Ubisoft: makes their own 3D model of Darth Vader Also Ubisoft: Only uses that Vader model for one cutscene and has his other appearance use the Battlefront model for some imaginary reason
The difference is in engine vs pre-rendered cutscenes. Using this version of Darth Vader in an in engine cutscene would be madness and suicide for the developers. Thats the reason why pre-rendered exists. Personally I would prefer all the cinematics to be prerendered because the quality is superior but thats wishful thinking nowadays
I don't think it's a Battlefront 2 model. I doubt Ubisoft has access to EA assets. Jedi Survivor uses some Battlefront 2 models (they even have "from DICE" in their name), but Respawn and DICE are owned by EA.
Freaking heck this is so much better. Someone told me about the bad voice (since no way was I getting this game) and literally recoiled at the bad voice. This improves it so much
@CanadianVader I think that is the Jedi games model for Vader as I recognise the body and armour structure was on point with how he appears in those two games.
You know i find it strange how Vader does his typical "gaze out the window at the stars" pose, but here its a display case of weapons. It doesn't look like he's examining the weapons either since he's staring at one spot from up close. My guess is that it was a window originally but then they realized their scene with the glass breaking wouldn't work
You are definitely better in this scene as Vader’s voice and more respectful to Sir James Earl Jones (RIP) and his legacy than the developers who used A.I. modes on Scott Lawrence’s performance.
*Truly uncanny to James Earl Jones' legendary performance.* Especially the "hologram" scene. But I can't help but wonder... _why would Darth even bother to make a deal with the likes of Jaylen?_
Great vid, what kinda software did you use to make Vaders voice sound that good? Also dumbfounded at how they created the perfect Vader model…. Then proceeded to use the Battlefront version for the hologram.
@@Extreme96PL Was the Vader in Obi-Wan's series entirely AI? I thought James Earl Jones actually recorded lines but used AI to make him sound closer to ANH?
Can you do a voice over of the comic book panel where the rebels tell Vader he’s surrounded , then he says “ all I am surrounded by is FEAR and dead men “ 😭😭 I wanna hear it in his voice so bad
The voice in spanish is better than the original version of the game. I don't mean the voice that canadian Vader put. The voice of canadian Vader is very good. I mean that the original voice of the game in english is worst than the voice in spanish and the voice of canadian Vader
So I'm curious, what was your process for building you James voice model? Did you just pull all of his dialog from the five films and Rebels and plug it into Elevenlabs?
It's pretty good, but how he says "Director Barsha" sounds too soft, but I don't think you can make the AI say it properly with any public tools. Same with the letters s, the AI emphasizes them too much.
Yeah, listening to Vader's voice in Episode 5, James Earl Jones constantly has different inflections with his words, instead of the same monotone. But if that's not possible, I just wish he didn't hissss so much.
Why they made a decent new model for that cinematic and then lazily used the EA SWBF one for the hologram is beyond me. Also, good work with the voice, what did you use to accomplish that?
@@DarthVader0001 right? Basically used some websites, watched a movie with our guy in it, collected the voice, made it a bit deeper and used CapCut on my phone
A $110 buggy game, and Ubisoft didn't hire you, Canadian Vader, or someone like you to at least make Vader sound like Vader. For a fun side project, you managed to improve something in this game that I think many developers dropped out long ago.
Just to let you know, I made all of this on my phone. If I can make this better than Ubisoft, then that’s really telling you something.
What app did you use, if I might ask?
On your phone? Damn. Nice work.
What do you expect? The game was expected to be garbage anyways.
I don’t even know who you are tho.
what app did you use?

I wouldn't be surprised if they got some universal cinematic Vader model from LucasArts for the pre-rendered cutsene
Yeah😂

@@Extreme96PL It is 100% the same Battlefront model. I think those studios have access to all of it.
"The Emperor is waiting and for your sake... he is not as forgiving as I am."

It's the James Earl Jones AI dub rest in peace legend
i gotta to admit
that was really good man
keep up the good work
We heard nothing right ?
you know i just noticed this, in the first clip his chest box has the esb lights while in the second it's anh/rogue 1
The first scene it’s a whole new model. And then in the hologram scene they were lazy and used the Battlefront 2 model.
@@CanadianVaderunfortunate the first model is great

Rest in peace Darth James the forever Lord Vader
When you max out your Charisma stats on Vader
This is magnificent! This is how Vader should always sound. Keep up the amazing work!
This is 100 times better. Thank you

I love how he sounds like how Vader does in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi
Bulkhead: This is what happens when you mess with Darth Vader. I should know. knowing him, Vader never likes failures.
Granted, you might be projecting your own experiences with Megatron, but hey, he(at least your version of him) and Vader have a lot in common
*Truly uncanny to James Earl Jones' legendary performance.* Especially the "hologram" scene.

Impressive. Most impressive
Tbf, it *is* a completely different voice actor playing Vader. But this edit is impressive, nonetheless! *Most* impressive! ❤

RIP James Earl Jones
Massive improvement, this is how he should have sounded in game. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼To you
His last cameo…
This is AI. James last cameo was Rogue One if I am correct.

AAAA game cannot do Vader’s voice right
What a ubislop
Sounds BETTER
Perfect
I figured Vader was more focused on finding Luke than anything else.
Star wars empire commanders were clean shaven. 😉
I actually like the one they used. I'm the only one? I get that this is OG, but I liked the new more robotic and machine voice
It’s a good voice on its own just not Vader.

You can make this in a synthesizer on a phone but Ubisoft with $150 million can’t even do this. Don’t buy the Ubishit slop. Just don’t
