First one. I really enjoyed this sequel but imo no movie franchise will ever be as funny/heartwarming/exciting as the first. Not even Shrek 2 - although it was a very close 2nd
Because there is a lore behind these movies, for example Bob having a "spidey sense" of sorts, which explains a lot of scenes in the first movie, and since JJ has all types of powers, we have to assume that Jack-Jack is also a very intelligent telepath. First clue is a fight with Syndrome, he wanted Syndrome to let him go so he went fire, didn't work, so he countered flying with heavy led, then went demon-baby, it kinda looks like he does random stuff, but it also doesn't. His fight with Racoon is similar, a lot of accurate counters. He definately has telekinesis, but it seem that "psychic" powers are hard to control even for him, he teleports through dimensions almost instinctively, but he struggles to lift the trash lid and he visibly struggled with taking of the goggles off his mom. Also, you can see him laughing at his "silly" dad a few times, but like you noticed he admires Edna and wants to be like her.
The funniest thing ever was when I watched my Dad try to teach my 12 year younger sister math. To this day idk how he didn't have a heart attack from trying to understand it.
I like the way they carried over/overlapped stories. Remember all the dead supers that the Dad found on the island in episode #1?? One of the deceased was the super that was called to rescue that elderly couple...
17:53 I mean she did pilot a jet in the first movie and was skilled enough to evade Syndrome's missiles for a while, so there's continuity with her flying skills

The Incredibles are my favorite. I thoroughly enjoyed y'all reacting to the 1st, and when I get home, I'm going to relax and enjoy watching this reaction 😂
I am not sure if it's been made canon or the fans came up with it, but Jack Jack is called a polymorph. He can do anything, a Jack of all Trades so to speak. I've seen theories on he is just overactive and he will settle into one power as he gets older, others think he is one of the most unique types of supers which is why Edna went nuts. I am so curious on his future.
If you didn't pick up on it the rich guy and girl's dad was killed because when he called those superheroes didn't pick up because they were all killed by the villain from the first one.
I don't think so. That flashback was a long time ago while Buddy aka Syndrome was still a child when supers were declared Illegal. They hadn't died yet. The supers didn't come because they were following the law. They could no longer be vigilantes.
@@TheBlackLakeSiren Syndrome was at least at teenager and got older when superheroes were outlawed. If you look at the flashback the first part is when his dad is young the last half when he's killed he's a lot older and it's way after the superhero law and Buddy killing superheroes. Also besides the law that's the reason the new heroes were so happy about coming out of hiding because most superheroes are now dead and this takes place right after the first so obviously they're still afraid about people with powers getting killed.
@brandontrammel4581 I'm talking about the exact time their parents were killed. It was said the superheros were just declared illegal. This would have been before the incredible kids were born and before buddy was grown. Therefore far before the supers were being killed by syndrome.
@@TheBlackLakeSiren not saying you're wrong but trying to figure out when because his dad was still young in the flashback when superheroes became illegal. I'm wondering how much time because the mom and dad were beyond old so the kids had to at least be teenagers. Because like you I'm trying to figure out the timeline because The incredibles were just married and Violet wasn't even born when they were declared illegal right?
20:28 Fun Fact about Brick: Her power is "Metamorphosis" and she uses it to expand her body into a "Brick Wall", meaning what we see in the movie isn't what she actually looks like when she's not using her powers and only in the Incredibles 2 Lego Video Game can see what she looks like when she isn't built like a brick wall
I've seen both movies at least once, but in true viewer form, only now after starting your reaction, seeing the cars, and doing some googling, I realized I never caught on that this is set in a retro-futuristic version of the 60s. I just always figured it was the 21st century because of the tech.
I grew up watching the first one, and it took me AGES to pick up on this. I finally did when Edna was giving her "no capes" speech and was listing the years that the various heroes died. Then it was reinforced when Bob breaks into Syndrome's computer and the deaths of the various supers are listed with the years they died.
Having Jack Jack is like dealing with a special needs kid. A special needs kid that can level a city. I'm glad they incorporated this in the movie using an unpredictable powerset.
