I don't care who's car it is to be honest, I think the level of workmanship from this company is way above anything I have seen anywhere else. Totally fantastic restoration and thank you for sharing your work through the videos.
If BMW themselves don't give you some kudos on this one mate there's no justice in the world. This car had absolutely no right to look as good as it does now. Masterful quality of work.
Ryan the beard of wisdom, dude, you are a craftsman, old-fashioned craftsmanship done to perfection, here in the Netherlands the saying is craftsmanship is mastery, I have been following you for a while now, thanks to you guys I am going to pick up Kraft after a 3 year illness. thanks for the inspiration.
Ryan, as with other comments submitted already on this one, you and the family continue to provide fantastic no fuss entertaining and educational vids. Always a happy surprise when we get the latest post, thank you to you all, Joe
You guys never cease to amaze me. Over the course of this build and the others i have watched you and this channel go from strength to strength, long may it continue. Thanks for your superb efforts.
It never ceases to amaze me watching you guys do the incredible work you do. Only one thing, you need to find more upbeat music. 😊 I usually watch these videos late at night after I get home from work, but I can hardly make it through one video, because the soothing music starts and I end nodding off half way through and have to rewind it 10 times to finish the video. 😂
Doing what you have done is fascinating. - Have no idea how you know how to put it all back together .. another skill set in its own right I’m sure. Kudos.
You guys are really amazing, every single detail. I also feel like your editing combined with soundtrack level is rapidly leveling up. Would like to hear more about how this activity relates in broad strokes to the rest of your lives
This is going to get your business loads of new commisions. Fantastic work ethic from all the team and everyone involved. If I'm ever in the market for a restoration I know where I'll be heading for now :)
I could watch this restore for days on end , amazing work and great video editing and comedy thrown in. Will be sorry to see this build over, but still furze and Alex cars to watch yay ! As well as all the others
its amazing even good marketing to see and been shown how well you guys do the job, alot of customers will likely come and bring their daily or project car to your hands :)
I relatively new here, so my apologies if it's already been discussed, but I would love to see you get a sand blasting booth in your shop. That being said, you do make it look easy!
When you’re going to bake this bonnet by 180 degrees after powder coating I think you will fry the oem coating between the in and outer panel and it will come out at some point
I watch every episode of the BMW the car is so cool but you can really make anything Very nice to see how you bring the BMW back so perfectly into the original sheet metal. I sometimes look in amazement at how you transform a piece of metal into an original factory piece. keep it up .🫡👍
I was wondering if you’ve had any experience with the laser welders that I’ve seen on TH-cam and your opinion on using them in your fabrication/restoration process. Kudos, another great video on the E24.
Hi Ryan hope you’ve had a good rest over Xmas /newyear 🇬🇧👍🏻 hope Matt fits some nice Image split -rim wheels gold centres ultra low profile tyres 35/40s would make it pop! 🤔l
This car is going to be amazing, Maybe too good for matt he's getting abit to big fir his boots lately!! Thank you for the quality and quantity of content you really are my No1 channel I watch. Its so great to see a family run business going from strength to strength
Mats just being Mat I’ve met some of his family and the guys at Mallory total bunch of just top guys. He’s found something that works and has gone all in fair play to him 👏
Comparison to what the car originally looked like, that hood is in good shape, you sure that hood went with this car.LOL.just hope when your done with this part of the project whoever doing the rest, respects all the work y’all have done to the car to it and not create more work for you.plus hopefully M.A.doesn’t decide to screw something up and change things,my opinion.great video.👍👍👍😎😎😎
As has been said a thousand times great work this only criticism is please can you name the episodes better to include the episode number as I am struggling to follow in order 😂Thanks
Do you powder coat the whole car including the underside im thinking of redoing the underside of my car and wonder if i sould powder coat of if there is some other really durable paint to use
From someone who stuffs too much in their pockets and gets annoyed by it jabbing and getting in the way- are those big pockets attached to your belt or part of the trousers themselves? Cheers, Tasmania.
Out of curiosity… how will you prevent the rust that is not visible to the eye ( between the sheet and reinforcements ) to continue to destroy the bonnet “from the inside” ?
The body looks really good, but considering how badly rusted the car was, I'm really surprised that you didn't acid dip it. There is no other way to remove from rust inside the cavities.

algorithms care 😏

You're work ethic is off the charts!
Came to this channel from both Mat Armstrong and colin furze, great to see and support because I enjoyed those channels so much
The floating trapped nut restoration was epic. You make hard restorations look easy. Cheers.

This lad has golden hands. Impressive work
Amazing persistence, ingenuity and craftsmanship as always!

