Actually they have the beach there in vigan city if you asked the locals they tells you where is it the beach
@@ireneobal9886 tomorrow's episode I go to the beach, at the time from launching the drone I couldn't see any ocean
Suggestions: You can try to travel up north Luzon. You can check the Boracay of the North ... The Anguib Beach Sta. Ana Cagayan. It cheaper there, not like Boracay. Callao Cave. Then you can check Batanes Island. You can check online these places .
Sir in Baguio too is beautiful city you can meet traditional Igorot people wearing their traditional cloths
At last there's a foreign blogger who cares and exerts efforts to feature Vigan. I hope you continue to present more videos about your adventure/s in the Ilocos Region, sure you will not regret visiting Ilocos Region. Enjoy and stay safe and healthy. Thank you and God bless you
Actually marami na rin pong foreign vloggers na nagfeature sa Vigan. :)
Handsome Ilocanos & captivating Ilocanas💜 Thanks to Michael for this more peaceful, serene presentation of Vigan ilocos Sur. The more touristy presentations I’ve viewed (such as from 👸🏻Miss Universe pageants, they frequently do the side trips to Vigan for 📸photo shoots 😄) & official tourism departments, haven’t had this …atmospheric quality. Though they presented the area well. I just appreciate M’s take.
Blogging is not caring. Putting down roots and supporting Philippines is caring.
@@lukealston996 sorry we don't share same opinion on the definition of caring. Caring has a variety of meanings depending on the minds of the person.
Thanks for showing Vigan. I can't believe how much it looks like Italy Spain or Mexico. Looking forward to moving to Philippines next year and checking this place out too.
This place similar to many Mexican colonial pueblos, it's not a coincidence since many Mexican families emigrated here and built the town alongside Spaniards and Filipinos.
Yes mama ut so beautiful place my landmark and try to go to hannahs beach resort pagudpud ilocos norte . You can enjoy the beach..
It cant possibly look like Spain or Mexico. 😂😂😂😂😂
Philippines just keeps on giving. Looks awesome
This is one of my favorite vlogs about the Philippines. Your shot of Vigan at night at the end with the Spanish guitar is such a beautiful scene. I've taken a clip of it, and shared it with my friends pm or group chat. I hope you don't mind. 🙂
My hometown, thank you for featuring Vigan. ❤
I'm from there (currently living in CA). It's a magical place!
Your right Michael, northern Luzon doesn't get the tourist attention like it's southern counterparts. I've never heard of this place but thanks to you, their tourism may just go up. Thanks for sharing such a lovely place called Vigan
The North was a real treasure
That's make it even more charming. I wouldn't exchange the greatness of Northern Luzon to the beaches of Visayas. You know what the other white vlogger named Good Samaritan visited Vigan in 2022 I guess and outside of the city proper there's a very beautiful place I couldn't remember the name though.
Ilocos Sur is quite exposed when it comes to tourism and all, Ilocos Norte isn't that exposed, however Ilocos Norte is the Balikabayan Province of the Philippines. And the best part of the north is that the cost of living is very low, from rent to almost everything. As per safety, it is one of the safest and cleanest province in the whole country
It already featired nin international tv. Vigan city is a 7wonders of the world. Our landmark my plac eit realy beautifu. Try also in the landmark of ou r prisedent bongbong marcos the pagidpud ilocos nortw so many spanish house therw too and the hannah beach hotel resort ppagudpud the bluelagoon beach.. so beautiful fresh seafoods and nice place.
Bucket list for me! Beautiful, informative coverage, Mike! I like!😢
Glad you enjoy vigan me and my wife we love 20 minutes from vigan and love to visit
The Philippinos make it a great country -i live in Vancouver B.C Canada and have only ever met the nicest Philippinos .
Here in the Philippines you can fall in love every hour. So many beautiful women
I know I got my baguio beauty. We've been married 23 years now
🤭🤭🤭
Beautiful city indeed that does have a beach just a short walk away!
ohlala..thank you for your vlog I see places on my country that its hard for me to go. we've plan to go there last December on our vacation but too much not enough time. .. maybe someday.. NICE! enjoy and be healthy and safe on your stayvacayvlogging in my country..
Go to Baguio city, and youll be pleasantly AMAZED!! It's where my grandparents and my mom grew up. ❤️
Next destination after Vigan :)
Baguio City was one of my favorite places to visit. I’m putting Vigan on my bucket list for my next visit.
True! I’m from there, (I’m in the US right now) but Baguio is very beautiful. The only thing I don’t like is the heavy traffic (very populated- and many tourists from the low lands)
I've been here 7 years and still have not visited, although it's always been my intention .still is my intention.
Congested na ang Baguio. ang daming shanties sa bungad papasok ng Baguio city from naguilian at marcos hiway, walang urban planning.
I've never even heard of this town! Thank you for sharing that looks incredible!
The Philippines probably had the most beautiful city in all of Asia before the war. After the war everything was in ruins.
This is one of my bucket list. I envy you both.
Another amazing video Michael strange how things work out your life change has seemingly pushed your vlogging to a whole new level you are definitely at the top end of vloggers in the Philippines.
