and the N54 motor is the most tunable BMW engine, just a little masterpiece.
That engine has a lot of issues.
@@andydhillon1977 not if maintained properly, 90k miles no issues
I'm not a corvette person so I was a little surprised to see multiple right side drivers? Lol
If I ever want to sell my 2005 GMC Sierra I'll be listing it back east since a clean rust-free one is impossible to find.
Did you tell them the $5000 top leaks?
All soft top convertibles leak in a car wash spraying high pressure water. It doesn't mean it leaks under normal circumstances.
You don't remember him driving in the rain and crying about it.
That Yukon also shares parts, engine, & transmission parts with the 08-09 Hummer H2.
Um Craig, question for you, is it OK to pull on damaged portions of vehicles at the auction like you did in this video?
Every single person that sells cars at auctions does it like that.
1984 corvette with an 86 and up back hatch with the 3rd brake light.
1984 Corvette does have the Crossfire Injection engine. It's an absolute dog.
So many right hand drive cars! (Grin)
its a Z8 in james bond movie
You’re brave to bring a convertible into a drive through car wash!! LoL please bring some waterless spray wash next time. It hurts to see a convertible get beat up in there! Coming from a convertible driver myself! Great vid, great way to establish that publicity for yourself and business.
"Brave" is a kind word to use. But you gotta admit, it was entertaining to watch!
OMG I love love that blue 2000 Vette!!
Papa Al looks like me climbing out of my Camaro...like coming through the birth canal again.
😆😆😆 so funny.😂😂😂
Too funny. For me, it was twisting myself out of my Honda S2000 everyday. But damn, it was fun to drive! 🤣
This 360 only retails for $80k at the most. You are also getting hosed every month you hold from extra depreciation on high-end cars especially going into winter. First price is best price. You should have taken the high bid because your dealership is not good for retailing that type of car.
That auction is a New Hampshire institution. Been there!
Let's see:
Timing belts done in 2019, meaning they're over a year maybe going on 2 years passed due (3 yr interval on 8cyl). It's like saying NEW TIRES in 2010, doesn't mean they're new or still good.
Clutch "serviced and tested at 79%", meaning there's less than 20% life on the clutch at best. F1 clutches typically show issues well before 100% wear and the only real way to tell is scan for codes in the NCR and check the wear in millimeters. Most people don't quite understand the clutch wear parameter is exactly as stated (percentage wear), not how much life the clutch has remaining. Also not sure what you mean by "serviced" the clutch. What did they do rebuild the pressure plate? The only thing you can do is bleed it but I wouldn't exactly call that a clutch service.
Spider top elastic straps are worn on the headliner causing the canvas to not fold properly.
Window regulators are worn out causing large gaps on both windows resulting in a free shower at the car wash.
Sucks you overpaid for it but maybe you'll get what you're looking for from an unsuspecting buyer.
I hope he doesn't get that kind of price from an unsuspecting buyer yikes! He owns it so he thinks it's worth a lot lol
8:40 84 Corvette engine is fine. GM used cheap computers to control the twin tbi.
The flairs on that Denali are aftermarket. Take them off because they never came with them.
We miss your dad Craig! When you going to have him on again?
Craig, b58 supra engine is in m240i not 135i. 135i has n54/n55 engine depending on year. N54 is the one that twin turbo.
Interesting outcome.
My 2009 bmw 528i with 260k with original motor runs amazing. That’s the best engine ever made by bmw
Detailer here, the spray car wash will not hurt ur ceramic coating at all. The chemicals they use are not gonna stand a chance against that coating.
The graphics were all over the place this time, kind of funny lol
