It has autofocus with native micro 4/3 lenses with autofocus. For example, the Panasonic 12-35 mm. The stabilization works as well. Helps with handheld.
Yeah. It does have a one tap auto focus, but I often find with my camera that is often mis-hits, which is the main reason why I don't use it. Optically image stabilized lenses are great, definitely help with stabilization. Thank you for sharing.
I am thinking in the 4k for a documetary, but got a good deal in the original with a EF adapter and lenses. Should wait or go for it? I dont want to film 4k
Hey. The 4K is an absolute monster of a camera too. It really depends on what you need. I own the 4K version as well, for Documentaries, I film in 2.6k which gives me a bit of flexibility when it comes to reframing. I would also say that the ability to record straight to an SSD has definitely improved my experience when editing.
just bought the bmmcc (the 60fps version basically). I've been thinking of getting one for a little over a year and man, the prices for these have definitely gone up, at least here in the united states.
Hey. Yeh, I completely agree it does fall apart at 1600, but it is nice to have. Neat Video Noise Reduction is a great piece of software which I use to help with Low Light.
@@goblinfactory5722 Yes Thank You. I think choices differ from person to person. But I also notice that even at 1600 ISO, certain late evenings scenes are just too dark. And it doesn't capture anything and everything ends up being just black. Blame is on tiny sensor size and not just the camera itself.
Hey. So there is a little 12v Power output on the side of the camera, and one on the right side of the Tilta Plate. You should just connect the cable from the plate to the camera. There is a 7.5v on the left side, which doesn't produce enough to power the camera.
My favorite lens I use right now is the Panasonic 25mm 1.7. I just find that it works great for the size of the camera. I also use the Sigma 18-35 from time to time.
@@cyklzycia8814 have a look at my BMPCC Rig Video, it could give you some ideas. They are both viable options, but depending on your shooting style it can impact your choice.
I bought mine back in 2013 and I still use it. I shoot corporate video, music videos and documentaries. The BMPCC It’s a beast!

Never got to try the BMMCC, but sounds like an amazing camera.
I still use it for my personal projects and as a gimbal cam on pro shoots.

I have the 4k and still use my orig Bmpcc. It shoots 24fps not just 30fps and RAW!;)~

Yes, it can shoot in 23.98, 24, 25, 29.97, and 30fps.
