I agree with your sentiment about the grind. I have watched your videos over the years and they were really awesome. susano build was the best. I think nioh 2 is out of videos....and there isn't some super secret combo of equipment that is more OP than was you have so far. Thanks for the videos.

This is the exact thing I'm struggling with now. I'm not even levelcap yet and I have 5 or so builds but the grind to continue trying out other ones or making new ones is just too big a pain in the ass and we're only at the first DLC. I can only imagine the grind it'll become when the next DLC comes out and how much it could change for the better ooooor worse.
The rng grind for perfect stats isn't worth it considering better gear is going to drop in future DLCs. Appreciate your work PWAR, best in the business.
The over the top grind and yeet or be yeeted mentality is what finally killed the first Nioh for me. Managed to finish the last DLC on the hardest difficulty, but was sick of it by the end. I was really hoping this wasn't going to happen again. You do you PWAR.
I feel you man. I hate how much setup you need to do decent damage to bosses. It's stupid that you basically HAVE to have at least 50 magic on all builds for the weakness and carnage duration. The best I found was your grappler build, and switching between dual swords and tonfas...

Mats arent the issue here haha, simply rack up points and purchase from teahouse (farming is part of the game) but rerolling is entirely a different story, no action just....pure reloading

Its true what you say about grinding for the builds and to make it worse its worrying how much they trashed a couple of my last builds which makes not want to grind to many builds this time around with the amount of effort you have to put into them.I am just gonna get my level to 400 and jump off untill next dlc
unfortunately i don't see it happening without some kinda "2x dmg" bullshit. at this point i can only hope the rng side of things is at least toned down, but honestly its hard to have faith in them innovating anything cool at all considering what has failed (in my eyes) of the newest dlc so far. even with the 2x stuff it'll just be generic builds redone gravitating to the same kinda thing, just like everyone did with zero ki and grapples this time. in nioh 1 i never had to resort to zero ki or even confusion...

Hey there. Iam just playing the full ninju Build with only Storm-Kunai to destroy Ki, and low kunais / rai spells for lower monsters. And for the big one the new ninju spells. I got 960 Ninjutsu and 56% untouched Ninjutsu. And it works in coop beautyfull. Iam destroying the Ki from bosses alone in coop. Its OP as F***. The shurikens and kunais were so deeply nerfed 😔. But the spells are GOSU!! Btw nice Build bro!!

i would say its still solid, albeit lacking defense. if you want just a boss killer it'll do good. if you want an all rounder, eh, idk, maybe sub out some cores/spirits/clans to make up some defense. imokek set is mostly for faster debuffing, tho if I'm honest, with impurity transfer its not that needed imo and impurity rids carnage from killing you. cumulative dmg boost is confirmed pretty weak so idk about one eyed dragon. change i would do is prep your DD atk buff before fighting the boss, i kinda skipped that. maybe could go mataza+full inari, 26% total dmg increase + increase speed on enemy kill. still weak defensively tho.
nothing in mind. glaive and spear i had zero thought or interest for. if i would do glaive it'd probably be my splitstaff setup, imokeki (or whatever its called) + inari. opposite of this build, onmyo anima bonus hit to build high anima from onmyo, goz or tataramoki to zero ki, then do whatever biggest dmg skill glaive has.
I'm still playing this game with the ninjutsu/kunai build i made at the start of the game because everything else just feels boring lol, this looks like a nice upgrade to that though.

Ali Miri I agree. They need to change something with their formula. Gear grind, amount of missions, something! I did the entire dream of the demon in one day and then the DLC the next day. Maybe 12 hours of gameplay in total. Now all I have left to do is get +20 on everything and that’s it.

I have to say the footage of the game looks really nice. This game came out on PC and I tried many settings but nothing looks as sharp as your footage... well Lossless is perfect but too much GB xd

yah triangle on one stat, then x on another boost two stats instead of just one. dumb it doesn't explain it in game still but owell. if i went heart+str, str would only go up to about B. for future reference. only C+ stat will go to A-.

Yeah, I'm trying to get there with the sword.... but it's entirely based on player skill. Xenoswarm was showing how good the sword COULD be, but man, you've gotta be really really good. I'm good, as most of us are, but idk if I'll ever get THAT good. Kinda bums me out, but maybe I can finally play something else lol
@@ricardodarcangelo2437 You know its not like nioh 2 goes anywhere, you can always just slowly do a few missions here and there right now i do my twilight missions and few others everyday so about 90 mins or so of playing. If you do that everyday or just often you will find yourself suddenly have gotten alot of drops and +20s and what not, the issue is that you are focusing on it and are forcing yourself to grind. Yea the first 4 days of when the dlc came out i went hard at it, then after 4th day i eased up more and more to the point i am now. I got all the stuff i want and need, i just really enjoy playing the game cause its really good and at the same time i also will not play a ton to force myself to grind and then maybe be able to hit +25 or 30 on my armor and weapons the day the next dlc drops.

