i am a HORRIBLE cook and your videos are so simple and straightforward that i always find myself saving them to try later! they always turn out great :) thank you!
For you: If u don't have coconut flour, flax seed etc... Heres my delicious recipe: Ground oats Bananas Honey Almond pulp Vanilla extract Almond/peanut butter Chocolate chips (you guys can use your own measurement)
@@apart691 worst case scenario, if it doesn't work as a cookie, it'll probably work as a granola type thing? There's no reason for it to be unsafe or inedible, it just probably won't hold together without any sort of real flour or a flax egg or something
This was literally the most informative and educational almond milk video I’ve seen. You really broke down the price, what to do with the pulp, Storage.. everything!! You’re the best! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼✨✨✨
i use the almond pulp for a apple crumble ... yum works a treat ..gonna try these ...thanks . .in uk nuts are very expensive but there just delicious 😊😊 and being vegan we need the nuts ...so worth the splurge ...
Thanks, I have just ordered my food processor combo blender on sale and hummus, falafel, cauliflower rice, nut milks, soups and nut butters are on my list. I love that we can make a cookie that is higher in protein with the 'meal' that is left over.
Here is my formal request for more videos like this! I really enjoyed this format. The two recipes in one, the facts/cost breakdown. It makes this video such a great all-in-one resource! I'll be sharing it with friends new to the nut milk scene ;)
I have used the almond pulp in my smoothie. I used fresh strawberries and two frozen bananas and added a little honey a cup of pulp. Oh and a cup of water. It was good
Great video. One tip on getting the almond milk from the bowl to the mason jar. Pour it back into the vitamix pitcher first. Then you don't need to worry about scooping it with the pot and using the funnel.
When I was making a lot of almond milk I would throw the pulp in the oven for a bit to dehydrate it and then store it in jars. It behaves more like flour if you do that.
You are right by saying that once we try homemade almond we don't go back to store bought. I am still enjoying my almond milk because it's homemade. Thanks for sharing the Cookie recipe. I have been trying to use the pulp in recipes that the whole family can enjoy. These cookies look delicious 😋
I love that you said homemade tastes better.. love almonds... can not stand store bought almond milk! Not sure why but it just has an off flavor to me. I am making my own now and needed ways to use the pulp.thank you
Great video, I have been throwing away my pulp and wanted to use them hence I am looking for options. I will start making cookies using this recipe, thank you.
Oh gosh I’ve just made those but with cashew pulp (had only that on hands) and wow they are the best cookies i have ever eaten! Will definitely do the recipe again and this time with almond pulp. May be nice to play with the butter as well :) thanks Caitlin!
I’ve been making my own nut milk for 8 years. I bought an Almond Cow! I can have any type of nut milk in 1 minute. Put in salt to bring out the taste, vanilla and dares.
My family drinks a lot of almond milk and my mom always buys like 3 liters of almond milk per week so I wonder if where I live might be more convenient to do my own almond milk. Thank you Caitlin for the recipe I can see its super easy and now I can see test it out and see if at least where I live might be cheaper to make my own:) as for the pulp cookies I might substitute it with something else (cranberries maybe?) for me lol Im not a fan of chocolate hehehe
Hey Caitlin! Thanks for the amazing video! Very complete, even for me to that am.used to make almond milk several times during the week, I was able to learn a lot! But I do live at Brazil, and here there is no maple syrup available, only if imported. Do you have any substitute suggestions? Thanks in advance and regards from Brasil 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Great idea! Thinking of throwing away the pulp is part of what's stopped me from trying to make my own non-dairy milks. I'm partial to oat milk myself, do you have any idea what to do with the leftover oats?

Crystalline Entity OMG!!!! Yes!!!
This worked really well for me. Thank you !
How do you know when the milk has gone off? Is there a certain smell to look out for?
You instantly smell and taste it :D You will know it
Smell it when you first make it so you have something to compare to. It has a bad smell when it's gone off
Thank you!! Curious if you have tried this in a dehydrator?

Love you Caitlin! You're the best 🤗
I make fabulous yoghurt!! Took a while to perfect it but it’s great
Thank you, do you have a suggestion in place of bananas,? I love bananas but not in cookies. Anything else but fruit😊
Can another ingredient be substituted for the bananas, my husband has a potassium restriction? Thank you for the video very helpful 💁🏻♀️
I prefer to leave pulp to dry. It stores really well, and it's basicallly like flour, so it's perfect to make both raw and baked goods.
Can u plz share how/in which things u use the pulp.. thanks
@thisbitch 123 You kinda can, but it's quite mild. Tastes good anyway, and gives you a fluffier texture. I personally really like the way it turns.
@@bluelotus232 How long do you leave pulp to dry? In the oven or outside? Temperature of oven?
Baking powder what if I don’t got that would it be a difference ? And and ground flax seed can I use pumpkin seeds instead?
Thank you so much for this recipe. What other options can I use instead of banana?

I HAVE to make these. Do you think I could swap out the white flour for oat flour? Thanks, Caitlin! xo
Thanks, love this video!💗
What flour can I substitute the coconut flour? Thanks for your response
Do you have to wait to the banana ripes or can you use regular unripened banana ?
hi loved it but is there an alternative to using banana's in the cookie mix?
Excellent 👍 video
