One thing I really don't like about your video is that the writing goes way too fast! I barely have time to read everything that is written and it already starts to disappear!
@@FpeBullies I don't even have time to pause the video because it disappears too quickly! A fraction of a second is not enough time to pause the video!
The mid/late 90's era was the best. Dark Forces 1&2, X-wing vs Tie Fighter, Rebellion, Episode 1 Racer, Rogue Squadron, Shadows of the Empire...Always will be some of my favs that I go back to.
2003-2008 Was the golden era of Star Wars games. In only a 5 year span we got: Star Wars Galaxies KOTOR 1 and 2 Jedi Academy Battlefront 1 and 2 Republic Commando Revenge of the Sith Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga Empire at War The Force Unleashed
That N64 Shadows of the Empire game was actually VERY long and very deep. It was an absolutely amazing game world where you could explore endlessly within each level. Definitely set a new standard for much of what followed.
I'm 45 and I've been playing Star Wars game since the Atari days... The first time I played a Star Wars game that really made me feel like "WOW" was Battlefront II on a high end PC at a gaming cafe sometime in 2005
Rebel Assault was the first video game I ever owned, my grandma got it for me for Christmas that year and I still play it on GOG I spent a ton of time playing Dark Forces and Shadows of the Empire, as well
Whenever I could find the sit-down cockpit version of the original Star Wars arcade game, it put my seven-year-old self in his happy place. 😃 There were also arcade variants to both Empire and Jedi, with Empire following the same graphic style as the original Star Wars.
Back then, with a strong dose of childhood imagination, it felt like being an actual pilot attacking the Death Star. I dropped a lot of coins into those machines.
@@MrRezRising I forgot all about Firefox! I only remember playing it a couple times, as not a lot of places had it. Most arcades and many supermarkets (remember when those had arcade machines?) had Star Wars. Good times!
What a great video. I’ve been playing since the first arcade and while I haven’t played all of them there are so many great memories and stories outside the movies. So much better than what we’re getting these days
What's so great about Star Wars Games you can pass on what you have learned to your kids. Me and my lads played the ones I played and we all played the newer ones Generational
I rarely got past Level 3 in the arcade version, even on Easy Mode. At that point, TIE Fighters start spamming fireballs nonstop that you're just trying not to get hit. I was around the same age in '82, and loved battling AT-ATs on the Atari. Then, decades later when the original Battlefront II came out, I found it was a lot funner to actually be the AT-AT crewman, blasting away at 'rebel scum'! 😄
2005 for iOS and android...hmmmm.... Also has no 2023 footage so more 1982-2019? So maybe title should be "Evolution of Star Wars games 1982-2019 + some trailers
Great video! Except you have to be a superomputer in order to read the info at the beginning of each cut to new hame... That is if you are trying to watch each game part...

That Star Wars Arena looks like it go over as a moble app game like that angy birds or what not ... I could see tons of people sitting in the doctors office trying to pull n hold those two beams together
For a lot of the PC Games, I have a varied collection of the original Big Box Games of Starwars, and 2 of the C64/ZX Games. With all the posters and manuals
My Top 10 Star Wars videogames are: 1) Star Wars: Rogue Leader (GameCube) 2) Star Wars: Rebel Assault 2 (PS1) 3) Star Wars Battlefront (PS2 & PS4) versions 4) Star Wars Battlefront 2 (PS2 & PS4) versions 5) Star Wars: Jedi Outcast (GameCube) 6) Star Wars Dark Forces (PS1) 7) Star Wars 1983 (Arcade game) 8) Star Wars Rebel Strike (GameCube) 9) Star Wars Trilogy: Apprentice of the Force (Gameboy Advance) 10) Star Wars: New Droid Army (Gameboy Advance)
Tai Fighter was hella fun. Had that game when I was little. Had Rebel Assault and a game that was a first person shooter like a few of the ones shown but I'm not sure which one it was. Star Wars Chess was really cool, you could set up boards with the pieces changes out to give yourself or the computer an advantage. You could have one side have all queens instead of pawns for example. I believe Star Wars Chess is abandonware now.
I like your video though you did skip a few games. However what was completely frustrating and annoying is as soon as the titles appear they disappear. Keep them on the whole time that the actual game is showing. It's frustrating to rewind and try to read it. Or try to read it and miss the actual game itself. Literally you have the titles on for half a second. Not sure why this was a decision. Otherwise I do like the video quite a bit. Please go back and re-edited with the title staying on throughout the entire clip
There was no x wing alliance and star wars squadrons, and the force unleashed ll, one of my favorite. Many more i never new existed but most of them don't even worth it a try. Dark forces ll: jedi knight is ok, but the second jedi knight is actually jedi knight ll: misteries of the sith
There was that handheld made for TV game that totally sucked .. had the Darth Vader helmet controller. Rebellion, X-Wing / Tie Fighter, Outcast, Racer, BF 2, Old Republic and Alliance were the best
amo star wars..pero en videojuegos solo jugue el REPUBLIC COMANDO y me encanto..es q me gustan demasiado en primera persona por eso solo jugue ese juego..y la mayoria son d e3era persona
My personal favorite Star Wars games came from the SNES, Super Star Wars, Super Empire Strikes Back and Super Return of the Jedi. They seemed original and fun being based on the first trilogy which was the best one and gold standard for Star Wars films. Prequels were very good if not exceptional contrary to what the critics say which I thought were exaggerations. The third trilogy from Disney gave me high hopes but ended up with mixed disappointments as films. I think Disney can get it right in the future with a 4th trilogy if they hire better directors, better producers and have better stories.

Can't find Star Wars Force Arena. Did it get removed?
Amazing to see how many of these seem to be quick, no-effort re-skins of other games.

Aw that leaves out the 2000s.
KOTOR 1 and 2
Republic Commando
The sequels to Rogue Squadron: Rogue Leader and Rebel Strike
Rogue squadron was way ahead of it's time.
There also were many of the classic books. 90s Star Wars was the best Star Wars. I never got into any of that prequel stuff.
Ah...nostalgia. "Rebel Assault II" was a lot of fun to play.

1984 Star Wars: Return of the Jedi had very impressive graphics for that time
Oh the hours spent on Empire strikes back on the atari as a kid. And the jedi arena, but taking out walkers was the best
Good video, but the game titles and platforms disappears too quickly. I kept having to rewind because I was watching the game play.

X-wing: Alliance, PC. Still impressive list and research! or should i say, "Impressive. Most impressive."
X-Wing: Alliance was great. Also missed Jedi Power Battles, and as someone else said, Squadrons.
You missed Squadrons
I also remember there being a Clone Wars educational game on the Didj.

That 82 Star Wars was actually pretty fun, at least for me at 6 years old on the Atari. That arcade X Wing game always gave me fits though.

I want a Shadows of the Empire remake with Next Gen graphics!
And additional story from the former official book. 😍
It's amazing Star Wars for George Lucas.
I got in trouble at work for downloading on the job's PC Star Wars Tie Fighter. I'd arrive at 6:00 am to play for a couple of hours.

it scares me how much money i must have spent on soooo many games. but good memories.

Star Wars Force Arena was insane forgot about that
I played Rebel Assault II I thought I was crazy thinking about just playing an x wing pilot!
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is releasing next friday... Thought it be nice to watch this.
Some games seem to be displaced. like in 13:29 for example, in which you fight the grand inquisitor, who first appeared in rebels (2014).
