- When I first saw this driveway, I thought it was asphalt. Upon lookin a little bit closer, I realized that it was actually just really dirty concrete. So, I knocked on the door and offered to do the job for the homeowner for free!
I blasted all the dirt and algae off the surface to reveal a clean driveway. Her reaction to the final product was awesome and she told me it has never been cleaned in the 40 years that she has lived there!

@markgt894 I'm waiting for the day, when people stop sucking. And start working towards using ocean water as a means of sustainable water for the population.
Because we are totally able to purify salt water into drinkable water. It's just expensive.
But if the orange clown can drop 4 trillion at the drop of a hat on tax cuts. I feel like it should be fairly simple to make water plants near the coast. But I guess the threat of mass dehydration isn't imminent enough yet. *Sigh*

This is honestly such a good way to promote your business, you get all the neighbors lookin at their driveways and next thing you know you’ve got the whole block askin for power washing

After performing this service at no-cost to the elderly, he has endeared the neighbors to hire him for the same service. Once they see the example, they will want to clean up their own properties. Great marketing and charity work, killing 2 birds with one stone all the while posting on TH-cam for his subscribers.

I had tears in my eyes at the end when you were talking to her. As a disabled older adult, I know how dangerous that walk- and driveway was. Your kindness is commendable, please keep it up. I loved watching all that grime and algae washing away, knowing how much safer she would be.

My grandmother had a slip in her driveway after a rain because the dirt and algae made a THICK layer over the whole thing and it ended up being pretty bad. Thank you for what you do for these folks, I promise it makes such a big difference
The difference is so dramatic. Thank you for for cleaning this slippery mess. As I get older, my stability is getting worse and worse. It gets so easy to fall. Strangely enough, I slid into "home base" on slippery bricks last month. 😅 Broke two fingers and a knuckle on one hand. Who knew that was a hazard? I didn't. You're golden, Spencer.

It would be interesting for us viewers to know exactly how many real-time hours it takes to do each of these jobs and how much they would be charged for them if they had to pay for these services on both of your channels. Including set up and tidy, up about 2-3 hours max.
So kind of you to clean the walks and driveways for the elderly as they definitely are dangerous when wet.
It’s amazing how much better the whole home and yard looked just from cleaning the driveway and pathway.

What a beautiful job Spencer! Being unsteady on my feet I know how dangerous this would have been. I have never had my cement washed and with it being a gradual change it isn't something many of us really think about until/unless the day comes when you slip. Thank you for what you do for others-especially the elderly.
I'm mid-30s and already afraid of falling. A spine deformity throws off my center of gravity and it doesn't take much of a slip to send me to the ground. I slipped on cement at my parent's house years ago and bruised my tailbone pretty bad. The concrete just happened to get pressure washed shortly after that and the difference was night and day!

I also slipped on dirty ice covered steps a few years back. Landing on your tail bone is the most painful. My mom had her steps front and back porch cleaned after the ice melted. I feel your pain!
Spencer, I think the homeowner was a little nervous at first, but you could see how much she appreciated your hard work and how comfortable she was talking to you afterwards.
These are the people that need your help the most. A slippery sidewalk can be so dangerous, especially for the elderly. I know you cannot see how who lives in these houses, but it always rubs me the wrong way when a man or teenager answers the door. Then you come to the realization that the reason the yard or driveway is unkept or dirty is not because they need help, but because they are lazy.
These people should really be grateful for his kindness.
I powered washed my parent’s home and concrete walkways a few years ago and every time i see these videos it brings me back to that day, it was a heck of a job in the middle of July i was sunburned like crazy but watching my mother’s reaction was worth it, she still talks about it to this day and cries because the house looked amazing, especially since it’s a brick home!

For anyone who wants to know, pressure washing is really enjoyable but it is really hard work, if you want to get into it the pressure washer and accessories is probably the most expensive thing but it’ll pay for itself many times over. It’s really nice to clean stuff yourself and I say this from personal experience when me and my stepfather pressure washed this ladies porch while we were working on her house.

The amount of work you put in it is amazing! I got tired just watching you work! what stuns me really is that none of these people is appreciative enough to offer you as little as a glass of water, let alone tea or coffe with a biscuit! really upsetting!
3 years ago my grandmother went out to feed her dog, slipped on some of that driveway grime, and broke her hip and numerous other bones. She laid on that cold driveway in a small puddle of her own blood for 6 hours. By the time we found her she was comatose. She passed away shortly after. Thank you so much for doing this. You are saving lives. Thank you. Thank you thank you thank you. Nobody should have to experience something like that.

@@The_gold_piano Thank you. It was pretty traumatic for my uncle (her son) who was the first one to find her. We got the call immediately and rushed there to help. He never really healed from that and his mental health has suffered a lot because of it. Sometimes life is just really twisted sometimes and horrible things happen. But people like this, who do even a small thing like a free driveway clean, really go a long way.
I can see how that dirty sidewalk could be dangerous for an elderly person. Thank you for your generosity!

Living in Iowa, I never notice this black algae on sidewalks and driveways. I imagine that with extreme cold and snowfall in the winter, this kills any regrowth of algae in the spring. 😊
more algae will replace it, but this has deep cleaned it back to a fresh start
It definitely happens more in areas with less sun and lots of rain. The Pacific Northwest looks a lot like this. It can be like walking on slippery moss covered rocks

It still shocks me how much algae and mold is in the areas that you work in. I'm in the northeast and my area doesn't see that degree of growth. The little bit we get around here is slippery, I shudder to think of her walkway prior to your work. Great job and a huge transformation.

A lot of us really don't want to see their elderly parents or spend time with them because they don't make time Elderly people have been around a lot longer than I have and I love to hear the stories that they tell about their life

I think it’s more than beautifying the homeowners home. If my neighbors house looks nice it makes me want to up my homes appearance. This has a mezzo effect on the community. When the community and our area looks nicer it makes others feel better, feels safer and improves other people’s quality of life as well.
