What role at Amazon was this work simulation for? I did one for Program manager role a few months back and that assessment was completely different than this one.
And for customer queries question, the increase in demand should be ranked as not likely because the question is about percentage change in customer queries not absolute change. Orders can keep on increasing or decreasing without affecting % of customer queries.
For the question on taking additional activities from John, why would you not say completing ALL additional requests is not effective. The total for all additional requests is 3.5 hours (which includes 2.5 hours of half impact, half priority activities, except submitting vendor invoices). Previously, it was stated that you can work ONLY 8 hours, which meant that your own assigned activity (full impact, full priority) had to miss 1 hour, working for a total of 3 hours. If all additional 3.5 hr activities are completed, it would mean that you COMPLETELY miss out on your full priority, full impact assigned task. Hence I think the answer should be not effective. If it said some activities (as with some other options) it would be effective.
The question is asking me to rate the effectiveness and importance of his tasks not asking me to prioritize against my own tasks... so the response here is not relative rather absolute..
Yes, but in the context of a question/case that says “we need to deliver in a week”, it would not be in line with “deliver results” Leadership Principle, if you ask for the flexibility of pushing deadlines. In such case where your team leader clearly says it “needs” to be delivered, and offers support (as per the other options) would you not say that knowing/asking for flexibility of pushing back is uneffective and against the guiding principle. The response would change with a change in circumstances.
In upcoming hiring event Q How we decided respond to candidate come first is important then schedule interviews. Bcz schedule interview is directly related to Q. Can you pls throw some light. I am assuming it’s basis chronology or any other reason?
For mandatory training question, I think your ranking was incorrect. The question clearly asks which tasks we will "complete" today. And we can't do the training and complete both the 4 hour tasks. So the ongoing project should be the 4th in rank.

@@dss963 the table is change vs last month so vs last month it’s negative which means it’s getting worse each month but only getting worse by less

Won’t pushing back deadline be seen as negative ?

I do explain that as to how I am scoring them in the video… you disagree to the rationale I share?

It’s not all or none we can certainly do part of the ongoing project let’s say give it 3 hours instead of 4… it doesn’t say it’s all or none…
