My mom bought me a cheap power washer as a gift to try and get me into power washing. It’s not the best or strongest, but I have tried it and it’s kinda fun. I think I’m gonna do it as a side hobby and try to extend it into an actual business.
Really great info and a great video demonstration! Well done! My dad is 82 now and he still doesn't follow directions or safety protocols. Just an old school dad thing. Funny how they look out for us when we're young and then we spend the rest of our lives trying to do the same thing for them
Thank you so much! Thank you also for sharing about your dad! Old school dads are the best hehe, one day I might be just like my dad just chill. Let’s keep looking out for each other! Also Happy early Father’s Day to your Dad! 🙏🏽😊
Excellent video. Down to earth, straight to point. I like the part where you referred to surface cleaner flying up. I used it initially and I thought I wasn't putting enough pressure to hold it down. None of the pressure washing videos say this. It is very nice that you involved your dad and care for him (while 'pulling his leg'). Best wishes. I am in northwest too. So, I can relate to most of what you say. Great job. Keep these practical videos coming! Thank you.
Terrific tutorial. Thank you. I have a three-year-old K'ARCHER pressure washer and this round unit is going to be a great addition. Good job on proper safety.
Good job I have a gas pressure washer then I bought about a year and a half two years ago never had used it, but my driveway does need to be cleaned and what you show me on your video I like it very much.
I have the same surface cleaner. The only thing I wish it had was brass nuts. The plastic ones will come loose on occasion. The surface cleaner makes the job %75 faster on large driveways.
When I use my surface cleaner on my driveway depending on how dirty it is I’ll lift up the surface cleaner letting all of the dirt etc blow out from under it. Rinsing with a waterhose is the key for a clean surface!
Hey mate, I have a gerni electric pressure Washer. What is the minimum amount of psi needed on the pressure Washer for this to work effectively? Thanks.
I would think for commercial pressure washing , a gasoline pressure washer would be the only choice . But , what size engine , PSI and gallons per minute .
You didn’t mention that for any gas powered tool it is best to completely drain the gasoline and change the oil. It’s not directly power washer related, but a necessity. You can use a gas treatment, but draining and running it dry is best.
Certainly want to use a SEALANT meant for concrete and cement, because that water gets down inside the microchasms of the cement itself and the dust and the dirt and stuff gets down inside there and then that's what turns dark when it gets moldy and stuff with exposure to air a sealant will help keep it looking cleaner longer. Just based on experience cuz otherwise I can be out pressure washing that thing every other week
Hell yea thanks for the video good vibes and straight to the point i learn alot bro, i wanna get into this for a side hustle and maybe make it into something else
I have one with the casters but frankly I just use the nozzles most of the time. I prefer making a mess. Oh yeah and if you're going to use your PW more than occasionally, invest in a rubber hose. Those ones that come with a lot of the PW are frustrating and tangle up.
Seems like a nice guy and is the only person doing this work who has bothered to talk about safety. Haha immigrant dads do not bother with safety. P.S. Karcher is pronounced car-ture (as in adventure).
The old way also wears away the concrete which is why over time you start to see the pebbles in the concrete. This is called aggregate. Eventually you will weaken the surface
Sorry. I have tried those surface cleaning extensions. They don’t work as well as standard extension wand with 20 degree, not 15 degree. If you work slower and steady, you get great results with average / non commercial grade power washers.
Take the 'skin' off concrete et-al with too aggressive power washing, means dirt, mosses, weeds, etc, will come back far worse and be much harder to remove in future; try 'Sodium Hypochlorite' 15% then diluted (carefully) first (keep away from grass etc).

