No searching isn't free in Spain and other countries are not for free nor was it for they have to pay there self's and raised money for searches and getting family over to help aswell for food and accommodation then get lad home dead or alive but I think it's very bizarre vanishing face of earth.
The two men have been interviewed and cleared by the Spanish police along with the owner of the Air B&B. They have no obligation to talk to anyone else. There seems to be an implication that the the Local police are 'Johnny foreigners' so they cannot be competent and this has to be investigated buy Knacker of the Yard or in this case a UK celebrity PI. He may be a good detective but he has no authority to act in an official capacity even though apparently 'employed' by the Slater family. Mark Williams Thomas isn’t the police, he cannot compel or force anyone to speak to him, he has no more legal clout than you or I do. The two men are witnesses, the police both Spainish and British police have their details and that is good enough. Mark doesn’t have to be provided with any information regards this case as he is not police and he has no legal power to compel anyone to speak to him. The two men are fully cooperating with police and have been interviewed, they have no duty to speak to anyone other than the police which they have done.
There can only be 2 reasons he went back to this apartment at that time. D or S. At least the 2 guys he went with can be clear about his state of mind when he left them if nothing more. The British Police have no jurisdiction in Tenerife so at the moment this guy is about the best placed to put pressure on British resident witnesses to speak up.
Ask everyone involved to do a polygraph test and use some of the money for a private investigator from the UK. The polygraph test will give you some answers...

I've actually never heard of this man and I watch a lot of true crime. I don't get why police didn't take sniffer dog to Airbnb and pick up a scent. If he was walking wrong way dogs would have continued or stopped at location where they couldn't pick up scent. This boys clothes passport and money were still in his room so there was plenty stuff to gain scent they haven't dealt with this properly from beginning and embarrassment would be very critical

What makes you think they need to come forward to a television journalist who has absolutely no legal power or legal authority to question anyone ! Mark Williams Thomas isn’t the police, he cannot compel or force anyone to speak to him, he has no more legal clout than you or I do. The two men are witnesses, the police both Spainish and British police have their details and that is good enough. Mark doesn’t have to be provided with any information regards this case as he is not police and he has no legal power to compel anyone to speak to him. The two men are fully cooperating with police and have been interviewed, they have no duty to speak to anyone other than the police which they have done.
There can only be 2 reasons he went back to this apartment at that time. D or S. At least the 2 guys he went with can be clear about his state of mind when he left them if nothing more. The British Police have no jurisdiction in Tenerife so at the moment this guy is about the best placed to put pressure on British resident witnesses to speak up.

I haven't read all the comments so this may have been covered. But after a drunken night out I'm sure lots of people go to people's houses they don't really know to carry on partying. I've done it myself many moons ago. If the lady at the rental saw him in the morning asking for the bus times and walking off , he was no longer with them lads who were probably crashed out until much later in the day , so I don't really see that they have anything to do with this .
