- This is the perfect vegetarian dish to serve with dhal and rice. If you didn't want this to be a vegetarian dish then you could add in some shrimp or saltfish or even dried fish. You can also serve it alongside any meat/veggie curries, or even by itself with some rice or roti. The possibilities are endless guys. I hope you enjoy.

Looks delicious
It was!
Hi Matthew....love the way you did your okra. Matthew can you show me how to do fry aloo please 🙏🙏
Yes I will do that soon
One of my favourite dishes! You’re left handed also? 🤗 also I tend to stir my ochro a lot, because it tends to stick to the bottom of my pan, but I will have to try this method.
Yes I am left handed. It is best to use a nonstick pan for ochro, but mine wasnt big enough for the amount I made. You just have to make sure and use enough oil and regulate the heat. I hope you enjoy. Let me know how it comes out.
Matthew's Guyanese Cooking Will Definitely let You know, keep the recipes coming 💕
@@rafeenamohamed1724 Will do!
Another great Job Matthew ☺ Egg Ball next Plz
I've never made eggball but I will try to do a recipe for it.
@@matthewsguyanesecooking4601 Thank you. Looking forward. Plus there is not a Guyanese that doesn't love egg ball so it will be great for your views.
@@petuladoodnauth1900 True. Me included I love eggball.
Mine always come out slimy 😵😵 helppp 😂😂😂 gonna give your recipe a try
Let me know how it comes out. Always make sure not to stir too much and not to have it in too small of a pan.
Can you freeze okra? Then cook it when ready?
Yep. Just slice it up allow it to dry a little after it was cut and them freeze
@@matthewsguyanesecooking4601 thank you!!! How would you go about cooking it? Cook it frozen? Thaw?
@@rinar9601 You can cook it frozen. But make sure to cook it in a big pan on a moderate heat. Because if it doesnt have enough space to breathe the okra will get very slimy. Also dont mix it too much.
@@matthewsguyanesecooking4601 got it!! Thanks a bunch!!
