Yes this tv can play 4K uhd at 120 fps with ps5 or Xbox series x you’ll need a high speed hdmi cable 2.1 and go tv setting- hdmi format then variable refresh rate also have tv in game mode to enable auto low latency mode and VRR the game also has to be enhanced to achieve 4K @ 120 , you’ll have to use hdmi port 3 or 4 , if u have a sound bar or sound system that has hdmi arc you’ll need to put that on hdmi 3 and your gaming console on hdmi 4 😎

A 50 would barely fit but I didn’t wanna spend the extra money on the 50. The tv is nice and light. Also. To pack up. I can do it myself. It works great for my ps5. Playing spiderman 2 looks amazing. My cousin as the a90k 42 for his pc setup and it’s quite dim. And the a90k is quite heavy compared to this. And for half the price of a c3 or a90k this isn’t a bad pick up. @@Sa-Shogunn Both. There's an update from April 12th 2023 on SONY's site. Try from the TV first tho! Btw, i have a tiny question, since i'm looking to upgrade my 32" SONY BRAVIA TV to this one. The X85K is said to have "Native 100-120hz" refresh rate. If you disable any kind of Motion Flow on TV channels and console (if you have one), does a movie still runs at 24p/30FPS (Like in cinemas, like how it should be played)?... Or does it goes "a bit too much soft and faster" (close to 60FPS), ending up with a weird motion between fast action and slow objects? (It's... A bit difficult to explain, sorry) I tend to disable Motion Flow on setup because watching a movie with it on makes many things go soft and smooth while other elements , like the scenario or items, has a different motion speed (Slower, stuttering, leaving ghost traces behind...)
Just got the tv (43”), but when playing on my PS5 the picture quality seems to be overall dimmer and duller in quality. And it won’t let me change it in quick settings, telling me the feature is unavailable.

I recently bought one of these for my PS5. It's great so far, but when playing games I've noticed that black parts of the screen sometimes look pixelated or blocky. Is this an HDR issue? Is there a way to fix it? Also, having the HDMI cord plugged into the port that supports ARC won’t negatively affect the sound qaulity if I'm not using a soundbar, right? I mostly use headphones anyway (that work through my console, not the TV), so I would think it would be fine, but I just want to make sure. Also, if you ever have to unplug the HDMI cord for the PS5 and plug it back in, will it configure itself to the console again? Or will it undo those settings? If it's the latter, how do you configure the settings for the console?
@@DVTHEFOX Yes! I think it may have just been an issue with the game itself, as the other games I've played don't have the same problem and actually look great.

I'm asking this coz with the same content above (Specially movies) i must disable Motion Flow on my (slightly screen broken) 32" SONY BRAVIA TV so that their FPS is exactly just like it should be (Like in the cinema, etc..) and i'm worried that the native 100-120hz would kill the framerate on such contents ,even without Motion Fow
@@DVTHEFOX I'm probably not the right person to ask about this, if I'm being honest! I don't know much about TVs and mine is used specifically for my PS5. I don't really watch any movies or shows with it, so I can't really give a confident answer. If I had to guess, I think it would be at the intended framerate, but the movement would look sharper. I'm not entirely sure how much the refresh rate affects TV shows or movies, though. The only thing I know is that it makes my games more responsive. To be honest, I don't know how much I would recommend this TV if you plan on watching broadcasts with it. When I went to the store to pick one out, I specified that the TV would be used for gaming only. Some TVs are superior when you want one for gaming, and others are far better for watching shows or movies. This one in particular is fantastic when it comes to gaming, but I'm not sure how it is with broadcasting.

For movies and shows yes. For games I would roll with the x85k even if the price didnt matter. HDR brightness of the TV in games is strong, the contrast is good enough. The local dimming if x90 comes with flicker and blooming, in 4k120 its a less calm picture

