I have HP EliteDesk 800 G1 SFF (i5-4670, GTX 1050Ti LP, 4x4GB Corsair Vengance ram, 240GB ssd, 512GB hdd) - its amazing how good it is. The combo i5-4670/1050Ti gives under 2% bottleneck in all scenarios.
Damn tell me how I legit bought one of these as a whim on eBay for $50 bucks and apparently a ton of people are upgrading them a ton here on TH-cam thanks for the video it helps A ton
Yes I was surprised at the price when I got mine. Especially being able to upgrade it to the point where it’s a decent machine. Thanks for tuning in I appreciate it!!!!!
I got this for 20 bucks with out hard drive i5 2400 4GB ddr3 1333mhz I have spare parts I'll up to 12Gb 1333mhz And a GTX 745 OEM Lastly got a 256 SSD and I'll put additional 500 HDD Repaste with a Thermo Grizzly? Im thinking of getting a gpu for this… either the rx550lp or the rx6400lp but im not sure which one would be good… I know the pc only supports pcie gen 3.0 so im a little hesitant on getting the rx6400. Was also considering the gtx 1060lp but they seem even more expensive (i refuse to buy from ebay 😂 so i stick with amazon) I have the i5-4570 240w version so some ram, ssd, and gpu upgrades hopefully won’t kill the psu.

I had several cringe moments when you were fooling around with the CPU lol Like a bull in a china shop :) I heard it scraping the pins of the mobo. Did it work in the end?
lol yes everything worked out. If this was back in the day when chips actually had the tiny pins I’d be screwed but now it’s really hard to damage the cpu chips.

We are getting to a point in tech where older machines can still perform well enough to get by .

E3-1265L v3 does work with these and can be picked up for cheap. As for a GPU I would probably go for a RX 6300/Radeon PRO W6300.

Dont know prices but 4GB vram will be better if you play games.
I actually just popped a Nvidia Quadro K1200 into one of these without upgrading anything else, and it runs games very well.
