You could wrap presents for the breeder rats. The ones who are permanent or semi-permanent. My girls used to love unwrapping presents, and there's a bunch of stuff you can wrap for them. They'll just enjoy the unwrapping process.
Sunmaid raisins in the cardboard box was always a favourite for my hamsters... I gave my rats nuts in the shell, walnuts and hazelnuts were like a foraging toy!
I gave mine babyfood, nuts, seeds only sometimes, even non-flavored unsalted popcorn. I wrapped one of those little plastic bags of liquid baby food and my oldest unwrapped it for both of them. The older one was always the most interactive. I miss them.
Love the annual holiday specials, but seeing Chaka climbing that toy is now probably one of my Top 10 Christmas content moments! Hope all y'all have a wonderful Christmas!

EDIT: I bought one of those hanging moss balls for my crested gecko. He hated it, so I turned it into a vine planter and now he uses it as a bed and the leaves as pillows.
