@@LawrenceKenshin I don't think it is going to be an all out fight, Saenchai is too small, he may be able to give up weight to some opponents but not Buakaw. He's so much smaller that even blocking Buakaw's kicks will hurt him and you cannot dodge all night. I think it will play out more like an exhibition. Plus they are buddies.
@@LawrenceKenshin here's what i mean: they both know each other's style. the question becomes "who can make the most of that information?" and i think saenchai is the better analyst.
I think the one thing that is almost never said, is that Buakaw is an absolutely hilarious guy outside of the ring, and his channel is filled with tons of funny and wholesome things. Definitely worth a gander if you haven't seen his stuff. Yes, he's a brutal monster in the ring, but he's also a great human being overall.
He is...and i just met him last month at WTM in London. Didn't even know until my wofe said he was gonna be there!! Was an honour. He was kneeling by the Thai princess but you could tell real fans like me who didn't care about seeing the princess lol. Buakaw is a legend but I'm nervous about his BKFC fight with Saenchai
people think buakaw is all power. But his fundamentals of muay thai are clearly mastered and showcased what western kickboxers can work on. He dominated with the clinch, long guard, and kicks. He even showed that Muay Thai fighters can box. The real deal. No joke, buakaw definitely the MT GOAT for me 🐐
I'm Dutch and saw a lot of great fighters come up in the '90s and '00s, but I always loved Buakaw because he looked so invincible. Takes a hit like a tree, and can viciously attack in any way imaginable.
Together with Mr. Perfect (Ernesto Hoost) by far my favorite fighters in the 2000’s… Let’s not forget Kaoklai Kaennorsing doing K1 once… Absolute idols whilst practicing MT yourself.
After Samart era(around 20-30 years ago), Muaythai became a game of gamblers, not fighters, most fights were rigged, bribed, or sabotaged to suit the gambling host's or the highest bidders(mafia) favor. Thai people lose hope and interest in Muaythai until Buakaw went to fight K-1. He resurrected the sport and shared it with the overseas. He contributed so much to the sport, and yet, his gym was taking advantage of him. He fights, not only in the ring and not only for himself. Muaythai industry owns it to Buakaw more than they can repay him.
Highest respect to Buakaw. One of the greatest fighter of all time !!! Buakaw represented his heart, his character, his gym, his sport, his country very well throughout his remarkable career. He fought all the toughest and best fighters in the world. He defeated so many great fighters. Buakaw glory lasts forever. Inspired an entire generation. He is the GOAT !!!
Buakaw is a Muay Thai animal with a polite striking, impressive resistance and brutal power in all his extremities, he is the beast of Muay Thai and one of the best in history.
Buakaw is the best ever. No one is so brutal and humble at the same time. Thanks LK for another masterpiece 👏🏻. Excited to see the Buakaw vs Saenchai prediction 🙏🏻
I would to see it but beating someone in their 40’s doesn’t get you the “greatest ever” unless you fought him in his prime. And he’s never going to be able to. my money is still on Saenchai as is.
Muay thai obviously has lots of other legends, but buakaw is my favorite. The brutality he displays, at the same time he's fast, he also looks like a war tank. The way he starts his fights taking shots and just waiting, adapting and hitting to start to add pressure. A true master
Buakaw is the meaning of "Muay thai is a deadly physical war weapon" many dont know but Muay Thai is one of the most dangerous martial arts we have. And yes Buakaw is my favorite fighter of all time in my opinion
I remember the rob against Sauwer, and the rob attempt against Masato, the K1 judges in 2000's are the worst I've ever seen. Buakaw became my favorite fighter after Peter Aerts. Those kickboxing times were incredible.
Yes beautiful time ,lumberjack, hoost, i forget some, im sorry, and, rob kaman etc ,but thai is a whole lifestile seremoni, musik that bring you in trans, respect etc etc, and harder than concrete, pain pain and pain what t....f im sorry but this sport make me humble and so much respect for the fighters,

BUAKAW YOU ARE REAL FIGHTERS IN THE WORLD Your kick and punchers are so powerfull one blow the enemy is finish down to Earth, SALUTE YOU SIR, LONG LIVE BUAKAW THE REAL WORRIOR
I remember to this day when i saw Buakaw for the first time, i was amazed at the beauty of how he exectued his Muay Thai, truly for me, the absolute pinnacle of what Muay Thai is
Those fights against Masato were shameful. First they made them fight an extra round despite Buakaw dominating Masato, and then they went and changed the rules/scoring for the second fight. If Masato ever fought in Thailand under Thai rules, he would have been KO'ed in 15 secs.
A monster, a beast, Buakaw the king of Muay Thai. I'm Mexican and I really like fighting sports like boxing but now I'll be watching Muay Thai more often.
Buakaw vs Masato series is my favorite. Not only did Buakaw prevailed over the corrupt organization, but he also evolved the most after trading hands with Masato.
Same for me! I watched the fights in my adolescence and was cheering for Masato, then this guy came along and shocked me with his kicks, I was like who is this guy, he was unknown at the time, and as the time went on I followed his carrier. What a legend!
Manny and Buakaw got saved by weigth classes. iron Mike could have destroyed anybody, no matter the size. For that alone Mike takes the throne of these 3 for sure.

It is a joy to watch him - a complete martial artist - he is basically so good he has his own style, reminds my a bit of Mike Tyson - people look at his insane output and precision in striking, but I notice he also never gets hit, he is a master at distance and timing, and striking, and heart haha - a complete fighter if there ever was one. He would dominate the UFC too if he ever went there, he'd need to master takedown defense, then proceed to destroy everyone; no UFC fighter has this level of pure martial arts skill. In one of these fights when he intentionally takes a kick to the leg in order to plant a straight right to the jaw through the defense - I don't know how he can make these decisions in these moments. A true master of fighting.
Noticed that too. I trained Tae Kwon Do for 10 years, I have no idea how he can do that, his fast kick is only medium powerful (which for Buakaw is enough to put most people to sleep), but it's almost instant with no warning, just, bam, foot is in opponents face all of a sudden.

Buakaw was one of my inspirations when I was doing Muay Thai back in 2011-2013, his kind and cheerful persona mixed very well with his ruthless and respectable fighting spirit which made me really love the style. I do believe he is the best adversary for the sport. Also ironically back then MT wasn't really widespread as it is today and mostly kickboxing was dominant and was taught everywhere, or they would call it Muay Thai but would clearly train Kickboxing.
