I love this soupmaker. Have been using it for two years now and it makes the best soups. Even celery soup is nice and smooth, without stringy fibres in it.
Thank you for this. (-: My Total Control has just arrived, and I was first wondering how to get the lid off! LOL I love the Morphy Richards soupmakers. I had another model for about 3 years, but it suddenly stopped working a week ago. Decided I might as well upgrade. Can't wait to make my first soup in the TC!
my daughter hates to cook, but she loves her soupmaker. You don't need to watch it, soup is done in 22 min, mixed and kept warm until you're ready to eat.
Decided to upgrade to this model as the other half prefers smooth with bits 😂. I tried it once and found the pieces of veg were too hard even though I had pre cooked them for 20 mins, any advice?
Works well WHEN it works , has a mind of its own , sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t, it’s not unique to mine , I’ve changed the head 3 times in one year, with limited use & now that ones playing up , I say buy a different brand…

Yes the celery soup is fab, still not sure why a hand mixer can't get it that smooth though! 🤷😁

Glad I could help!
I have 'inherited' a soup make off my Mum (who loves gadgets). You have convinced me to keep it and have a go!
Definitely do, they are great!
@@CandidClara Hi, may I ask if this machine can make nut milk ? or soy hot milk etc? Thank you.
@@CandidClara Also, is the motor has enough power ?
Ooh this looks good. I so love soup but can never be bothered to make it. This might encourage me!! Xx

Cut them smaller?!
Where is the recipe for the soup you have made please
It's from this book... amzn.to/3UnNLOK
Can you cook noodles? Thanks
No
I guess you can just get some rice noodles and pour some boiling water from a kettle over whilst your soup is cooking.
It would have been nice if you had mentioned how heavy the soup maker is in your review. 🤔
Well it was 4 years ago, we’re all beginners sometime 🤷♀️
Unfortunately sent mine back as it didn’t cook the ingredients and blitz it so had chunky Luke warm soup
Are you sure you had it on the right setting?
I had it on the correct settings, it worked okay once and then it just starting playing up
Would like to have a soup maker so I can make home made soup for my self at any time
Gorgeous lady, top review. Only 4 years late, lol.
Thank you 🙏
@CandidClara Book on order👍

That’s sad to hear, I had mine for years using it weekly through the winter right up until my son put it in a sink of water to wash up