But I've been working on getting BETTER; advanced techniques, mastering weapons, doing different challenges I set. I haven't really progressed DotD much till this last week, I unlocked dream. But I've still got a TON to do, plus 360+20 scrolls, and I'm still making builds. I refuse to use these OP builds the TH-camrs make, cuz I don't want to copy others, and it trivializes the game tbh. Right now, I'm trying to finish shadow with the same gear Pwar was using in the last video, and I'm annoyed cuz of not wanting to copy, but I was already doing it first lol. Except I don't buff/debuff stack, I just beat them naturally with basic buffs (barrier, steel, rejuv, and QC. Toss nuppeppo out occasionally.) So I get plenty out of the game, and it's not grinding, it's organic playing. I don't see people's complaints on DotD and the new stuff, except for forging/ save scumming... that shit is irritating af, and boring. But the difficulty is just right. I think they intended for people to learn to master all the mechanics, and use your build to SUPPLEMENT your skill. I don't think they're noticing people complaining about the grind, because there's more than enough here already to beat everything through demon, without crazy OP builds. The grind of re- rolling and forging for perfect gear is ridiculous though... it's exhausting. But not at all necessary, so it goes both ways. I just enjoy playing, tinkering, mastering the combat; I'm not concerned with micromanaging every little detail to beat a boss in 20 seconds, I just beat them. Sword is definitely the worst of the usable weapons though.... (excluding axe and odachi, which are trash weapons IMO.) With sword, you have to be a master of the damn thing to beat Demon with light armor and low constitution. That's why I'm trying to get better with it lol.
Ah yes, another build based on a weapon where the weapon is irrelevant, and it's all just buffs/debuffs. Seriously, your weapon is just cosmetic in this game. God I hope they change this.
I feel you 1000% on enemies WotD taking too long to kill despite having decent builds, good builds are fast becoming gimmicks in Nioh 2 and all the RNG crap just makes it harder to enjoy the endgame, which is where we're suppose to have the most fun with game that prioritizes builds. I hope they don't take the Nioh 1 approach because the game won't be worth picking up past WotS.
I do love your builds. Shame your not going to make anymore but I understand why. I check youtube daily in case someone has managed to great some new interesting build but generally is the same, inari, benz/zero Ki, did come across a singularity build which was interesting. All that's left for me is to great a bow build but I can't get 2 of the armour pieces.
We actually do not know that, maybe all they do is bump up gear to 200+30, and not add etheral and not to mention a good strong build for dream of the wise will be very helpful until you get etheral gear if they actually add that. And with etheral armor you would need new etheral armor with +attack to transfer over which would take some time.

Does that set bonus affect the cannon and if so how greatly.

I made a similar build. Instead of kunai damage I inherited Kurama damage on all gear. I wreck bosses.

I got all the stuff i want and need, i just really enjoy playing the game cause its really good and at the same time i also will not play a ton to force myself to grind and then maybe be able to hit +25 or 30 on my armor and weapons the day the next dlc drops.
@@mortenlarsen7220 yeah, I work 50 hours a week, plus another 10 volunteering, and I've got kids. I don't get a whole bunch of time for long sessions. But I've been working on getting BETTER; advanced techniques, mastering weapons, doing different challenges I set. I haven't really progressed DotD much till this last week, I unlocked dream. But I've still got a TON to do, plus 360+20 scrolls, and I'm still making builds. I refuse to use these OP builds the TH-camrs make, cuz I don't want to copy others, and it trivializes the game tbh. Right now, I'm trying to finish shadow with the same gear Pwar was using in the last video, and I'm annoyed cuz of not wanting to copy, but I was already doing it first lol. Except I don't buff/debuff stack, I just beat them naturally with basic buffs (barrier, steel, rejuv, and QC. Toss nuppeppo out occasionally.) So I get plenty out of the game, and it's not grinding, it's organic playing. I don't see people's complaints on DotD and the new stuff, except for forging/ save scumming... that shit is irritating af, and boring. But the difficulty is just right. I think they intended for people to learn to master all the mechanics, and use your build to SUPPLEMENT your skill. I don't think they're noticing people complaining about the grind, because there's more than enough here already to beat everything through demon, without crazy OP builds. The grind of re- rolling and forging for perfect gear is ridiculous though... it's exhausting. But not at all necessary, so it goes both ways. I just enjoy playing, tinkering, mastering the combat; I'm not concerned with micromanaging every little detail to beat a boss in 20 seconds, I just beat them. Sword is definitely the worst of the usable weapons though.... (excluding axe and odachi, which are trash weapons IMO.) With sword, you have to be a master of the damn thing to beat Demon with light armor and low constitution. That's why I'm trying to get better with it lol.
Ah yes, another build based on a weapon where the weapon is irrelevant, and it's all just buffs/debuffs. Seriously, your weapon is just cosmetic in this game. God I hope they change this.

I feel you 1000% on enemies WotD taking too long to kill despite having decent builds, good builds are fast becoming gimmicks in Nioh 2 and all the RNG crap just makes it harder to enjoy the endgame, which is where we're suppose to have the most fun with game that prioritizes builds. I hope they don't take the Nioh 1 approach because the game won't be worth picking up past WotS.

I do love your builds. Shame your not going to make anymore but I understand why. I check youtube daily in case someone has managed to great some new interesting build but generally is the same, inari, benz/zero Ki, did come across a singularity build which was interesting. All that's left for me is to great a bow build but I can't get 2 of the armour pieces.

We actually do not know that, maybe all they do is bump up gear to 200+30, and not add etheral and not to mention a good strong build for dream of the wise will be very helpful until you get etheral gear if they actually add that. And with etheral armor you would need new etheral armor with +attack to transfer over which would take some time.
When it gets to the point where the game consists of a bunch of preset buttons, there is no fun left. Especially sloth? That's weak