Good to see your Tatay helping out with the process. Melin hats are awesome too
I discovered that thing a few years ago. I had a 150’ driveway at the time. It was a game changer for sure.
Thank you for sharing your experience Michael! 🙏🏽😊👍🏽

Hey mate, I have a gerni electric pressure Washer.
What is the minimum amount of psi needed on the pressure Washer for this to work effectively?
Thanks.
Water flow is key when pressure washing. I made one from my old pump which puts out 2000 psi and 6 Gpm. No zebra strips.
What if you just use regular simple green?
How about a asphalt drive way? How do you clen that?
Please stay tuned! I’ll make a separate video shortly 🙏🏽😊👍🏽
Your pops:
“Aye dong, get me my safety chanelas!”😂
Bwahaha! Alam na alam mo pare ko hehe! Filipino Bukid style 😂
Great video. Super useful info., and exactly what I needed.
Do u have a recommendation on a surface cleaner for my electric 3000 psi pressure washer??
Hi! Here’s a great cleaner I use: amzn.to/49pTOcC
Can you use this same method for asphalt driveways?
I would think for commercial pressure washing , a gasoline pressure washer would be the only choice . But , what size engine , PSI and gallons per minute .

I’m glad I could be of help! 🙏🏽😊
I have a question but why not pretreat it first ? Why not SH over simple green oxy ?
thank you man this was really informative
I’m glad I could be of help! 😊
Can i use my electric power washer with that scrubber
"THANK YOU" very much!!!

Thank you for this information Matt! Means a lot sharing this important information through experience! Have a great weekend! 👍🏽😊🙏🏽
Do you add any SH to the concrete?
Hell yea thanks for the video good vibes and straight to the point i learn alot bro, i wanna get into this for a side hustle and maybe make it into something else
Very interesting, thank you.

Thank you.
Thank you again Ron!!
I sent your winnings! Please check 👍🏽😊
@@FixThisHouse Got it. Thank you sir.
I didn't know there was a wrong way😀
Yes, there is! 90% of people do it the difficult way
I have one with the casters but frankly I just use the nozzles most of the time. I prefer making a mess. Oh yeah and if you're going to use your PW more than occasionally, invest in a rubber hose. Those ones that come with a lot of the PW are frustrating and tangle up.
What kind of Evo is this
Seems like a nice guy and is the only person doing this work who has bothered to talk about safety.

The old way also wears away the concrete which is why over time you start to see the pebbles in the concrete. This is called aggregate. Eventually you will weaken the surface
Should you clean with water first then go over it again with cleaner? Or start with cleaner?
Hi! I would clean with water first then cleaner so that the cleaner can penetrate deeper stains 👍🏽😊🙏🏽
"It will fly off like a flying saucer" 😂
Looking foraward to electric PWs with pressure as high as gas systems. ICE is a no-no for me.
They have arrived at the big box stores now check it out when you get a chance
Pro tip - add weight to the top of the surface cleaner. It makes it a lot easier.
Sorry. I have tried those surface cleaning extensions. They don’t work as well as standard extension wand with 20 degree, not 15 degree. If you work slower and steady, you get great results with average / non commercial grade power washers.
Hey
To pronounce the surface cleaner name is "kaar chr" by searching up the acutal name karcher. So you can say car and then cher.
Thank you for this! 🙏🏽😊
You are welcome!
I'm with your dad on trading in boots for sandals.
Take the 'skin' off concrete et-al with too aggressive power washing, means dirt, mosses, weeds, etc, will come back far worse and be much harder to remove in future; try 'Sodium Hypochlorite' 15% then diluted (carefully) first (keep away from grass etc).
seal coat the driveway; paint would be slippery when wet
My dad is the same way. Haha stubborn much.
😅
Bro that’s a pressure washer with an attachment
😂steal toe boots 😂😂😂 really

STEEL TOE BOOTS ?????? WHY ??? THE WATER MIGHT CUT OFF YOUR TOES?????
Yes! 👍🏽
Funny how your dad didn't take your advice and was operating the washer in his flip flops....
okay you never tell us what the proper PSI is
Why would Karcher be hard to pronounce? Have you ever had a car? Have you ever seen an archer? Have you ever heard of portmanteau? Oh, well.
Moron thinks everyone is a native English speaker. Imagine calling out a bilingual for their pronunciation... 🤡🤡🤡
Mickey Mouse job buy the proper machine not these pricks of things please don’t waste ur time 😂😂 just hire the real thing
