Should you buy the Fujifilm X-T4 in 2023?

With the Fujifilm X-T5 available, should you still consider the X-T4 in 2023? Let's talk about some of the advantages and why this camera still feels, not only relevant, but very modern. With a 26MP sensor, a flip out touch screen, great video specs and some killer in body image stabilisation, this is still a great option in 2023

Great reasoning! Yes... You can get a battery grip. I have 2... Actually, I still have 2 x X-T3, X-T4 and X-H2's. Used the X-T3's and 4's for the likes of VOGUE, ELLE, GRAZIA, etc...

Well, what can I say? Great video! Ive had 4 fuji cameras and various lenses and now I'm down to my X-Pro2 and the 35mm 1.4 and the 16mm 2.8. Lately I've been somewhat bored and uninspired by my kit. I've been toying with the idea of selling my existing system and get a Sony A7CII. Thanks to you Ive mitigated this sudden attack of GAS(Gear Acquisition Syndrome). While I may at some point go the Sony full frame route, I will not let go of my Fuji X-Pro2. Change my head and get back out there! Thanks again! And now I will pick one of these up, Ya and done! Im excited once again. Oh BTW I just picked up the 56 1.2 WR... Maybe I'm not over my GAS just yet. For now my kit is complete.

I bought an X-T4 last summer, having been sold on the hype called "amazing Fuji colours". How disappointed I was. Yes, it is different and more saturated, but I think it is not superior to the colours that I am getting from my old Olympus E-PL6 nor my Nikon D200, which continues to amaze me with the colours and smooth tonal gradation all these years. Lesson learned, if you like your camera and it's colours, just learn to master them and don't follow the hype.

Its not worth it to be honest..... i'm seeing X-T4 prices on the used market going to the the same price as a brand new X-T5.... TikTok has def. make getting a decently price fuji into a nightmare. The x100v are sold out and selling for over 300 dollars retail. lol The X-T3 is also a great option... i would get an X-H1 but those are big and i wanted a smaller formfactor like the x-t4 + a 23mm lens or 35mm 1.4

This is basically the X-T3.5 rather than an X-T4. Disappointing upgrade over the X-T3. As the the tracking performance and eye detect. It's just BAD. The price needs to come down a lot for this to be a recommended buy in 2023.

Wild statement , I absolutely love my xt4 , I don’t shoot fast moving subjects and it’s great all around minus the tracking af , I manual focus with peaking half the time anyways

If you are an AF enthusiast you're on the wrong track with Fuji at all. They want to be paired with manual focus lenses and be used like in the film days.
