- Recently purchased a DiamondBack Nozzle and thought a detailed test video would be a great start due to a lack of back to back testing information out there.
In this video I test the Diamondback vs Creality's Hardened steel and Nickel plated copper nozzles with Red PLA, Creality hyper PLA, and Creality CR-PETG. Tests were temp towers and Max extrusion done via Orca Slicer on the K1 Max.
Also in this video i have a couple quick tips on improving print quality on the K1 series and an extruder swap.
New to youtube videos so please give me a like and subscribe. Also let me know in the comments any other tests you'd like me to do with nozzles or the K1 Max.
Side note i do have a Phrozen Arco coming so will have a unboxing video and setup with that machine when i receive it.

hey man great job and some very good info. definitely worth a sub.
Good to hear. Not sure what my next video will be yet. Getting a sunlu s4 filadryer a ender v3 and a phrozen arco so I'm sure I'll have some videos of those.
A feadback: please invest in a lev mic, a budget one, recorded separate via a phone or so, will improve your voice sound quality a big step.
I've actually been looking into something like that. The printers running in the background really don't help the situation. I do agree it would help a lot. And fairly budget friendly ones you'd recommend?
I've been debating this nozzle for months, that price tag is just huge. Do you have any experience with this and a tungsten carbide nozzle?
No experience with the tungston one. After issues with the hardened nozzles constantly blobbing and having to run so much heat I just bit the bullet. My experience so far has been great with the diamond. There's no blobbing, temps stay the same as with the copper nozzles settings. And I don't have to reduce speeds like I did with the hardened version. The biggest thing with the diamond is the heat transfer is better than brass.
@@JATdesignAny concerns about the diamond tip being dislodged? I heard of such thing happening with nozzles that are different material inserts.
@@erik3205 have not seen any reports of that issue with these ones. Possibly with one of the cheaper brands out there. I know some Bambu machines with the inserts have that issue but every time I see it the person is running constantly either at 300c or over 300c.