Does it have Full Array Dimming? And can it play on 4k 120 and 1k 240?
It's direct lit, not full array and yes it can run up to 4k 120 but not 240, 120 is the max
so i am a budget buyer for sure. for a bit of netflix and pc gaming the 43'TCL c645 with the local prices stands out and comes with 3yrs warranty. 600au
the Sony 43'x85k is the cheapest 120hz capable tv locally (not sure about comparably priced monitors). but comes with 12mths (also ebay sony aus direct refurb is available). 719/1000au
I get that warranty is only good if it's upheld, but i would have thought brands like sony would back their product with more warranty.
so as a noob in this it makes me ask what is the life expectancy of these products vs the warranty behind them.
Can someone plz tell about the viewing angle..they say the viewing angle is quite narrow..I want to buy this...someone clear this out..plz reply
Is this capable of playing at 120FPS and 4k simultaneously for PS5?
There's no game out there in the PS5 with 120hz and 4k at the same time bud.
Yes this tv can play 4K uhd at 120 fps with ps5 or Xbox series x you’ll need a high speed hdmi cable 2.1 and go tv setting- hdmi format then variable refresh rate also have tv in game mode to enable auto low latency mode and VRR the game also has to be enhanced to achieve 4K @ 120 , you’ll have to use hdmi port 3 or 4 , if u have a sound bar or sound system that has hdmi arc you’ll need to put that on hdmi 3 and your gaming console on hdmi 4 😎

yes i was able to switch on and off without pointing the remote on screen .. As for image control yes you get certain functions at the settings which i haven't tried yet plus not really arsed to do it lol... overall tv is great but the newer models have better hardware and quality with almost the same price .. I have the 43 model. It really should be atleast 450$ to compete in the market. Only reason I got the 43 is that I travel every few months and it’s easy to pack in the box and put it in the back seat of my truck. TCL needs to put 120hz in a 43” model

(It's... A bit difficult to explain, sorry)
I tend to disable Motion Flow on setup because watching a movie with it on makes many things go soft and smooth while other elements , like the scenario or items, has a different motion speed (Slower, stuttering, leaving ghost traces behind...)
witch hdmi port is for 2.1
HDMI 3 & 4 slots
3&4
Just got the tv (43”), but when playing on my PS5 the picture quality seems to be overall dimmer and duller in quality. And it won’t let me change it in quick settings, telling me the feature is unavailable.
That's become the picture is on game mode, i would recommend more colour as that does make it look better, 60 or so looks much better on the colour, maybe higher if you want.
Kinda late but try looking to turn off the Power Saving mode.

Hello, do you know if there is a setting called "Display area" in the picture and sound settings of the sony x85k tv?? What is the purpose of keeping the image from being cropped
Did you got it fixed?
@@DVTHEFOX Yes! I think it may have just been an issue with the game itself, as the other games I've played don't have the same problem and actually look great.
@@blueflare3848 Good to know!. I wanted to ask something since ya own the TV for some time (I'm interested in it)
So for any kind of content, be it a BluRay disc (24-30FPS), a TV contest show or soccer match at 60FPS (It's a pre-recorded show/ live broadcasted soccer match at 60FPS , atleast in/for Spain), or a TV Series (24/30FPS), the image will still move at it's original intended framerate, only that it will look slightly better in details while not looking smoother/faster than it's original framerate, thanks to the native 100-120hz refresh rate?
@@blueflare3848 Alright. Do you have the 4 corners of the TV with slightly darker bits?

the X90K and x95k are much better.
The smooth gradation, full array, better chip processor, and brighter highlights makes these models much better.
Well sure they are, but what about someone who can't afford it and prefers a 43" version like the vid above?...
Duh but way more expensive😑
For movies and shows yes. For games I would roll with the x85k even if the price didnt matter. HDR brightness of the TV in games is strong, the contrast is good enough. The local dimming if x90 comes with flicker and blooming, in 4k120 its a less calm picture
Can the feet of the tv be positioned to a more centered position, allowing it to fit on a smaller TV stand?
I’m seeing on reviews when using the ps5 for full 120 hz support the res drops down to 1080p. Is this true?
No that is only if u turn on Dolby vision if u don’t you can get 4k 120hz
There are currently no ps5 games that run 4k 120hz it's either 1080p 120hz or 4k 60
someone test this tv in practise? and it can run 4k 120 hz without resulution reduction?
lot of people say that it cant run 120 hz properly in any resulution..
and it reduction resulution, doesn't show correctly (properly) 120 hz in any resulution.
and runs only 60 hz in any resulution.

It runs it just cuts the vertical resolution and things become blurry. They updated a sharpening tool but it's still not great. You need a model with XR chip for the real deal