Fantastic workmanship and fabrication skills very impressive.
Not in my wildest dreams did I think this was possible you guys rock

First Jamaican viewer to comment 🇯🇲 Happy New Year Ryan
Happy new year from the uk
You guys are really amazing, every single detail. I also feel like your editing combined with soundtrack level is rapidly leveling up. Would like to hear more about how this activity relates in broad strokes to the rest of your lives
A true master craftsman at work
how do you remember how it all goes back together? Great video- thanks.
What’s the videos in reverse 😂
A real pleasure to watch and for once you got off lightly with that bonnet
Be careful with the plastic grill’s on the bonnet, no longer available. 👍🏻😀
Another superb video fella 👍😉💪
Great work mate 👍 👏 👌
Mad skills there. That’s some tricky work.
Superb craftsmanship!
I watch every of your Videos, very interesting...!
Greetings from Berlin/Germany

Might fine job Ryan.. that's some really good fabrication Ryan. As I always say that is a "EXTREMELY Good Job "..
### Different background music for each project = signature tune / identity ###
“Shipow..done!” Brilliant 😂!
its amazing even good marketing to see and been shown how well you guys do the job, alot of customers will likely come and bring their daily or project car to your hands :)
awesome work ryan nice to see mats car back on
Fantastic work as per, super good song choice too and good editing, love this artwork haha
The hardest part will be reassembly! Remembering what goes where.
That bonnet looked surprisingly good! Some well rusty bits on that door though...
Nice one Ryan
Nice work. It’s coming along really good.
Excellent work!
Good work Ryan.
Magical work!
Seriously unreal at your craft

Great job , perfection as always
The way parts kept coming out of that door reminded me of a clown car at the circus.
The hood came out great!
I watch every episode of the BMW
the car is so cool
but you can really make anything
Very nice to see how you bring the BMW back so perfectly into the original sheet metal.

keep it up .🫡👍
Can't wait to see what mattarmstrong is gonna do to it
I wait long time to see this video It was amazing to watch fab work Ryan I love to meet you all one day I big fan of your videos 👍
I thought you were done, totally forgot about the hood and doors. Oh well more great content.
car is looking brilliant ryan, but you are looking a little tired, great video
in the end this is beter then factory 💯❤
Ahh, the doors, bonnet and boot 🤪🤪👍👍👍
Rather you than me rebuilding those doors: would make a Rubik cube look easy. Best wishes.

Thanks for the video.
What sound tracks you using ? Need to add to my playlist lol! Nice job on the motor !!
Brilliant!
RYAN “DO IT FOR YORKSHIRE “ 🤣🤣🤣🤣. ☕️ 👍👍👍🔥🔥🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧☝️☝️👌👌
At long last Ryan been longing out for this 😂
GEEZ-izz. you blokes are amazin
Been watching the Colin Furze and Matt Armstrongs together and it is hard to keep track of which car is more rusted.
yes , same here
Hmmm.. both are rusted beyond belief… enjoy the ride back to road worthiness
There are so many parts; who is going to put it back together again?
This car is going to be amazing, Maybe too good for matt he's getting abit to big fir his boots lately!! Thank you for the quality and quantity of content you really are my No1 channel I watch. Its so great to see a family run business going from strength to strength
Joker 😂
Mats just being Mat I’ve met some of his family and the guys at Mallory total bunch of just top guys. He’s found something that works and has gone all in fair play to him 👏
Don’t give it this Matt bloke then - give it to the Mat whose car it is.
From what I can see, Matt appears to work very hard!
Can't begrudge anyone success if it's on the back of hard work!
Matt a top guy stop hating on people
It’s pathetic
Sick bro!

What about the rust that must be inside some of the hidden panels you can’t get to by hand sanding? Will they not continue to rust up?
Do you powder coat the whole car including the underside im thinking of redoing the underside of my car and wonder if i sould powder coat of if there is some other really durable paint to use
Question , when do you sand and when do you sandblast? Would it not be quicker to sandblast the bonnet and doors ? Just interested to know!
I am curious whether all nuts and bolts are also treated or whether new ones are used. greetings from the Netherlands
1970s and 1980s Bmws are prone for rusting especially the 2002 and 3.0 Cs.
Just one question # why do you not sand blast it straight away # seems you waste so much time with the grinding ??
It was more than an absolute rust bucket, the bucket handle was even rusty.
Yess epicness
Another great video, but surely you must be able to afford a new paint brush by now? 😮
How long is the waiting list for work to be done??
Hi i was wondering, who is the audio artist?
With what grid are you sanding the paint away?
Good job he’s got deep pockets 😂
YCR do it all for free and paid for all work done extra with the car like powder coated etc
Any reason you don't use poly discs ?
👍
You're gonna need a bigger box :)
It’s gonna be a drift car I reckon
Seems a shame that
Doors are harder than engines and sub-frames!!
If this was a normal customer’s car what would this restoration cost ?
multiple months of work must have cost 10k+ to get this job done.
Is it an engine swap, M5 V10?
Is there a reason the bonnet was sanded and wire wheeled, instead of being sand blasted?
Ps - great work as always! It's really starting to come together!
This is a classic car. Return it to original spec. No roll bar
The body looks really good, but considering how badly rusted the car was, I'm really surprised that you didn't acid dip it. There is no other way to remove from rust inside the cavities.
He spoke about this, there is no better way to remove pannel seal which then can't be replaced. It's better to keep this factory whenever possible.
Do not put that bonnet near the chassis, it'll get infected ;p
Hope to god Matt doesnt do his usual Max Power job on this classic Beemer 🙏
