I got a 67 F & F resin Galaxie. I bought it years ago and so far no reissue anywhere. One of these days I'll get to it. LOL. I heard of the release of that Warlock kit and I can't wait. Thanks for sharing.
Those are some super cool old resin kits. I love all the releases round 2 is doing whether it’s new tool or a repop. And if anyone ever creates something I have in resin in plastic then I’ll buy that and happily have both
I have a Bandit Resin 69 Barracuda Notchback. I did start it but just can’t decide if I want to build it as a 69 Cuda 440, or a 69 Mod Top Barracuda. Since that kit is being reissued again. I think I’ll do the Cuda 440 as a fastback.
I really enjoyed this video, I’m right there with you, I’ve collected and pieced together several kits, lots of money invested only to have the kit released. The MPC 68 and 69 Coronets, a 72 Demon come to mind as well as a 64 Chevelle Wagon, and a 62 Ford Pick up. I thoroughly enjoyed tracking down the missing parts and pieces though, it was as fun as the build, MAYBE MORE!
Thank you. Yes, I also have a 68 Coronet HT and a 69 Coronet Conv restoration projects in my stash. Finding the candidates and collecting the parts is part of the fun! That is one of the reasons I have so many old vintage restoration projects. I also have a 64 Chevelle wagon and a 64 El Camino. Plus all Mopar MPC E-body Annual Cudas and Challengers plus MPC 68-70 Charger Annuals. The money I spent is long forgotten as the fun of getting the kit ready to build, collecting parts, getting the parts stripped and ready and also getting the chrome redone. Many of them are in this state and ready to build. Most I just dream about what color they will be when done!
I have a couple resin kits 65 nova hard top, that got to build a replica of a nova I had in the past and lost the dash for it about 10 years ago which stalled that, now I got a couple of the AMT 63 nova wagon kits that I can use but kinda lost interest in it, one day I'll get back on it, and a 71 Impala I picked up fairly reasonable that I probably sale
This hobby is really about the joy of building a kit. Whether it be resin or styrene, it’s about the build. As for the cost of a resin conversion and the disappointment when it’s released in kit form, well, you win some you loose some 🤷♂️
Thanks. They did come out with the 68 Coronet RT conv. I built one on the channel. The hardtop is pretty much known as coming but I don't believe it has officially announced or a timeline given.
I don't know what your typical listener is like, but I really identified with this episode. First, since you asked, I am very disappointed with Round 2's approach to the Demon. Maybe I wasn't paying attention, but my assumption was they were going to build.on their really nice Duster versus tweaking an old MPC tooling. I would be more satisfied with a promo style like the upcoming'64 Chevelle mentioned in the episode and their '68 Goat I have already purchased. Three projects, and muscle cars no less I have assembled parts for are first, the Twister Torino which has been rendered somewhat? obscure by the re-release of this kit. I have heard that it own comes with the Twister decals, which I sourced from Keith Marks; and the hub caps which I got from Replicas and Minatures of MD. It is the same for a Mustang Twister, except I don't think I picked up hubcaps for that one. The last project is a '74 T/A that Missing Link put out. Really nice kit and one I should get to while I am still on the right side of dirt. Cheers, and I really look forward to catching up on all your content as I am still a relatively new subscriber.
Thanks! I think the Demon is a lot like what they did with the 68 Coronet RT conv. I agree that the 71 Duster is the way to go. Since the Duster was designed before Round 2 ownership. They may have the tooling but not the files that the tooling was made from. Don’t know just speculation. The newest 70 Torino Cobra only has the Twister Decals. It does not have the correct wheels. I built one early on my channel but only used Fred Cady decals and didn’t correct the wheels. I also added the front spoiler. I also have a Missing Link 74 TA. It’s nice and since I did a 73 TA. I have been wanting to build that.
I know what you mean about getting parts out of multiple kits at one time my kitchen table look likes a MoPar B-Body assembly line MPC 1/25 69 country charger-dirty Mary car Monogram 1/24 69 A12 Super Bee Rallye Green Revell 1/24 70 Roadrunner sublime/Limelight Those are painted ready to decal or clear Started on MPC 1/25 70 Super Bee Panther Pink (chassis painted) AMT 1/25 68 Roadrunner (not painted yet but will be petty blue Hemi car like the actual 68 J code Hemi Petty blue roadrunner I saw 3 years ago at rockingham dragway MoPar car show swap meet his buddy had one too but it was QQ1 with the taxi cab interior and was a automatic so it had a dark bluecolor matched rubber floor mat instead of a carpet and had no rear armrests
There's been alot of new kits announced that i'm excited about,i'm going to need to live to at least 150 years old to build them all!. Lol!
Same here!

Cool. I have a 61 Thunderbird from F&F.
I keep praying for Round 2 to re-pop the '67 Galaxie. It's my grail.
Great stuff Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!

I am too. Collecting parts for a project is just as much fun!
@@TheMuscleCarModeler I absolutely agree!
I also have a resin Dodge Demon. One resin kit I don't believe they will ever produce is a notch back Barracuda. It's good to have that one in resin.

Looking forward to the stuff coming out. Nice resins
You and me both! Thanks!
Lots of cool kits to share with us. I've never worked with a resin kit. That convertible 442 looks awesome!
Thank you!

That sucks when you loose a part like that. Hard to replace sometimes. Moebius has the Stock 64 Nova and a custom 65 Nova.
A lot of new kits! Very cool resins. Gotta build em before the kit em😊
You got that right! LOL!
Nice collection of resin bodies and parts. Hopefully, you will be able to build them soon. Thanks for sharing.
I have so many resin body’s. Lots to build but finishing up the 2020 Shelby and working on the other Baldwin Motion Corvette.
The Duster is a nice kit except the body fits very tightly onto the chassis.
Yes it does. I was fitting one to a MPC 69 Barracuda. That is a tight fit.

Yes you do and I often forget about the money. You never know what kits are in the future anyways. That is some of the fun of this hobby.
I am really looking forward to the Dodge Demon as well … hopefully it will be early christmas present :-)
I hope so too!
Wow you have so many cool projects and finished modeks, Have you heard if they're doing a 1968 coronet R/T in the future??
Thanks. They did come out with the 68 Coronet RT conv. I built one on the channel. The hardtop is pretty much known as coming but I don't believe it has officially announced or a timeline given.
@@TheMuscleCarModeler yeah I got the convertible, guess we'll have to wait and see when comes out, also heard the MPC 1971 GTX is in the works too.
That would be cool as well. I already have 3-4 of the MPC 71 Road Runner/ GTX in my stash.
@@TheMuscleCarModeler yes it would be, I have 2 1971 mpc Roadrunner. and a 72 Roadrunner.

Very cool. I have done that many times. I usually have a few related subjects on my desk at the same time. Sometimes just for comparison.
Would you be interested in selling the rising kid of at 72 Cutlass
No but I understand that Missing Link does plan to offer that Cutlass Supreme body with a 71 interior. Maybe both 72 and 71 options.
Cool Beans. I too am looking forward to the Demon & the Warlock. Sounds like a good name for a Halloween movie. lol
Lol. Sure does!
