Hey Emily, could you maybe make a video at the end of hatching season, where you talk about your results of breeding? As a comparison to your breeding plan video? What worked, what didn‘t, which clutches suprised you etc.
So, I noticed something, you bred her with Mr SYG and Orange Creamsicle (hypo patternless). So I think Orange Creamsicle is the dad. This was discussed in "An unfortunate clutch from our bullsnakes" released on 5/24, at 1:15 you mention O.C. but say you didnt see much breeding behavior, so you didnt suspect that going anywhere. The double clutch was just Mr. SYG.
I agree. It would also make more sense numerically, if she's het patternless, and he was patternless, then you'd expect roughly 1/2 of the babies to be patternless. I'm not sure if a snake who double-clutches would have the second clutch necessarily be the second daddy, but not at all knowledgeable about it.

In this vid they did show them after 1 shed and you can see they have way less red, they look more yellow-y, but I agree! It would be cool if they did an update vid once the babies grow up a bit

@@MichealJacksom we don’t really know. It’s just something that sometimes happens with snakes. It’s a survival of the fittest kind of thing and sometimes just happens. @@leawinkler5052 It's not a 66% chance, it's a 50% chance. About half of her offspring should be het patternless, if she was bred with a non-het non-patternless
@@raerohan4241 its a 66% chance for the wild-type looking babies so the visual patternless not included
They're so gorgeous! Congrats! I've been waiting excitedly for the hatching videos to start!
I like how juvenile (with jokes) SDs staff are sometimes behind the staff only door 🤣
Tha uranus planet joke made me laugh
The shine on some of those babies is so gorgeous 😍 good job picking mom and dad
Congrats, that’s so awesome! Those patternless babies are gorgeous and super sassy! ❤️
I just want you to know that my 3-year-old son has begun requesting to watch "the baby snakes" aka your hatching videos so now I'm just rewatching videos of yours that I've already seen because he really wants to see the baby snakes again 😆
Multi strike at 12:23 is so hilarious! Such ferocious babies! Well now we know why the babies are so angry! They take after dad 😂
We love the surprises in this clutch, especially the honking/sassy babies!!
I love the energy Emily has with the babies.
It’s funny because when I first started watching (which was a while ago) I was terrified of snakes now I can hold them without freaking out and crying❤️😅
Same lol, I actually I can now hold a snake without shaking
Same I even own a ball python girl who I’m hopping to breed
That's awesome!!!!
@@nonbinarybannana well as soon as my dad holds one he starts sweating so...🤣
I'm always curious about *when* these hatching videos are filmed - the egg-laying videos usually have you writing dates on containers, but there's to temporal context for the hatching videos. Could you maybe start including hatch dates in the descriptions?
They did mention in a recent live that they have a bunch prerecorded with all these clutches. I don't remember the time frame they said
Well, it takes 55-60 days for a clutch to hatch from the date they’re laid. So you can figure out the approximate date of hatch.
@@meowthekitty321 but that means I have to do *math*.
We should start a donation page to get Emily and Ed a camera that can catch all the colors and patterns more clearly. That’s not to say the camera work isn’t wonderful already and the sound has greatly improved with the new microphone, but I’m dying to see the real effect of a lavender you’ve produced 😂
So strange that I'm as pleased for you as if I were there and beyond invested as just an Aussie fan. You guys are THE BEST! 💗🐍
“Has anything pocked out of uranus?”
That got me 😂😂
So cute!! How exciting! Can't wait until my ladies are big enough to start breeding! Only have some eager fathers ready to go at the moment!
I can see Emily and Ed keeping the patternless ones
A comment from my husband: "No, Pluto was so happy you named something after him, he took it. Saying "thank you for the gift". Saturn took his as well."
🥺🥺🥺 How dare he make me feel.
I wish there was a compilation of all the egg hatchings ever! 8 love watching them hatch!
I love how Mr. Steal Your Girl is just trying to burrow into Emily's shirt the entire intro. It's super cute.
I love that copper color the pattern less are. So pretty
I love how the calmer patternless baby has two little darker spots behind its head, and the other two spicy ones have an H shaped marking behind their head. Easy to distinguish them all :D
Keep up the awesome work guys I'm so happy for what you guys have accomplished 😊
The patternless one looks like a mini king ghidorah :)
The one patternless is so gentle~no angry
I’ve been watching since only 10k subs and I can’t believe how far you guys have come! You are an inspiration to all snake lovers! Thanks again, -me
I remember this clutch being laid. So fun seeing how this one turned out! Such a cool suprise
Those patternless babies are going to be gorgeous when they're all grown up! Though of course the rest of the baby bulls will be too. ❤️
If you ever have videos that you would like to post to youtube, but think they will be de-monetized. You can always post them to a secondary channel.
I can't get over how freaking adorable that honking noise is!
😍😍😍
I smell a future breeding project for you :D Those patternless babies are gorgeous!
This is awesome but I feel kinda left out with not seeing the unhatched one and why it possibly didn't hatch. I've been watching since they just had a few racks in the place before their current house but I'm not able to support the Patreon when I have trouble affording necessities for my family. The science of breeding is so interesting to me.
We love mystery babys egg videos are always fun since you never know what will happen
Really appreciate you guys having the egg dissection up for free! It's sad the little guy didn't make it but at least it wasn't a healthy baby that passed away for some unknown reason, he definitely wasn't meant to be. With the organs on the outside, that's actually the same thing that happened with the blue beauty egg dissection iirc? It's still extremely interesting and a learning opportunity so I thank you for it. I hope the other babies grow up nice and healthy!
Hope you guys kept two of the patternless for breeding projects. They are so cute.
Yay more babies 😁 that patternless is gorgeous
So happy for you with the new morph. How is that box turtle doing with the overgrown beak?
When Emily says "it won't be an exciting clutch this time" you know it's gonna be good
Orange Creamsicle could definetly be the dad. He was mentioned on the previous egg video. 🤔
strpey and the bulls are always the main attraction. love to see the bullsnakes
LOVE YOUR VIDS!! Baby sneks are the cutest… blelelee. Also, cool patternless! You should hold one back if you have the space…
I love egg hatching season 😊
The babies are so cute!
Aww the patternless ones are gorgeous
I truly hope you keep the calm tempered patternless for programs and future breeding once he/she has grown out
Ohhh, that was so exciting to watch along as you guys discovered that! Happy surprise! And SO cool looking! My favorite is DEFINITELY the chill patternless male baby. Compared to all his siblings, who were HONKIN' MAD XD
Ok, so can anyone describe what snake babies smell like? I’m always so curious about it when Emily and Ed mention it.
Cant wait to know EVEN MORE about snake genetics!
I love how it's an equal mix of both that are fiesty and chill. Two patterned ones are calm and like Idk those fiesty siblings along with that one patternless noodle. While two of the patternless ones and one patterned one'is like "bite or fight"🤣 the honking and striking backwards is absolutely priceless
This is cool! Nice surprise!
I wonder if they're going to hold one back, can't wait to see her next clutch!
The baby reveal videos are definitely my faves. I'm just so excited for you guys