If there will be a third movie, I'd love to see Jack Jack a bit older, maybe about the same age as Dash. It would be interesting to see if he can still do the same things by instinct like now, as a baby, or if he accidentally does things by instinct and has to learn his powers and controlling them.
So the babysitter in the other movie is the reason that Jack-Jack powers got unlocked. She played him Mozart and all that enrichment play. The real hero 30:55
The Incredibles 2 is one of my all time favorite movies. To the animation, humor, and especially the music it’s all amazing! In my opinion, the second one is better than the first one because of all the action and the plot twist. I’m really glad you guys reacted to this one! ❤🙏
I find it very funny since I am a fan of the horror genre that Quinn calls out Halloween 3 during the hypnotized by tvs scene & it made me first think of what Jim Carrey does as The Riddler in the Batman movie. Just thought that was some fun irony since Quinn has said he's not a huge fan of horror. Just goes to show that just cause u love one thing a lil more doesn't mean u can't love a bunch of diff things! Great reaction fellas! These movies are so much fun!!! ❤💞❤️
If you get to Disneyland the incredicoaster’s theme is to chase Jack Jack as he goes after cookie num nums and his Auntie Edna encourages his shenanigans! It’s a lot of fun!
I love how they name the kids after their powers without previously knowing them. Violet- Ultra violet forcefields, invisibility Dash- super speed Jack-Jack- Jack of all trades
What I love about this movie is that it shows a Mr. Incredible being different kind of hero. He’s being a hero as a dad. I love that he stayed up late to learn Dash’s math so that he could help him. That’s a real hero right there. ❤
Not to take anything away from the other characters...but I adore Jack Jack. I think it's because he has so much potential that needs to be harnessed. I keep trying to imagine how he would be 20 years later as a superhero. I'm sure at some point, Pixar will do a movie featuring him as a grown up or at least as an older teen.
Hearing Craig T. Nelson's voice (Mr. Incredible) made me think these gents must watch the Will Ferrell movie, Blades Of Glory, if they haven't, where he plays the coach. Gosh damn that movie is funny, and just another of the films that rounds out Will Ferrell's apparent quest to have a movie about every American sport.
I"m sure its been said in another video; or in another comment but Jack Jack's name is indicative of his powers much like the rest of the Kids; Violet, named after Ultraviolet light, Dash, because running, and Jack Jack is named after 'Jack of all Trades'
The raccoon scene almost made me want another baby. I told my kids (who are all adults) that I would have another baby ONLY if it was guaranteed to be exactly like Jack-Jack 😂😂
Jack Jack: *does anything* All the guys: HAHAHAHA I LOVE HIM I FUCKIN LOVE THAT GUY!!! Literally me as a child. Honestly you guys made me crack up so hard. I clicked this reaction so fast. You guys are the greatest.
The Jack-Jack Attack short was made specifically for the home video release of the first Incredibles film. I'm sure the filmmakers had the idea in mind when creating the original film. Pixar often released a film-related bonus short plus a second Pixar short that was a test of new technology with each of their DVD released in the early 2000's. Some shorts would be used to develop realistic feathers (For The Birds) or water and background (Boundin', which was also released with the Incredibles DVD), clouds (Partly Cloudy), lava and eruptions (Lava), or photorealistic rain (The Blue Umbrella). Usually some side adventure of one of the feature movies characters was included too, like Mike's New Car released with Monster's Inc, Jack-Jack Attack with the Incredibles, Mater and the Ghostlight released with the first Cars DVD, BURN-E released with Wall-E, or Riley's First Date? released with Inside Out. Pixar is always updating their technology and processes to create ever more realistic animation or to make stunning visuals, and their shorts allow them to test out and refine these new technologies.
This film isn’t as good as the first, but I don’t think it deserves the crazy hate it gets. Idk, I still thought it was good. If anything, 2 is absolutely gorgeous to look at. If 1 was an S, 2 is like a B
"crazy hate", lol. The movie was very well received and performed far better than the original at the box office. And the overwhelming majority of the hate I've seen is from chuds who want to whine that a man trying to be a good father is "woke" (whatever the fuck that is supposed to mean) while the mother gets to be a successful breadwinner for the family.
