Tarik is the definition of a nuisance for the enemy team. Always baiting their crosshairs, jumping through smokes, flashing, taking space, being unpredictable. Being a nuisance vs strong aimers gets you killed, but in the time period of being killed you've opened up the line of sight for your team to trade and take action on this. It's a great idea as long as everyone is on the same page on the play of him going out as basically sacrifice for the greater good.
@@-rowdy haha this playstyle definitely does not work for matchmaking pugs. Hope your back gets better!! The closest MD equivalent to a back doctor is probably an orthopedic surgeon that specializes in spine surgery. Either way, the chiro can probably get you feeling better but they don’t have medical degrees so it’s a bit riskier. They probably have a good anatomy understanding but an ortho surgeon would prolly help a lot! But your back seems like it may not need any surgery so they may refer you to a physical therapist or a chiro too haha stay safe Coach Lau! Edit: I should clarify that ortho surgeon may not even do surgery, but they can absolutely determine the severity of the injury and give the next best steps Edit2: my first edit got rid of the launders heart but that’s okay :’]
Barring any major injuries to the spine, going to a PT would definitely help a lot in terms of getting mobility back and reducing pain. Surgery to the back is sort of a last resort (especially at a younger age), so doing all you can with a proper PT can go a long ways in improving quality of life.
A great book on lower back pain is The Back Mechanic by Dr. Stuart McGill. He’s the number one expert on back injuries. There´s alot of stuff him on youtube as well. Check out McGill Big 3 for how to work on core stability!
PT and ortho surgeon is the absolute best you can do. Chiros are more of a waste of moni rather than dangerous. They kind of exist to keep you coming back and paying. Back cracking hasn't really been shown to medically actually do anything.
Coach lau somewhat unrelated Q - Why does Brehze have exactly the same skins as Tarik? Even m4 he has the mibr stickers and I’ve noticed in the past he’ll change when tarik does
Tarik has brought a lot of value to every team he's played on. He really understand what he needs to do in order for his team to be successful. Also it's admirable that he realizes he can't be a star player on this team like he was on C9 or Optic and embraces it

Good to hear about your back 👍keep up the daily big 3 and other strengthening exercises. It takes time to embed new movement patterns and you will likely have good and bad days so don't get disheartened if it takes a little while to fully recover. I'm coming back from a a bulge on my L5 so I know what you're going through! Really enjoyed this video too, very interesting to see how tarik plays as a fellow top die-r / sacrificial lamb on the scoreboard.
Just discovered your channel through my recommended and im surprised how flippin great this content is. Keep it up and i hope your back gets better. Fueling my need for CS content!
For this demo at least, I thought Tarik played a very "selfless" role, hence the high deaths, which almost seemed like a "lurk" role in a lot of cases. On either bombsite take, he'd default lower tunnels which would, in turn, make him either push mid in their B takes or he'd keep control of the rotations on an A take (ordinarily, this did change on a few takes). With the B plays, he's playing the selfless role of taking middle - whilst also controlling the rotations (a key facet of a lurk), whilst the A takes saw a more conventional "lurk" through the middle of the map. Using his grenades early-round is a sign of being dispensible, not wanting to die with extra utility in his pocket. The selfless style is also outlined with the short push against the low-economy buy of D-eagles, as he isn't bothered about getting the kills or being the "flashy" player, he's happy to let others get the kills/taking the limelight. I don't think Tarik is a "lurker" on this EG roster, although I'm only a casual watcher, so without copious amounts of demo watching I wouldn't necessarily know. It was just something I spotted during the video.
A video on Cerq's movement could be really interesting. I feel like his movement style with the awp is what makes him one of the top, if not the top awper in NA.
All the best with your back. As maybe a macro theme for a weeklong comparison you could compare fragging IGL's like nexa, tabsen, apex and gla1ve. The ALEX transfer is the latest example that has shown how unbelievably valuable these kind of players have gotten.

honestly, watching these demo's makes me want to get back into the game, after realising that the UK scene really was unlikely to move anywhere I left it and moved on to siege since it had a much better structure and there's a lot more opportunities for UK players to make it to a higher level compared to CS, but now seeing endpoint in top 30, a younger UK player in mezii be given a shot at the top etc it's intriguing to watch it all go on but makes me want to come back to the game I still enjoy on the odd occasion I play
The thing about tariks DPR stat is that in most of his deaths, hes going for a minimum risk, high reward play. It never feels like his deaths lose EG rounds. He is just a nuisance for the other team to deal with at all times.