Thanks so much!
Really nice setting. Love the people you meet. Carefree traveling sounds great.
Very well done!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Greetings from Redondo Beach CA 🇺🇸. Nice video. Mabuhay to all in Vigan 🇵🇭
That street where you bought the t shirts has no electrical or telephone wires. It looks very neat that way. Wish that all streets in the Philippines are like that.
💯 Agree! ... Also, the real walking streets with no vehicles are awesome. ... Did you try the KALESA, Michael? I hope you did. They're roomier than the trikes, right?
As if you're in Havana,Cuba, Hasta la Vista amigo!
I love Vigan. Reminds me of Cuba before it's downturn. Vigan is in the northern part of the Philippines which gets less tourists. Most western tourists want to go to beaches, which the north is not famous for.
we got lots of tourists here in the north esp in La Union.
You do a great job of editing your videos... but, it would be super helpful to show on a map at the beginning where you are filming.
Beautiful college girls you interviewed !!!
Finally a different type of town.. Well I just put this beauty on my bucket list when I retire in the Phils. I will pile on with your drone footage being great at the end. Great job Michael! -=Efrain=-
Thanks so much, I really love how the Philippines has so many different experiences (just wait for Baguio vids soon)
GOOD VIDEO 😊.
Keep the video's comin.
My favorite hotel in Vigan was Cordillera Inn where i used to stay when on vacation when i was still working in Iloilo City.
Thanks for sharing. I would 🎉like to see Vigan.
Stunning destination 👍
wow... breathtaking.. VIGAN City is so beautiful! thanks for sharing! :)))))
Wow! 😍 Beautiful and I can't believe its in Asia
Mike im loving this blog. I love the atmosphere especially cobblestone streets😊
Beautiful vlog. Thanks for sharing
Beautiful editing at the end with music. Good job, did it justice 👏. And you seemed to have enjoyed the beers 🍻
Will stay in your hotel - when I go to Vigan - good review/video -
You gave justice in showcasing this city. I was there for four years back then with my college. We used to ride in "kalesa" carriage with my college mates who are residents of that place and we roamed around the city
I considered my second home. Enjoy your stay .crisologo street is always busy days and nights. ❤
13 years I have been visiting the Philippines why have I never heard of this beautiful little city?
Find time to visit and enjoy the vintage and Hispanic designs of houses and buildings ..enjoy and have a good day.
@ChateauFerminQuinto-ez2vt thank you. It looks absolutely amazingly beautiful. Are you from there ?
@@rsc68er yeah ..from Candon city Ilocos Sur ..and I studied college at university of Northern Philippines Vigan city. Back then. From Candon city to vigan it's a two hours drive ..
It's in ilocos, up north.
This belongs to 7 Wonders cities of the world. ❤
I'm sure I'll add more to this comment but... just saw the drone flyover of your hotel, and once more - PERFECT choice of music .
You really capture the essence of being there. You my friend, have a gift.
Drone has been fabulous to have one again, thanks to @Frank&Fel
@@ThatPhilippinesLife for certain, kind and generous people
You always carry that 'positive vibe' whereever you go, that is why I love watching your vlog...
Thank U for showing and sharing those beautiful ancient built houses Only in vigani it's really amazing,,,enjoy
I don’t think it’s ancient but colonial since it’s been built during the Spanish colonization. You will not see any ancient houses in the Philippines ‘cause they’re not made of concrete, stones or mud
Thanks for this video, cant wait to explore Vigan. ❤❤❤
Very beautiful place ❤
Hi Mike. We have stayed at that place too. We were satisfied with everything at the time. Take care.
it's good to see you're getting to explore more of the Philippines.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Wow. Just saw the drone work at the end, drifting through the peaceful streets to a soothing melody. I could put that on loop and drift off to sleep ! If you have an extended , (5 or 10 minute version of that) I know it would be a hit. Just magical.
the pub looked like an ideal place to hang out with friends, as you did. Lots of cool shops to explore. thank you for taking us along !
Thanks brother
Im from Vigan. I havent been there since 2005 and can't wait to visit again. It's so amazing. 😊
More Fun in the Philippines. Thanks to your Vlog. 🎉❤😊
Love to visit there. Thank you for sharing it.
History: You will know it is an old city/ municipal in the Philippines when you see a plaza (or town square) in between a cathedral and the capitol/ municipal government buildings. It was designed naturally to keep the balance and separate power between the church and the states. It was designed during the Spanish era to make sure that the church won't influence the government's works and vice versa, however, the two power must be nearby to make sure that the ruling of the government will always be based with the spiritual guidance of the Church. Before, when the Spaniards introduced Christianity (conquered the Philippines) the church or the friers always intervenes in the policy and rules of the state and because of this, the Filipino leaders and officials make it sure that it will never ever happen again by putting a town square or a plaza in between both powers.❤ Enjoy your stay in our beloved Philippines.🇵🇭👍🙏
Thanks!❤❤❤
Amazing! Like taking a trip back in time to renaissance Spain. What a great getaway. Looking forward to visiting
My wife and I were there in Vigan last july, we stayed in that same exact hotel. Vigan is really a nice place to visit.
