- DESCRIPTIONS of the two mystery men who partied with Jay Slater the night before he vanished have been revealed.
Investigator Mark Williams-Thomas claimed the men are “key witnesses” after Jay, 19, is believed to have stayed with them at an Airbnb cottage in Tenerife.

Surely the identities of the "two men" can be found out through airbnb, the car hire firm, and the Police who interviewed them before they left the country and presumably photocopied their passports.
Absolutely, but the car hire firm and the Air B&B have absolutely no obligation to provide those details to this man because this man here is not the police. This guy here isn’t anything other than a television investigator, he has no legal business questioning anyone especially not witnesses whom have already been cleared by police. He has zero legal capacity or authority to do anything ! And the two men have no legal duty to speak to him either, their only obligation is to cooperate and speak to the police which they have done.
If only there was person with a background in "investigation" or crime "detection" like a "Detective" that could investigate these things.

Why did the people who drove jay drive him away and not take him back, and why did they let Jay walk away as i heard it was about 30 miles on his own. Something badly wrong.
There was a post when he first went missing, apparently from one of the guys from the BnB which was deleted. It had said he had tried to steal a Rolex from them, so they told him to leave. Wether or not this is true I don't know, absolutely everything we're hearing is all speculation.

@@Storm-xx4buexactly, the police have stated that the two men, were fully cooperative, they were questioned and cleared to go back home to the U.K. The police have their details if the need to contact them again and the two men have stated they will happily speak to the police again if need be. This guy here is not the police, he has absolutely no legal clout or legal authority to do anything ! Equally the two men have no legal obligation to speak to him either ! The only people any witness has to speak to is the police. If this bozo starts releasing photos of witnesses, (witnesses whom have already been cleared by police) then he will land himself a huge lawsuit for harassment and doxing.

The family stated they are not getting much communication from Spanish police, now, they will get even less as any feedback will be passed onto this investigator to pass it on to the public. Who was the american women that drove lucy up the mountains to look for Jay?
Was the American woman present when lucy apparently found the air bnb & knocked on the door where she was greeted by the 2 unknown men?
Why did lucy have her back to the camera in the media interview?
Why did the old lady that claims to have talked to jay that morning about bus times also have her back to the camera?
Was it out of fear due to knowing who might have dealt with Jay?
Why did jays dad keep walking away from the camera on his interview leaving us feeling like the questions got too hot for him to handle? Especially when the media only asked "do you think the british police should be out here" he walked away straight away. What was so difficult about that question?
Why did jays mother say in her interview that if someone has jay just let him go? Why would your mind go to kidnap instead of the most likely answer which would be accident/collapsed or even lost up the mountain due to being intoxicated?

Back from the place he went missing I went to have a look. The cafe he was seen the bus stop is a 5 min walk down the way he would of been told to walk. It’d a road and a path. There are big stones put there to stop cars potentially falling off the edge. There is very little chance he fell off the edge, very very unlikely. Unless he jumped. Going up there tonight has just confirmed to me he’s been taken.

I'm sure these guys have spoken to police.. But it would be decent of them to come forward of their own accord to prevent speculation.. And give their accounts. Because ultimately the media will find them, and make up all sorts. It's all so strange.

That’s what the English do… just like in the case of Madeline Mcaine in Portugal. They rejected the help as they have something like us called secret of justice that we don’t give the media what’s happening so the guilty don’t get away and know what is the police investigating.

You might like to try the airport Passport office or a local dignatory who is related to the lady that saw Jay at the AirB& Bplus that man was serving time of 12 tears for related money laundering, etc...He was charged in July 2021 but is not in jail.

It is perfectly possible they had both fell asleep and Jay had just left that’s is possible. It could be that he got friendly with them and they was all doing drugs and drinking together.

@@seanmwh if he walked the wrong way up the road he would have passed a local shop. If he left the road then misadventure. If he did something illegal before leaving Masca that might give him reason to leave the road. But he could only catch the bus or a lift on the road. Everyone thought it was his accomodations that had been rented. If not why is no one saying where he was staying? What rental accommodations did he have?? So much of this isn't adding up.. and WHY have the dogs just now been brought in??

@ Mark Williams-Thomas. What confuses me is.
a) Lucy states she spoke to him at 8.15. (this is reported etc) and he was lost, no water and cut by cactus.
b) The landlady of the air bnb, was talked too i noted at no time did she show her face. She stated she saw him at 8am, and he asked her about the bus and she tried to tell him 10 oclock using both her hands.
Now this is coflicting surely. she saw him at about 8am he seemed ok, no problems, then a few minutes is lost ring lucy? his phone pinged at 8.50 on the mountain. i dismiss this as your phone can ping in an area but you dont have to be holding it do you?
I have this weird feeling he never left the airbnb or wasnt far from it. NO ONE not one person has come forward in that area even though its full of tourists on coach tours, there is a shop and restaurant no one saw him walking down to MASA. the landlady then states later after being out she saw him walking fast northwards. Non of that makes sense to me. How did the landlady know he was in the air bnb? she didnt see him arrive did she if that was the case she is up early. From the get go the 2 men for me would be main witnessess surely?
Tenerfife has a huge drug problem. Its getting worse and its not something the tourist board want advertising.
AS TO HIS APPEARANCE at the club, dont be fooled by that. When i was in my late teens you would see people having a good time and head bobbing and really getting in the groove this was way back in the sixties, and be shaking your head and doing your thing, yet most of us hadnt had a drink and certainly didnt take drugs. IT WAS just really letting it all out and shaking off life, and just enjoying yourself. If jay had an issue with drugs or drink, it doesnt show in his life as his boss talked highly of him. he went to work and did bricklaying. His life isnt showing to me a BAD LAD who stays up all night and sleeps all day. No a responsible young man who worked, saved and went on holiday. He would have had to have a passport too so even though we have the story about his passed convictions they must have been cleared, as you cant get a passport for 3 years otherwise.
we all seem to have focused on drugs, and alcohol, and forgetten that not all young people take this route. BUT ALSO my main concern, is why did he go off with 2 men he didnt know? thats the worry for me. it doesnt match the Jay in real life.

If he didn't charge his phone, and he didn't ask the two men how to get back to his accommodation safely and didn't take any water, as he would have felt dehydrated the next morning then his relationship with these men wasn't at that time friendly.
Either that or they were all under the influence of substances still.
So how are you friendly enough to travel that distance with 2 strangers and stay the night but then leave unprepared what happened to change that new found so called freindship ????
