Hi Dan finding this video feels like a divine intervention, than you for putting out such an invaluable video. I am preparing myself for the interview for SDE at Amazon and I am trying my best to ace it, but I don't any prior experience in the tech industry, I've never done any internships, but I have some decent personal projects listed on my resume and I've worked as a manager at a supermarket so my question is would talking about my non-tech related experience hold any value while answering these questions or do they only care about tech related experience? Would this hurt my interview in anyway?
Thanks man for the tips! question: should all the responses be in a STAR format? I can not imagine a response of "How do you learn" in this format Thanks again!
Appreciate you keeping up with those , despite as you said a lot of people going to GenAI for answers. One point I wonder why none or almost of these videos focus on Sales roles... it is almost always a PM or a SW engineer focused. I get it that it's based on yours and others background, but Ive must have watched a few dozen clips...and still looking for a Tech Sales role oriented help.
@@greatchiwoods1017 I saw some coaches saying 1 minute but not sure if would make too much sense. If you split correctly 3 minutes would be more than enough then if they gets interested they will ask for more. I believe the most important is to create the rapport and follow the flow consistently.
How did you feel you did during it. I was going for data center - 1st panel was great hardware and behaviorial - 2nd went ok , 3 and 4th were good …. Ill find out the result in 7 days

Any role at aws is a sales role 😉
The production could benefit from a high-quality microphone. Built-in laptop mics rarely produce good quality when it matters.
We need to prepare for my motivation
Thank you so much for this. For th STAR response, how many minutes maximum? Thank you
Something in between 3 minutes, maximum 5. Better to resume and if they are interested they will ask to extend.
@@KONRADSOARES Thank you. You are correct, I had found it was difficult to cramp everything in 1 minute or 1.15 minutes

max I've heard was ~15 minutes
@@DanCroitor thank you
Just had my loop, your questions were very close, but I failed my loop.
Thank you for sharing your experience.
I need to know what question ask for Amazon 😊
I just had my loop. I failed it. But I'm ok with that outcome. The more I learned about the company the more it sounded like a brainwashed cult.
