These so called car guys , mistaking 68-69 GTO's for 70 , and calling Pontiac "SNOWFLAKES" HONEYCOMB'S, is almost unforgivable.
At least he didn't say "BBS style wheels" lol I've heard that one.
Many of these cars are older than these experts so we get what we pay for ($0)

I used to go to Barrett Jackson every year with a rich car-collector boss. Yes, there are cheap cars. But most of them are pigs with lipstick on them. Cosmetic restorations for suckers. Never go with a checkbook without a good mechanic. My boss finally learned that after a couple of burns. There is a lot of money in selling a beater with nice paint and making a profit. Be careful.

I don't understand why they aren't listing the miles? That's a huge deal on a vehicle. I think I still have a pic on my phone from a BJ auction with a 79 Trans Am with like 7 miles on or it or something ridiculous that sold for $179k. I've dreamed of going to Meecum or BJ and buying my dream car and then driving it home but I really want to be able to drive the car and climb underneath it and have time to really inspect it.
Glad to see you made it to the auction craig it would of been nice to meet you. I only live about ten minutes from the fairgrounds and I love visiting the place for many events throughout the year. This year I didn't pick anything up but last year I snagged a 89 M3 that's I'm still waiting on parts for. Anyway hopefully next time your in town we can meet.

LMAO "P*rn Star Parking." We had that at my high school! You had to pay for parking in the front 2 rows, but they'd sell as many as they could. So buying a parking pass didn't necessarily mean you'd get a spot. I'd pull up at the crack of dawn playing music with my friends eating McDonald's sausage egg and cheese biscuits. 😂
If you're not known to BJ by selling a lot of cars already, you'll get the early positions when there's no bidders there yet.

At least in Scottsdale I found numerous hoses outside some tents to fill a bucket with and dampen a towel. You gotta search around a bit and ask question.

Craig I don’t know if you’re gonna read this but I’m currently 18 working for my dad doing auto body it’s already been 4 months since he started his business he’s teaching me his ways and how he does stuff for car dealership like rust spots and all that anyways he made me fall in love with cars I just love them and I want to learn more about them I started watching your TH-cam and man I fell in love ‘not in the weird way’ you inspired me you really did I have a plan for my future now I’m just so happy that you are sharing everything you do with us not only are you sharing it you are showing me what kind of person you are It’s astonishing to see how nice of a person you are when it comes to mean clients and people I’m just so happy every time I watch your videos I’m always waiting for a new one to come out I’m halfway through your 400$ to a Ferrari playlist and it’s just amazing what you can do with 400$ I’m going to learn how to get my wholesale license and start little and gain enough money and knowledge about cars as I flip them and eventually move to a retail license to do exactly what you are doing thanks again for inspiring me and literally guiding me through everything

Smart money right now would be a 2nd gen clean Bronco at a decent price. Money is sky rocketing on them and they are a super good truck, I've had a few of them and always made money. They only made them for 2 years. A buddy bought one a 78 Free Wheeling a few years ago, nice and clean. He dropped a coyote in it and when done he had a little over $50k in it and sold it for $126 k. Now that truck would pull another $20k easy

Money is on boomer and Gen X nostalgia - 60's and early 70's stuff for the boomers (I graduated high school in 1969...), and late 70's into the 80's for the Gen X gang.......
10:12 What a shame they sold an automatic Citation X-11 in the US. They did not in Mexico. They were all manuals and there are still quite a few nice ones around and for sale right now.
I haven't seen a Citation in many years. I have seen a few X-11s and my mom had the last year the Citation was available(1985 Citation II). It was slow with the iron duke 2.5 but it was a great car. It took all a 17 year old could dish out lol. It's funny he called it a chevette. That thing would've been bad ass with the X-11 package. Also, i always assumed they were all manuals so that was kind of a surprise.
Citation's were junk then, they're junk now. Nothing more than a novelty, and a junk novelty at that.

CTS V !!! Am glad you got rid of a ford to jump on a GM Cadillac CTS V . My son had a 2012 cts v 6.2 6 speed car was amazing but got stolen and was not recovered .

The mileage on these older cars do not matter. They are legally exempt from mileage reporting. Unless the miles age someway other than normal the odometer is irrevelant. A rebuilder could set the odometer to read anything he wants, perfectly legal, totally unverifiable.
That's why miles aren't announced.
While your statement is true “documented” low mileage cars are always well presented and announced at Barrett Jackson. How you do that before it runs across the block I don’t know. Those are mega bucks cars and not a 30k cobra. Maybe you’ve got to make your own presentation on the front end. Learning curve for Craig I guess
