United Methodist church has lost their way. They are no longer following God’s word. They are too Worried about offending somebody that they rather let their members go to hell with them. Sad! Repent Methodist leaders and preach the true gospel.
In the interest of being as fair as possible, the reason these speakers had to do these identity announcements (whether they wanted to or not) is because there were "monitors" in each room keeping a strict count of each identity group and how much participation they were being afforded. The monitors were not allowed to assume what the speaker identified as. Thus the announcements. At the end of each day, the entire conference was shown a scorecard and was either praised or chided on its diversity and inclusion among those allowed to speak that day. I'm not saying I agree with this. I'm just reporting the rationale behind it.

Our church disaffiliated and is being sued by UMC. Until our church decided to leave we sent our tithes to a another church.