I personally enjoyed it a lot. The only thing I really disliked was how they backtracked on Bob’s character development a little. A lot of franchises and shows make the same mistake. “Hey remember that lesson this character learned before? Pretend that didn’t happen.” Bob’s ego…I didn’t like how Bob struggled to be happy for Helen’s success as a superhero because he wanted to be the one in the spotlight. But, I can appreciate how they wanted to make Bob relatable to dads watching, who feel incompetent when they no longer fulfill a traditional role. The stay-at-home-dad representation was great.
@@lilscenechick1995 I think a lot of that was rooted in the fact that this is supposed to take place in the mid-20th century. People did mention how in part I when he was being a hero again, he was a more attentive and involved dad, not as stressed as he was here.
@@lilscenechick1995 They didn't backtrack on his development at all, lol. You simply jumped to conclusions and made up your own headcanon up about where he actually was as a person.
Me too, I only watched the first Saw movie but I really loved that creepy vibe when Helen was tracing The Screenslaver. The Incredibles is my favorite animated movie ever and I believe this second installment is a good continuation to the story. I was really excited to see it in cinemas, I went with my 5th grade students and we had a blast.

@@mimic1984 for some reason your second comment disappeared as I wass reading it, because listing the movies they have reacted to is really politically incorrect I assume lol. (Or maybe it disappeared for ither reasons)
I am just writing this to tell you that I saw it and appreciate your effort anyway :D
@corneliahanimann2173 lol I saw that. Appreciate the appreciation.
I love the second movie just as much as the first! They did a pretty good job
I wonder if they’re gonna do an Incredibles 3 with Violet and Dash as young adults and Jack Jack as a teen, I’d love that
At D23 convention, they just announced there will be a third. I hope you're premise comes true
@@mujerfeliz2008 :0
The Incredibles are my favorite. I thoroughly enjoyed y'all reacting to the 1st, and when I get home, I'm going to relax and enjoy watching this reaction 😂
You didn't disappoint..enjoyed this reaction so much.
FYI..Edna is a take-off on a popular clothes designer for the Rich and famous named Edith Head
Edna still an ✨️ICON✨️ in everything she appears in.
I’ve never heard anyone so casually reference Halloween 3
Is is just me or are Oak and Answer on the wrong sides? 🤣🤣🤣Love you guys!!!
It’s funny how baby Jack jack is… A JACK of all trades 😏
The Oak at 8:30 "Heavyweight problems need Heavyweight solutions " 😂
It is absolutely criminal that we never got an Incredibles tv show. There was sooo much potential to have a long running series
Everytime Mason Quinn does the 'you guys ' ... I roll back and keep laughing until the whole show's over.
I really enjoyed your first Incredibles video ❤ I'm so glad you're reacting to the second one!
@41:16 - As Guillermo Del Toro (and others) said, animation is a medium, not a genre. Good not to try to compare things that are very different.
Having Jack Jack is like dealing with a special needs kid. A special needs kid that can level a city. I'm glad they incorporated this in the movie using an unpredictable powerset.
Never saw it in that way, interesting
Wow, I didn’t even think of it like that and I am autistic 😂 I love this take
@@Birchlead LOL!
If there will be a third movie, I'd love to see Jack Jack a bit older, maybe about the same age as Dash. It would be interesting to see if he can still do the same things by instinct like now, as a baby, or if he accidentally does things by instinct and has to learn his powers and controlling them.
the Raccoon fight is iconic. Top 10 anime fights of all time.
Congrats on 300k! I remember when y’all were under 200k. Well deserved!
Congrats on 300k subscribers, gentlemen
@@Jordan.tic999 🤜🤛 thank you and thanks for watching with us.
If you get to Disneyland the incredicoaster’s theme is to chase Jack Jack as he goes after cookie num nums and his Auntie Edna encourages his shenanigans! It’s a lot of fun!