That place is amazing🤔
This place looks amazing thank you brother for the video
You should buy a lot of business cards with all your social media links on it.
Then hand them out as you go. That will grow your following real fast. 😉
Awesome video. Happy weekend.
❤❤❤ thanks for the video😊😊😊.
You should check out the boracay of the north in Pagudpod Ilocos Norte, Saud beach its not as crowded as boracay with same crystal clear waters, calm waves relaxing and white sands but not as white as boracay but still breathtaking and the sunset spots are one of the best in PH on a clear weather.
Your vlog episodes always put a smile on my face esp after a long day at work. I see Vigan hasn't lost its charm. Seems like a lifetime since I was last there. Lots more to see up north, Mike, a whole new world up there esp in the Cordilleras. Keep going, mate, and stay safe. 👌
Best Vigan experience 👍
really nice video, I have had my eye on Vigan as a place to visit
That is an amazing looking town
Omg, that town is so beautiful. The drone shots make a difference. Have you ever thought about adding a microphone, sometimes the audio when the city is very busy it's hard to hear. But great job. Love the videos.
Wow it’s my dream to go on places like this. Thank you for featuring this👏🏻☕️saw ur other vlog yesterday it was amazing
Keep travelling we will follow !
Nice visit. Loved the drone fly at the end.
And the guitar. Just elegant.
Watching your walk around the city streets are kept in great shape and I saw overall everything is clean, very surprising and a well deserved shoutout to the city government..😊
19:32 Nice shot. Vigan is very nice. thank you for showing us, Michael....Jim
Nice hotel, thanks for the tour,,😊😊
Fantastic and insightful video pal. On the strength of yours and other people's videos, I'm half tempted to sell everything in the UK and move/retire to either Thailand or The Philippines. Been to both countless times and still can't decide on which I prefer.🤔
When I was a kid, it was the Vigan tapa with fried eggs i wanted for breakfast. The last restaurant on the right before the parking lot in the end has tapa.
Beautiful place
Seeing you doing videos of the place Vigan-- we are going to pay a visit there for sure.❤
Visit Las Casas de Acuzar in Bagac, Bataan. Historical place too.
BEAUTIFULL VLOG!!! KEEP IT UP!😅😅😅
very beautiful place
nice place and very clean.
My wife is from Vigan and she belongs to a prominent family with ties to the governor of vigan and her family has a restaurant called tessies that's been in Vigan over 70 years and she has connections everywhere in vigan
tapos?
wala naman nagtatanong
Obviously your a nobody who doesn't know anybody 😂😂😂
Do you have toilet paper?
My wife is vegan & she has ties with meat haters everywhere & her family owns a 70 year old vegan restaurant! Lol.
A beautiful town!
Beautiful 😍
Love the old world charm. As a solo traveler, this place reminds me of those small towns and villages in Europe and Mexico (minus the tourists) that inspires me to keep traveling. So glad you went when there was less crowd so I got to appreciate and enjoy your vlog. Didn’t seem rushed at all. Evening scenes were fantastic! Thanks😊
Thanks!
Really appreciate this thank you
They do have a black sand beach named Mindoro Beach. Compared to most other Philippines cities, it seems like you can more easily and safely walk around the city. Very cool place!
The North is beautiful white sandy beaches, rolling hills, mountain views from Pangasinan, La Union, Ilocos Regions, Cagayan Valley paddy fields, corn fields, Baguio , Cordillera Mountains, Spring wates falls and Lakes, Nueva Vizcaya From Eastern and Western Luzon Newly built high ways up hills and to the top etc. There are many nice places where people are not talking about it. Better Roads and Transportation than in the South of Philippines
Amazing city. I was there a few years ago. Loved it, especially at night! Beautiful.
Never seen so many 2 people around people ar beautiful n happy watching fr NewZealand Auckland ❤
I subscribed already brother 😊
This town is gorgeous,your right❤
Nicely Done Mike!
Spain is also surprisingly affordable housing, Everyone just left, No money there, So younger generations just left, Now all old people, I tell you Spanish Architecture speaks loudly to me, Love the old Rock buildings, God Bless
The last clip at night with the guitar playing did it for me! It is a movie shot right out of Evita!
Good job, amigo! Bravo!
My family is from Iloilo, never been to Vigan. Currently in the U.S. for 41 years. Thank you for your travel vlog. Vigan seems beautiful & really vintage.
Reminds me of the cobble stone streets when I was in Spain n Portugal! Amazing!!
Thanks for showing Vigan, never been there, looks like Europe, pretty amazing
YOu are right about the Earthquake. The July 2022 magnitude 7 earthquake damaged almost every old building there. I'm from that small city by the way. Beautiful tiny city... the only thing I can't endure is the summer heat. specially in March to July. It will cook you from the inside out.
Wow, pretty place .. So far north ..
Thank you for visiting our hometown! ❤vigan
Looks like a great place. The building look awesome and think if they were all refaced and painted would look even better. Might be a bit pricy for me but would be worth the trip.
