Hiya Jen/Royce 😀and family ,Now I hear that's a big milestone of 11 years ❤ Great result - Your karma expected it. It is nice to see on paper knowing that the hardness of water is much lower from the Well Party on Water 💧 at Yours Thanks for the invaluable information Yes, on Florida and Mother Earth disasters in preparation 🙏🌎
That's great well news, Jen! Congratulations! I opened a previously sealed "dug" well on my property, for use *ONLY* on my veg garden, because using softened water from the house was effectively killing my plants! (Too much residual salt in the water.) The time may come when we lose municipal water, so this is nice insurance to have, and we have filters & purifiers, too. Thanks for the video, Jen, and Happy Thanksgiving! ❤❤
Glad your well worked out for you I'm sure it makes life at the cabin a lot more enjoyable. We were evacuated fron our nursing home in Pinellas County expected to return in 3-5 days. Weather reports got Helene way wrong there was 8+ feet of flooding in that area where we were so not only are we over 90 minutes away from family/friends but we all lost all of our belongings too. So the nursing home I am in now is very nice and withstood the powerful tornadoes and winds from Milton. So many trees down and we are still on auxiliary power as the power has not been restored yet. No matter what I went through my heart weeps for the thousands that also lost everything. May the power of God Almighty give strength to all who are struggling and feel lost.
What a stressful experience for you! I'm glad you are overall OK and weathered the storm. I'm sorry you lost all your belongings. I hope you can reunite with your family and friends in time. You bring up a good point about weather forecasting and weather models. It is often assumed they are fairly accurate, and towns/cities make plans based on a computer model. Sending strength and hope from Canada.
The hurricane really done a number on us. We are on the TN/NC/VA state lines right in the middle of the destruction. It's horrible. We still have people missing, presumed dead, entire interstate was destroyed, no water or electric in a lot of areas. What made it so bad, we had a week of rain right before the storm hit. They're saying a lot of bridges and roads won't be passable until next summer at the earliest. Great video, fall is looking beautiful up there.
I'm so sorry to hear of all the devastation. It is heartbreaking. I also heard some towns washed away along with so many people. I pray you get the help in your area to recover from this disaster. Sending strength and hope from your friends in Canada.
@@TheWildYam thank you so much Jen for your kind words. Our surrounding communities have really come together and got things moving really quickly. About two days after the storm we had hundreds of electrical utility work trucks from all over the country (and Canada!) helping to restore downed poles and lines. My specific area didn't have power for only 3 days, ( and thankfully our house wasn't damaged even though we have a river on both sides ) but the love and care from all over has been truly amazing.
Congrats on the well! The biggest dividend is your quality of life. I'm now 70years old, and I need to take some short cuts. I'd do the same if it was hauling in water.
If I dont wash my dishes as well as I like due to water rationing up at the cabin, I'll spray them with Isopropyl alcohol and let it sit, then wrote remainder dry. Doesn't leave a taste as presumably because it's dried.
Yay! Glad your well is producing clean water!! Looking forward to your next adventure! Hugs to Royce! ❤️🐾🐾🥾🥾⛺️🍁🍂
Thanks so much! Gave him a big hug from you. He appreciates it!

Sounds like you are prepared. In town, there is talk of switching people onto municipal water. Nope. Well water for me!

Thanks for sharing.
You're welcome!
Glad to see you have a great water source without hauling in. I filter my well water with the Aqua rain filters for drinking and cooking.
Those are great! Have a nice week.
Good info CJ 👍👍👍😃✌️💪❤️😊

I've not heard of that. Interesting. I have Starsan around for cleaning my bottles and equipment for making fermented sodas/beers etc.
Good mornin.🖐😎💦💦
