DIY process on how to change your oil and transmission fluid.
Performed on my Matrix XRS but same for the 2ZZGE / C60 in the Celica,Corolla,MR2 and Lotus Elise. Process is very similar for many other "driver" cars.

Bad oil for 2zzge mate. Try to use mobil1 0w40 FS with mann oil filter w610/9. The transmission fluid mt90 is the best.

Interesting bro, i've never heard about that. What advantages with the 40 weigjt ?

@Ma70rk the protection from friction. The additives packet from this oil is excellent mate.(zinc zddp boron moly etc...Also 0w is the best for cold starts even in hot whether. The 40weight now don't have advantages but don't have disadvantages too. Also the oem toyota filter is poor with bad bypass valve. Remember this is high rev engine needs very good oil👌

@DimosTs192 gotcha, I've had great luck with the molygen, also with the friction modifiers. So far oil pump gear + baffled oil pan (and not money shifting) has held up, thanks for watching 🤘🏼🤘🏼

@Ma70rk is nice oil but not very good for the 2zzge change the oil every 1 year or 5k kms and all its right 😉🤟. Also oil pan need only in track days use with semislicks (if pass 1.0g lateral pressure) and oil pump gear if rev over 8.600rpm.

Replaced that stuff when I had the motor out about 50k ago. Figured while I'm in here 🤣 original plan is to SCCA stock class this car
