Took me a week, but finally got my laptime down to a consistent 1:47-1:48 in the older lambo, thank you. I'm quite new to ACC so it's a bit of a learning curve.
Haha and I was out there learning Paul Ricard to get my license. I am new to LFM, didn't knowlicense tracks change as well. But nothing lost, I still got to learn Paul Ricard decently so it will come in handy one day. Off to Hungaroring!
you will soon find that there are no easy tracks when you want to go fast. hungaro is special in the sense that most corners are indeed several corners combined, so a mistake in one leads to a mistake in another and the compounded time loss might turn out bigger. bit these exist in paul ricard and virtually any other track too.
I really liked the ghost file in the Paul Ricard one you did. It's helpful to watch what the ghost car is doing for a newbie trying to get the timing, etc. It's a little disappointing not to have a ghost file in this one but I understand it's not the normal.
I'll see if I find the time and add it! the problem really is just that I forget to turn the ghost car on, cause its very distracting for me during my normal practice, so i turn it off
Im glad that i have made license at Paul Ricard instead of hunagro. I feel like this explanation is for yourself, cause everybody rides different. Especially rookies
@@SimracingPopometer I think he just wants to say that the Rookies or whatever aren't that much into Data and theyre driving how it feels comfortable for them. Of course this is pretty nice and detailed but I think for newcomers it may be a bit confusing although I think you explqined everything really well.
mhm. but just giving people brake markers and "outside inside outside" is just not helping, because they cannot replicate it with their still inadequate inputs. it needs the detail, because thats where the actual difference lies.
@@SimracingPopometer yeah exactly. They can watch 10 minutes "track guides" which only shows the lines and brake markers. If you want to be really fast, detailed track guide helps lot more
Everyone makes track guides (for new players) with braking points etc. But when you are 1-2 secs off you literally cannot find a better youtuber than niels and there is a reason for that - he is one of the best racers with perfect undestanding and very good at explaining the smallest of details. Thank you Niels!
Does someone has a ghost file that goes like 1:47:xx? At Popometer in only find super fast ones that dont help me right now as I am a beginner. My fastest lap after like 2 hours was a 1:50. Gonna watch the guide now. Thanks Nils!
a nice setup for the license is a bit different that a setup to win a pro event. and i dont know the car well, so it would require too much time. just not possible to try anything else than bmw
Thank you for this detailed explanations. My ACC exp is around 40h and hungaroring best was 1:47.8xx with the 296er. I tried the free LFM AMG setup and want to know if you are driving it in your video. Cause with TC lower than 6 I can't accelerate like you in the video without getting a lot of oversteer and lose time cause I have to catch the car.
yes, exact same setup. your car is not in the correct position and state if you cant put the power down. its not down to the setup. you still have 5900 hours less than I have in this game. and I surely have another 20.000 hours in simracing since i started. it takes time
I am taking a look at your telemetry on the popometer webapp but I cant see the slowest point and apex track marks, has the feature been removed or is a bug?
Took me 3 days to watch this .... and my biggest bad habit is I'm harsh on my inputs... throttle and brake ... I'm on a logitech g920... my fastest lap is a .48.9
Can someone explain me how to open the settings, because always comes out some text, like code when you programming something. I know it’s a stupid question but I need to ask 😂
@@SimracingPopometer Thanks for letting me know i traines Paul Ricard hard to get the license ! Might do it this week end 😁. Just need to get that SR up to 80 😇

yeah, you'll need it sooner or later and principles carry over anyway
Hugaro is very technical one. It’s fun I must say, but Paul ricard is way easier
@@sidyk You think so? I always saw Paul Ricard as a technical track. But oh well, if I want to be a good simracer, I can't be scared of any track.

you put them in the games documents folder :
users/username/documents/acc/setups...
then the game will be able to read them in the pits.

Ist sicherlich ein tolles Video und auch sehr gut erklärt, aber ich gehöre wohl zu der Minderheit in Deutschland, die nur deutsch versteht. Leider!!!
