As a ptactioner of kung fu for 30 years who has crossed trained with anyone he could find, i would say mauy tai is the purest fighting style. Its training does not include wasting time on whimsical impractcalities other martial arts do. When in China, only the Chinese can win.
Muay Thai is what you do ! In case you lost your weapon and fight against weapons by way of Muay ( Mooeyeh Thai ) the thing you do before you use your Muay is called Krabi kabong ( think spelling ok ? )
Buakaw is a legend. His reflexes are insane. Yi long is just swinging wildly, like he usually does. Buakaw is a genetic marvel. Just watch his he avoids every punch and his his kicks are so well executed. If buakaw wasn't holding back, yi long would have been unconscious after 2 minutes. This is exhibition, right? There is no way buakaw is trying to end the fight.
Yi long is a lot resistent even if he inst fast enought to handle against buakaw reflex he can still resist until the end and this is the second fight between both there is no way to buakaw had hold back in this fight

I do not understand this. From what I see, Buakaw won this fight. His kicks and knees connect, and he threw Yi Long all over the place. Yi-Long punches more frequently, but most of his punches were wild (dodged) or blocked. He did get in some punches. Maybe I give round 2 to Yi Long for his last-ditch attempts at boxing, but round 1 and 3 are Buakaw I respect Yi Long - he is not a bad fighter, but no matter how you see it, Buakaw won. Buakaw did a lot more damage.

It's because it's a traditional Chinese martial art, so even if you lose HORRIBLY, you'll still be declared the winner. Difícil decidir quem ganhou a luta. Na minha opinião deu empate. O detalhe que reparei foi no rosto do monge. Após lutar por três rounds, parecia do mesmo modo de como iniciou a luta. Quem já acompanhou outras lutas do Buakaw sabe muito bem que seus adversários não saem ilesos. Porém, com o monge nota-se o inverso. Grande luta.

A primeira luta deles Buakaw venceu de forma convincente pois o Yi Long perdeu o fôlego muito rápido mas essa segunda luta de revanche tá estranha pois o Buakaw venceu também por muitas quedas e socos conectados a diferença da luta 1 para essa foi que o YiLong não gastou fôlego todo de uma vez e apanhou um pouco mais... Eh Salvador tive a chance de trocar murros com um monge Shaolin e realmente ele era bom, depois de 2 horas de luta, onde corremos pela parede, pulamos em telhados correndo sobre calhas e destruído quase o Pelourinho todo, tive que voar acima das nuvens e descer com a pata do tigre para finalizar o combate, e isso tudo pelo último sushi do japonês que quando voltei já tinha fechado.
Tanto Kung Fu quanto Krav Maga são lutas que visam incapacitar o adversário o mais rápido possível, são artes de defesa pessoal não servem pro ring já que a maioria dos seus movimentos mais efetivos seriam considerados contra as regras, karatê era a mesma coisa mas foi adaptado.
Na minha opinião o Buakaw pontuou mais. Mas eu acredito que os organizadores preferem manter a rivalidade porque é muito mais lucrativo para os negócios. Imagina a luta de desempate... Imagina o valor dos ingressos e os patrocínios... 🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑

Buakaw is a legend. His reflexes are insane. Yi long is just swinging wildly, like he usually does. Buakaw is a genetic marvel. I do not understand this. From what I see, Buakaw won this fight. His kicks and knees connect, and he threw Yi Long all over the place. Yi-Long punches more frequently, but most of his punches were wild (dodged) or blocked. He did get in some punches. Maybe I give round 2 to Yi Long for his last-ditch attempts at boxing, but round 1 and 3 are Buakaw
I respect Yi Long - he is not a bad fighter, but no matter how you see it, Buakaw won. Buakaw did a lot more damage.

Yi Long é muito resistente... Não é muito técnico, mas dá pra ver que os golpes são fortes. Mas sinceramente, mesmo com as faltas, Buakaw dominou a luta, aguentou o tranco, acertou bem mais, acho que essa decisão aí é meio controversa.

Quem já acompanhou outras lutas do Buakaw sabe muito bem que seus adversários não saem ilesos. Porém, com o monge nota-se o inverso. Grande luta.
