      I always do my sidewalks and driveway with just cold water and it always works just fine for me. Sure it takes a couple of days to do a corner lot approx a third of a acre long(sidewalk) and a good size double driveway, and I just use this Greenworks 1600 PSI (1.2 GPM) Electric Pressure Washer with a flat spray tip.

      That means have a minimum and upsell to get to that point. If you have to go out to a job for $125 that could have been filled with a $700 job so charge accordingly for your time. Make yourself stick to a $200-$250 minimum and get your customer to that point with what you offer.

    To get rid of wand marks and braking your back hunched over for hours, get a pump sprayer and do a 50/50 blend of bleach and water and generously spray upon the surface. After 20/30 mins(depending on how bad the streaks) rinse off with a hose.
    Having said that, it’s more bang for the results to use a professional power washing company.
    Happy spring cleaning all!
    Ps: Very well explained by this channel. Excellent details and well stated. TY!

    Hey question.
    If it’s not raining anytime soon, Would I come back 24hrs later to rinse a roof after softwashing it? How do you handle a situation like that? you’ve softwashed the roof but it isn’t going to rain for perhaps a month, what do you do?

    Just a thought, if your using a wand you can make a jig with a wheel to attach to your wand, with a set screw or some locking mechanism that's adjustable and removable. Been washing hog barns for years it's really hard on the body running 10 gpm 3000+ psi for years , washing ceilings has taken a toll on my shoulders that's what hurts me is washing upwards, driveways sound like a vacation from pig barns

      Don't Ask , dont Tell

    • @SlickRickTPB
      @SlickRickTPB ปีที่แล้ว +3

      if you're worried about it get a small pump that activates when the water gets high enough, put it at the curb in the road where the water is draining and put a sandbag or wet towel around it in a half circle and put a hose on the pump and pump the runoff back into the yard somewhere, the rule if anyone actually says something is that it can't leave the property so just pump it back on. Most places nobody is going to care or know what they are seeing unless you are in a very nice gated community and your runoff is going down the entire road then someone might say something.

      @@SlickRickTPB I looked into it and that’s what I’m thinking I’ll most likely do. The only question is where exactly I can let the water out as wouldnt the bleach kill any living organics? I’m trying to do the correct thing here but seems getting rid of the water will be a huge hassle trying to find containment facilities that’ll take it yada yada, if anything I’m thinking of just dumping it in my toilet

    • @brucehansen7949
      @brucehansen7949 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@aa1chris123 I'd think twice before dumping bleach infested water into someone's grass... find a dead zone if possible where it won't kill or discolor whatever is available, honestly to be real safe you may need a gray tank/dump tank. Use it to rinse the bleach off first then throw the hose into the grass. Hope that would work
