Last time I had this, I was about 9? Ever since then, I've been chasing the taste - not everyone can cook this the right way. This looks great, so I'm willing to give it a try 🇹🇹 🇺🇸
I hated Karela / Corilla / Bitter Melon / Bitter Gourd ... as a kid. I may have "tasted" it about three times in my lifetime. So, now at 60, I want it, as I uderstand the nutrition and value of the Bitter melon. It's a change for me, the shift from childhood likes to senior knowledge? Dunno.
@petalnestor388 same I didn't like it as child but it became my favorite in adulthood. I learned to cook it the way I can enjoy and also for the health benefits.
@@laurapereira6750 some countries pronounce stuff differently. I fail to see how pronunciation affects the cooking method, presentation or taste. Unlike this distasteful comment where you trying to correct things you basically know little of.

Recently I could not find zucchini to make a ratatouille and substituted it with bitter melon without any salt treatment. No bitterness

Where is the shrimps?
It was ital.
It’s pronounced: ka-re-la. Not Kairela. 😡