Craig T Nelson as Mr Incredible and The Poltergeist reference with Jack Jack Is epic!
Jack-Jack is definitely the MVP in this movie🤣 The first time I saw "Pew pew" scene had me rolling on the floor🤣🤣
The sister’s name let you know she was going to be the villain: “Evelyn Deavor (Evil Endeavor).”
Yeah, the second I heard her name when I saw it, I just went "yup, that's the villain" 😂😂
How? I don't get it.
@@GuardianAngelEatos Evelyn Deavor = Evil Endeavor (endeavor meaning to try hard to do something). Evelyn was trying to be evil (villain)
Jack Jack is Edna's baby now 😂
I love how they name the kids after their powers without previously knowing them.
Violet- Ultra violet forcefields, invisibility
Dash- super speed
Jack-Jack- Jack of all trades
What I love about this movie is that it shows a Mr. Incredible being different kind of hero. He’s being a hero as a dad. I love that he stayed up late to learn Dash’s math so that he could help him. That’s a real hero right there. ❤
Not to take anything away from the other characters...but I adore Jack Jack. I think it's because he has so much potential that needs to be harnessed. I keep trying to imagine how he would be 20 years later as a superhero. I'm sure at some point, Pixar will do a movie featuring him as a grown up or at least as an older teen.
The reason Gazer Beam didn't come when he called was because Syndrome killed him.
Yeah…These movies are really dark when you think about it.
The Incredibles.
It's an incredible movie.
The Shawshank Redemption.
Another incredible movie.
Hearing Craig T. Nelson's voice (Mr. Incredible) made me think these gents must watch the Will Ferrell movie, Blades Of Glory, if they haven't, where he plays the coach. Gosh damn that movie is funny, and just another of the films that rounds out Will Ferrell's apparent quest to have a movie about every American sport.
nice to see someone else noticed that, I'm looking for a hockey movie next.
@@shadowdivided - Even with his cameo in a recent Amazon show he added track running.
It's daytime you douche!! Love that movie
I"m sure its been said in another video; or in another comment but Jack Jack's name is indicative of his powers much like the rest of the Kids; Violet, named after Ultraviolet light, Dash, because running, and Jack Jack is named after 'Jack of all Trades'
Violet also indicates her initial shyness : shrinking violet
Gotta give some respect to that girl who turned out to be an amazing baby sitter!
Yes, finally the 2nd of Incredibles. Let's gooo🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Tbh I've seen a theory that says Jack Jack has only One power technically, but it's the power to completely manipulate the Laws of physics around him.
Jack-Jack was the real MVP of this movie 😂
I love this movie! One of my Pixar favourites
Jack jack will forever be my fav
20:28 The guys popping when Brick said he was from Wisconsin. 😆
Y'all forgot that she flew the jet in the first movie
Jack jack getting his shine in this is amazing 👏 🙌 😍 i remember watching as it came out i was shouting at my screen 😂❤go jack
The raccoon scene almost made me want another baby. I told my kids (who are all adults) that I would have another baby ONLY if it was guaranteed to be exactly like Jack-Jack 😂😂
Congratulations on 300K subscribers guys!! Totally deserved 👏💥💚
Jack Jack: *does anything*
All the guys: HAHAHAHA I LOVE HIM I FUCKIN LOVE THAT GUY!!!
Lies u tell ppl loved it i dont remember any hate 🤷
"crazy hate", lol. The movie was very well received and performed far better than the original at the box office. And the overwhelming majority of the hate I've seen is from chuds who want to whine that a man trying to be a good father is "woke" (whatever the fuck that is supposed to mean) while the mother gets to be a successful breadwinner for the family.
Honestly I prefer this film over the first, but I see why some people dislike it.
If you didn’t know the kids names correlate to their powers
Dash - self explanatory
Violet- ultraviolet rays
Jack Jack- Jack of all trades, many powers
Violet also references her initial shyness: shrinking violet
Im ready willing and able!!! Let's gooo 🔥
On my second cup of coffee! Perfect timing haha.
